How Good Would Lara Croft Be at the Olympics?

In this video I make a tier list of all Olympic sports and explain it based on my knowledge of the Tomb Raider games.
There are 43 sports in total, classified into 5 categories: those where Lara could win a medal, those where she could qualify, and those where she would probably not qualify.
I start the video by explaining Lara's skills. Everything is very subjective.
I generated several thousand images to reach this result, selecting the best 700. The music and voice are also AI-generated.
Lara Croft is a fictional character, she doesn't exist in real life, the images aren't real pictures.

About cold watter - I think an avarage human will die very fast in the Antarctica watter.
About her "low defence" - disagree. She dies only when falls from very high (if with max health). She was running, rolling, climbing on VERY harsh terrain, including rocks, forests, old decaying wooden planks (ouch!) and rusty remains of a ship... bare foot (double ouch!)... I think her body is very resilient.
Andy why is she right-handed? I mean, she's originally right-handed, but she uses double pistols, so she obviously trained both hands equally.
Also Lara is not an archeologist. She's a tomb raider, wich is basicly an anti-archeologist and the real archeologist's worst enemy. I think in Indy and Uncharted worlds she would be a villain.
And off course I'm talking only about the original Lara
Overall I agree with the list. I would totally watch gymnastics if she participated XD
She probably has the stronger feet of the world 🤯 Her pedicurist probably uses some hacksaw and hammer 😂

Don't forget about what drives her. "I only play for sports". She would play many of these sports she barely qualifies for, just to win.
Think about how she talks about Pierre and Larson. You could hear the composed excitement, when she knew she was on a race for the relics against those "rats. Big Rats." Same about getting there before Bartoli.
Lara is extremely competitive just for the sake of it. Even though we can barely tell because of the amount of time she spends alone.
She could also work just fine in a group fight with allied monks, which tells us she has excellent aim, as she never shoots any of them. Actually ? Even in the middle of a somersault, she never misses a shot. Good fit for precision sports.
As to her lack of abilities underwater, did you see how fast she can roll underwater when she wants to turn around ? That alone is an incredible achievement.
As to all the sports that would put her at a disadvantage because she would have little vision on the field due to her height ? Don't forget that Lara would be competing exclusively against other women, and she is very tall.
I know but I had to justify a tier list for the video lol 🤗 she is for sports when it's for archeology or she wouldn't be an adventurer I think ^^ it's far-fetched of course or she would get gold only 🤗

Ty dude :p I used bing/copilot, it's free to use, generate women is often impossible because of censorship but Lara seems to have immunity as you don't need to tell the bot how she looks exactly 😎 Also when it refuses to generate what you want you can ask GPT to generate a prompt using "safe words", so don't ask for "Lara Croft in a swimsuit" but "Lara Croft in the official suit for swimming competition", suddently it works 🤣 Of course if you pause you'll notice many errors, it's not the most evolved AI but it's easy to use and the result is often funny 😂
@@FoXMaSteR001 I did notice some “quirks”, but it’s very nice overall. And yeah, prompting AI and working around the safeguards seems to be an art in itself. great effort!

I hate that the AI gives her that necklace from the reboots in almost every picture.
I don't think the T-rex would be satisfied with standing on the sidelines and just cheering her on. 😅

What makes Lara Croft one of the most captivating and enduring character through almost 30 years in gaming industry? What is the cause of her phenomenon? In comparision with other female lead: Oni, Drakan, Heavy Metal fakk2, Alice, bloodrayne, Horizon etc. What developers should do to make the Lara's phenomen more stronger in the future? Whenever I see artistic gymnastics at the Olympic Games I remember Lara and I am very happy to see that most of us agree that she would win gold effortless.
On the other hand, I seem to remember that classic Lara knows several martial arts (although technically it is not shown in the games, probably due to the technology of the time), perhaps that helps increase her defense statistics and her performance in tournaments.

That's exactly the problem with the modern Lara when we think about it, this and the fact she is constantly crying about her past 🤨 I can understand the past issue but removing acrobatic skills is probably the worst decision of all 🤔

if you're not limiting her to just the vikander version, then she just blows everyone out of the water. i mean it cant really go any other way when you're bringing in a blatantly superhuman character into the real world olympics. teamplay wouldn't be necessary since she can solo the entire team.
Exactly, the problem is I needed to make the tier list so I just tried every excuse possible to justify a low tier 🤗 For example archery is also a team sport at the beginning of the competition, then it goes solo at the very end :p

Thanks 😍 I think it's legaly impossible, the only way would be to draw them in real life on paper and then sell them telling it's just a brown hair woman (not Lara). But you can generate you own images copilot.microsoft.com/ the fastest way is using a google account, which is free to create, then ask the AI how to generate images and it will give you tips, here for one picture there are about 5 to 40 "wasted" pictures I didn't selected, it takes time but still less than drawing them. It's also possible to extract the pictures of the video with the screenshot button on full screen I think 😃

at 1:13, i didn't know it's possible to set Lara on fire like that even though she landed on the block, not directly on lava.
It's a footage from the bloopers, in fact when she hits the corner of the plateform she teleports on the bottom of it, but as she still has motion she is then too far inside it and the game pushes her on the top of it (basically a corner glitch), but during the process she touched lava and burns. All of this happens in 1 frame, so 0.03s 😳 So when we say she burns quickly it's really quickly 🤣 It's as fast as cartoon characters with explosions 😂

Not exactly, I didn't ask anything in the prompt to improve Lara's body, she is just like that by default. This AI can detect if you are trying to generate a woman and rapidly censor the process, but Lara is imune to these modern excesses 😎

Isn't the T-Rex running in the background of the disciplines from Dino Crisis? I swear I saw it in the "DEMO" when you stay in the main menu for a while.
This is the Trex of the first PS1 demo, it was used to display the console capabilities, here it's a remastered version, the original wasn't that great :p You got a button to put the camera where you want and make it roar, there was also a version with a Manta Ray if I remember well 😍 The background music is iconic and spooky :p

Do you relay think Lara is tall? In comparison to all her human opponents in game - especially Tomb Raider Ⅱ - the's was always one head smaller then others.

I always thought, Lara is 1.5 meters tall (approximately 4'11'') → according to the _assumingly_ 2 by 2 m grid panels, the world is based of.

I think she is more about 170cm as Angelina Jolie is 169cm and looks tall enough to play Lara. But according to google there are 3 different Lara 🤯
Classic timeline : 180cm (5'11") (I selected this one for the video)
Second timeline : 175cm (5'9'')
Third timeline : 173cm (5'8'')
If we look at the average data for England it's still 164.4cm for women, and if we consider the average is increasing of 1cm every 10 years we can deduct Lara was "very tall" for her generation ^^
But apparently they constantly reduce her size which is paradoxal, because if the trend continues she will be "small" in +-30 years 🤔
Even if the average is 164.4cm it's rare to find women of 150cm, basically they are as rare as women of 178.8cm, which is almost 180cm (classic Lara), so in both cases Lara is at the end of the curve and special 🤗
