Hi Nina, you know how I love you playing with colours.
These look like ranunculus flowers. Very pretty.
Good morning nina, I remember those flowers and the journal, I was so new to making journals and took inspiration from you, still do, but I am so happy to realize that through time you also develope your own style. So a trip to your memorylane is also a trip to my memorylane, is'nt that good? I made those flowers too, found a picture of a beautiful vase and put them in, they ended up in my first junkjournal.. Tomorrow a full week of mourning will end for you , I will watch the service for the funeral of your beloved Queen along with many, many people around the world. Sending you love and hugs, lenaxxx
Love the simplicity of these flowers...just perfect! Thank you for sharing! I hope you have an amazing holiday and I look forward to more tutorials. Thanks again!
Thanks so much for watching. Glad you enjoyed this project 💕
hello Nina so beautiful and simple flowers !!!!! but often the simplest things are the more beautiful !!! thank you for sharing !!!
I couldn’t agree more, and they are often the most fun to make 💕
Good morning Nina. A lovely colourful effective crafty arty make on this beautiful September morning. What better way to start the day TYFS 💕
So much fun. I have missed your "older" experimenting and a little bit of more modern approach. Later years you have been making more collage and vintage stuff, which is beautiful, but I missed this simpler joy. I realize that people move and develope their style and work. I do not make things the same way I did some years ago myself, but as I said - I have missed this side of your work. Thanks for all your inspirations !!
Thanks you for your kind thoughts Ingrid. I enjoyed making these embellishments and will try and mix in more of this style going forward 💕
Same thoughts here, evrybody does vintage already ....
What a great project and easy enough for all ages and skill levels! The final shot of them all together was so vivid and beautiful - it could be glued to a canvas as is and hung on the wall. 🤗 Thanks so much for sharing! Janet 💕
Thanks Janet, they do look pretty together don’t they 💕
@@NinaRibenaMixedMedia Indeed they do!
Just love your garden of whimsical flowers and leaves!
More beautiful makes, Nina. Your art and your lovely manner are so uplifting. Have a good day. xx
Hello Nina I do enjoy your videos and your thought process but I really enjoy it when you share a stash builder project. Have a blessed week.
Thank you so much Nina, I really really enjoyed watching you create these stunning and gorgeous flowers and leaves too. And yes I can see it would be very very addictive too. I really really love ❤️ them. Have a lovely holiday Nina, and we’ll look forward to seeing you what you do next with them all. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
Thanks so much Mags. These are such a fun make. Hope you have a fabulous week 💕 xxxx
Love these flowers and leaves. No one "plays" like you do. Inspires me to get out the paints!
Awww, thank you for your kind words Mary Anne ❤️
Hi Nina, thanks for sharing these, they are so simple yet gorgeous. I also watch a lady called Gi Kerr on here, and she has recently been making jewellery and key fobs etc, from shrink plastic. I recently bought some A4 sheets of shrink plastic, and am going to be making jewellery in a mo. Your beautiful flowers will be great to paint on the plastic, then to heat gun them, to shrink them for earrings etc. So you know what I'm going to be doing today!! I just thought your flowers will be ideal for that. I always get excited in anticipation in waiting for your brilliant tutorials and inspiration. Thank you so much. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday, week ahead, and have a wonderful holiday/safe journey. Take care, xx
Hi Val, I absolutely love the idea of making jewellery with these. I have a pack of shrink plastic somewhere in my stash and I will definitely be digging it out to try it. Hope you have a great week 💕 xx
What fun! I just treated myself to some acrylic paints to use for ornaments for the grandkids. I might have shut my craft room door so the cats don't try to help. But these look like a fun thing to do.
I love these easy, fun flowers. I, too, got carried away making them. I'm thinking of painting a wall in my craft room🤔fun.

Just so gorgeous. The last time I made these I used old magazine pages and they worked out quite well. I might bear these in mind for November time, they would be ideal as poppies. Sending much love to your and your family for a great holiday. Tfs xo

Fabulous Nina! It is art therapy watching your videos :) The variety of colors and the two tone leaves came out to a perfect mix. This is something I think I can try.
Awww, thank you. Go on, give them a try 💕
I love these arty flowers, I remember them from last time and made a good stash of them, I also made some on old book paper with transparent paints just to be different, thanks for sharing.
Love the idea of making these on book pages. I might try it with watercolour 💕
Very pretty...love the colours. x Blessings x Mariana UK xx
Thanks Mariana 💕 xx
It was Betsy doodle that made those, these are fabulous, the centres on some look like water drops, Have a wonderful Holiday take care.
Thanks Ann, I wasn’t sure as both Angie and Mags sent me very similar ones. I think it was originally Angie’s idea that kick started these 💕
Good day to you Nina. I've been following you for about 3 years or so and had not seen this flower. I love it and I remember this style of flower being on many decorative items many years ago. After reading all of the comments I began to see a pattern of people that had been following you for a much longer time. They were loving seeing some of the things you had done in the past which made me think of another CZcamsr from the UK that I watch, Shabbydabbydoodah. She goes back a couple of times a month and revisits something she has done in the past Mass make / stashbuster with a little of an update to a previous project matching what she's currently doing in her junk journals. Which made me wonder if that is something you could possibly do once a month. The response in the comment section of your video makes me think you would make many happy viewers, and I know I would love to see some of your previous creations. I look forward to every week watching you even though I don't leave comments often. Safe and happy holiday travels from Northeastern Nevada USA.
Good morning Pam, thanks so much for taking the time to leave this comment. I think that’s a great idea and is definitely something I will seriously think about for next year ❤️
Love,love love these.
So pretty!
These are lovely. Thank you for sharing this idea. Hope you have a wonderful holiday!
Thank you Mary Ellen 💕

She’s back 😉 love them xx
I think you might be right. Feeling much more inspired this week 😅❤️ xx
Love these. I made loads last year after watching Dee and Maggie's videos. I also made flowers by putting paint on a balloon, I preferred those ones. They were from Dee and Maggie's videos too. Xxx
Yes, I saw Maggie’s video using a balloon 💕 xx
@@NinaRibenaMixedMedia two great ways to make beautiful flower embellishments. Have a nice holiday xxx
Thx so much for this great idea. While you are away on holiday we have time to create some ourselves and wait for your next tutorial about how to use them. Enjoy your holiday.

I love these! My mind went running thinking about how to do these smaller for cards. I’m looking forward to seeing how you use these. Thanks
Oooh, I love the idea of making smaller ones 💕
They are really pretty 😍
Thank you 💕
Thanks Nina, I had forgotten about these pretty embellishments. Nice and simple, right up my alley today. I am looking forward to how you use them. Yesterday I made a card for my aunt ( Mom's little sister), she had sent me a thank you for taking care of Mom and telling me that she understood why we had not called. The last 4 years I have dialed the phone and gave it to mom so she could talk to her. The last time I tried Mom got very confused and upset, so... I hope you enjoy your holiday, stay safe.💕💕
Even I can do these, thank you Nina ❤
Happy Creating 💕
So pretty, so easy
Aren’t they fun ❤️
Love these, and so simple!
Ooh, you could use watercolour and sprinkle salt to give texture
Merci beaucoup pour cette très belle inspiration. Merci Merci
Merci beaucoup Joelle. Bonne Creation! 💕
I have to ditto Ingrid F comment, but I love watching whatever you do Nina..♥️
Thanks Dawn. I’ll have a rethink for next year. What would you like to see from me going forward? 💕
@@NinaRibenaMixedMedia your collaging is very inspirational but I really enjoy when you do more artsy things. You were one of the very first people I watched on CZcams and gave me so many wonderful tips and ideas to make things. From your alcohol inks to making tassels and using beads, sari silk, etc. I will continue to watch whatever you do Nina, you are my inspiration. Btw, I try to be as neat as you…but, it never works🥴♥️
Gorgeous xx❤

These are really beautiful and with spring now in South Africa, it has that bright and happy feeling. So looking forward to see how you use these in a project. Enjoy your holidiay
Your flowers are gorgeous! I made these years ago and still have a box with many in it! They were so much fun to make! I recently made a dozen ATC’s using some and love them! I may go through some of my journals and place a row of them at the edge like you did. If I can use what I have, I can make some like yours. I love the soft and subtle colors you used! TFS. Enjoy your holiday! 🙏💞
These are lovely!
Thanks Laurie 💕

Ooooh,it’s nice to see you experimenting with your paints! These turned out great 😁X
I really enjoyed making these. Can you confirm who was the initial inspiration for these? I thought it was Angie, then Dee and Mags, but I could be wrong 💕 Xx
@@NinaRibenaMixedMedia I thought same as you 😊
How fun
🙂👍
💕💕💕
Hi Nina what would the leaves look like if cut with pinking shears. This video has reminded about making roses!! Happy holidays.
Thanks Christie. Only one way to find out 💕
Love these flowers, Nina. What is the difference between using the white gesso and the white paint? Does it give you an added texture?
Hi Grace, the gesso is more matte and chalky giving the flowers a more pastel look. But you can use either. Hope that helps 💕
@@NinaRibenaMixedMedia yes thank you
Lina ❤ them could we do them on fabric, beautiful .love your work I have just found you recently.Hugs Daphne from Australia 🦙🙏🏻🇦🇺🇦🇺
Hi Daphne, I think they’d look lovely on fabric 💕
