Hi guys,
to remove the kidney grill on a BMW
you need 5 minutes time and a 30 Torx.
The reason for the removal are
Stone chips in the middle part of the bumper that I want to repaint
So that you can pull the bumper element to the front you only have to remove
remove the four Torx screws in the upper part.
There are different models of the radiator grill
models of the radiator grill are available.
By a simple exchange one can change the optics of the vehicle completely.
After removing the four screws
the plastic part of the bumper can be pulled forward.
A complete disassembly of the bumper
of the bumper is not necessary.
Behind the cover you can see the
plastic clips that you have to press together a little and then push forward.
In total there are seven fixing points.
After the disassembly I show you them in this video also immediately again closer.
When removed, you can see the mounting points very well.
The three on the top, one on the right, two on the bottom and one on the left.
By removing the grille, the paint work was easy to accomplish.
