    Brake disc has enough room to slide out without removing the Caliper Carrier on a Yaris. 👍

    So doesn't need grease on the back of the pads?

    • @autodocuk
      @autodocuk  Před měsícem

      In this case, there is no need to apply lubricant to the back of the brake pad.

    In the "How to change rear brake pads on Toyota Yaris Mk2" video, you give 34Nm as the torque for the wheel calliper bolts. On this one you give 28Nm. Are these referring to two different variants of this model, or is there a mistake? Informative videos otherwise.

      In this model, the torque may differ and depends on the manufacturer of the brake system that is installed on the car. If the brake system is installed on the car from the manufacturer TMC, then a force of 34 Nm is recommended, and if the brake system is installed on the car from the manufacturer TMMF, then a force of 28 Nm is recommended.
