I used to ride decades ago and pretty much did all my maintenance. This e-bike thing is a whole different ballgame. I added tire liners and wanted to pass on a few things I learned. I don’t have a stand so I removed the battery. I do have a back rack but it did not come into play. First you will need a few tools, various sizes of allen wrenches to loosen up or remove the display, the speed/security buttons and anything else on the handle bars you might break (because when you turn over the bike to work on it, the bike will rest on the handle bars and seat.) a plastic gift card to be inserted in the brake opening after you remove the tire.(bend the card in two so it won’t fall out; the card will keep the brake from coming together if you should accidentally squeeze the lever… it is extremely difficult to separate) and lastly a small wrench. Keep all the tools together. You might add a flashlight but keep the batteries separate until ready to use to save them from deterioration. (I do keep mine in the light but I add a slice of plastic between the batteries so they don’t touch, I also write it on the outside of the flashlight in case I forget.) carefully turn the bike over being mindful of the rear fender hitting off the ground before resting the bike on the seat and handlebars. A small rag/towel to
keep the tools and bike part together and out of the dirt. Watch this video and others many times. Good luck👍.

Hello, was wondering if you have a video showing how to fix this bike upside down for folks without a stand. Totally understand that something might need to be used to protect the display/etc., but curious if there’s some best practice for that to give more of a real-life experience. Thanks in advance!

Does taking the rear wheel off affect the belt tension or is that held in place once the rear wheel is reinstalled?

Why don’t you guys make the two wheels tubeless?? That’s more convenient i think

for road riding or casual rider tubeless isn't a solution for everyone. you don't need to take advantage of a more supple tire feel and you can still get hit with flats from road debris. For many people, changing a flat is easier and more convenient than tubeless setup and maintenance.
