Nicely done, I don't belong to any rescue unit or group here in the Philippines 🇵🇭, but this will help a lot if you encounter any problems in the outdoors, since I do practice rappelling, hope to see more videos of this kind.
Well played sir! First off ty for being a firefighter my hats off to ya! Ty for that service! I’m an 8 year USMarine here and do tree work now! The Omni blocks are simply awesome!! Ty for sharing
You still caused the twist of ropes. You have to be careful and return the directional pulley between the ropes, for the MPD has the becket in the middle not on the side. Best regards
Is there any chance you can do another video of this but from a different again? Like a Birds Eye view angle? Just so other viewers like myself can get a better idea from a different view. I’m not much of a side viewer, lol.
I 100% agree: shame on anyone who feels they know bette than, CMC themselves. Also, ironically: this is better...or quicker I should say, than CMC's solution of: (basically the same thing but backwards) of single to the single FIRST to the becket, then add the Double (alot more line management, the way it looked), outter lines in th double/double to the the Rescucender/triple wrap Prus.
Why not just use 2 Omni blocks with a alpine butterfly and an anchor? Quick set we use it in the tree industry and if it can pull a 200 foot tree with 75in dbh I don’t see why it wouldn’t work for rescue purposes
No more than 6 Marines on a 3:1 carabiner mechanical advantage, not more than 3 on 9:1 mechanical advantage, and never more than 3 on either with pulleys.
I would rather let the system be locked and re-run the rope without any twist and get all confused. Or rehear the move till you get it 100% perfect before making the video.

Great video. This video helped refresh my memory on doing the switch from 3:1 - 5:1
Way quicker than running rope through! Great stuff!

LCFD thanks you!! quick and easy.
Nice video and education thank you..
Awesome stuff!!!
great video! Where can I obtain what exact pulley names and manufacturers, rope, etc that you are using?
Rad Trevor! 🙌🙌
Well done

Love it
Thanku bro
Good lord this is over my head. Im just trying to make a big slingshot
Nice, Thx
Fantastic video
My suggestion is 4:1 with ID
But the Id isn’t a true mechanical advantage since it doesn’t have a rotating pulley inside
Interesting , thanks . I would never waste effort with anything less than 5:1 for loads unless it was unavoidable ( murphys law , lol ) .
Slick!

My guess is safety. A tree falling to the ground is a little different than a human or two falling.

Do you have time for a phone call
Yes for sure, happy to jump on a call
There is no way that side plate would open during a haul especially on a 3 to one
Absolutely riveting lol
9:1 pls
Ever one house give his life fore life must nkowe
