Today’s guest is Peter Bogdanovich who receives the Angel Award, at the 2021 City of Angels Women's Film Festival for his extraordinary work as a Director who crafted strong and unforgettable female characters throughout his directing career. Some of these include: Tatum O'Neal's Oscar winning role in Paper Moon, Cybill Shepherd in The Last Picture Show, Ellen Burstyn's nominated role and Cloris Leachman's Oscar winning role, both in The Last Picture Show, Cher in Mask, Barbara Streisand in What's Up Doc and many more.
Peter talks about his life and career influences including references to Stella Adler, Alfred Hitchcock, Howard Hawks, John Ford, John Wayne, Roger Corman, Dorothy Stratten and Hugh Hefner.
