Thanks for mentioning that concept to help remembering the mechanical advantage... I just finished my Irata level 2 and I really didn't hear alot of golden rules or principles to help differentiate mechanical advantages... I'll remember that one for sure 👍🏼

“Tie me a non working 3:1 tie back”.....
Everyone pauses and hopes the other guy knows what that is. Classic firefighter move.

Repeat ... Repeat and repeat again! Until you don't have to think about the different steps, learn to do it instinctively. Perfect training! 👍

That Prussik looked like rope on rope abrasion cut. Especially since that Prussik is never taken off and always grabs in exactly the same location on itself. It looked like a hollowblock, which is great for grabbing power and less rope slip, but it's basically just a strong rope sheath with no inner core. Aramid is a great material for that purpose because it has high heat resistance, but is not cut proof...If you guys have the means to switch out to micro traxions maybe? Or take it off and inspect it every so often so you can at least change which side of the Prussik is taking all the friction......Sweet setup guys

When that's around a post or a tree, I'd still use the clove

You ever run into issues with long tail ends of the leg bag getting caught in a Belay device?
