Love this. As I told you on FB, my son is on the spectrum with Aspergers. We used to hit all the local air shows. He’s 27 now, still lives with me, has a nice girlfriend, a steady job. Your son speaks very well.
Thank you! Jackson is doing great. He does receive speech therapy at school, but other than that he has no issues. My other son, Eli has cerebral palsy, and has many bigger struggles than Jackson. I would love to bring him to this event, but I am fearful of him running off in front of a propeller or something!
Thank you! Yes, you do have to bring a little bit of your own entertainment, depending upon the age of your kid, but I highly recommend at least bringing bikes or something to ride. That made all the difference for Jackson. Regardless of the bikes, the whole event definitely held his attention!
He's 11 and a reluctant aviation fan. I'm trying as hard as I can to get him to get the bug. We'll see. His favorite part of OSH is running around with the other kids. We do B2osh and there are a bunch of kids his age there to play with. That and cheese curds from some reason. He's an addict.... @@johnkluenker
