    Team Success- Rockets. Team Efficiency- Rockets. Team Talent- Rockets. Statistical Success- Westbrook. Execution difficulty- Westbrook. Houston has better talent than OKC and Westbrook has to do everything for his team. Harden is the best player on Houston, with a better team record, and is still putting up amazing stats. By definition MVP- Harden

    I want Westbrook to win MVP but the winner should also be winning games. That's why they are the MVP.
    Harden will win it this year.

    it might be obvious but i just want to say that r westbrook seems like a berserker, harden seems like a strategist... harden seems to have more intelligence with his plays

    Funny how okc fans slam their own team just to make it seem like he should win MVP. If Russell were to average one less rebound or assist he wouldn't even be relevant in this MVP race. But hey! Ttttripplleee dddooouubbleeeee

      @071497614 Před 7 lety

      Westbrook's teammates aren't terrible, that's not what OKC fans are saying at all
      It's just that Harden's teammates are much better in comparison

    • @cassavepiece
      @cassavepiece Před 7 lety

      PerfectAJ ppldont realise that okc has 3 rookies (pg,sg,pf) coming off the bench and outside of russ and taj, all the other rotation players are 24 and under, until the taj trade okc was 4th youngest team in league...russis the veteran on the team at age 28... all the other young teams are deep in the lottery..

  • @KouMurrell

    If I'm not mistaken, steph curry was voted the first unanimous MVP playing with the best team. Therefore, why is the fact that Hardens team is better an argument against him ? stfu with that.

    You can't win MVP outside of the 3rd seed of your conference... it's never happened before

    Westbrook gets his numbers and the triple double, but Harden gets great numbers and the W while getting his team a top 3 record. Harden is the MVP.

    Lmao.. a lot of salty Thunder fans here reminding us about the triple doubles. This game just proved who the MVP should be guys: James Harden. He may haven't scored a lot of points but look at what he's got: 12 assists, he made his teammates better and he didn't just care about the stats. Plus Harden led his team in 3rd seed, Westbrook would've done the same but all he cared about was the triple doubles look at that ball hog stealing Oladipo's rebound: www.sbnation.com/2017/3/26/15066852/russell-westbrook-rebound-bowls-over-victor-oladipo-thunder Maybe if Russell Westbrook wasn't hogging the ball that much, I know that Thunder would be 4th or 3rd in the conference right now. Any superstar in the league can average a triple double if they had 43% usage rate, jump in front of teammates stealing their rebounds, average 5 turnovers per game just to get 10 assists, and has 42%.

    • @cassavepiece
      @cassavepiece Před 7 lety

      Rosiemarie! ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ hahahahaha harden averages more tunrovers thasn westbrook, plays more minutes too, "oh harden didnt have to score but look he has assists" umm russ has more assists tho... did you watch the game? i counted 11 wide open 3s that his teammates missed, like litteraly the whole rockets team in the paint and they brick it after the first quarter thunder were down by 6, both harden and westbrook rest... by time they come back in houston turned that 6 point lead to 20 point lead but you're not going to admit houston is a better team, you'll say harden made his teammates play better while sitting on the bench right

    • @raptorslicious8684
      @raptorslicious8684 Před 7 lety

      Thoughts Have Correlation Kaos Lol yeah Harden did average more turnovers what look at the Rocket's record: They are still 3rd even of those turnovers. What about the Thunder? 6TH, having a chance to fall to 7th. What use are those triple doubles when Thunder has a shitty record? Are wins more important or the stats? Even if Russell Westbrook passes Oscar Robertson and averages a triple double, he's not winning MVP this year. Kawhi Leonard, LeBron James or James Harden is, good day.

  •  Před 7 lety

    6 OKC bench players (40p) 3 HOU (56p). OKC played well ofensively, but HOU was insane - played so quickly, shot 3-4 feet beyond the arc and it was all goin in (60% fg). Roberson is the weakest point, I'd rather start McDermott over him. Rudy Gay or Hawayrd would be perfect fit for OKC.

  • @mpthegreat8046
    @mpthegreat8046 Před 7 lety +4

    Imo harden is a great player and is a major part of the rockets success but he gets a little bit too much credit for the teams sucess I mean yeah he has no other superstars on the team but he does have guys that can shoot lights out which is a big deal in today's NBA he isn't carrying his team the way people think he is Westbrook is literally carrying his team like his team won't make a shot unless he gives them a wide open layup under the rim

    • @Miltonman100
      @Miltonman100 Před 7 lety +2

      Harden makes all of these guys better and we didnt even have Ryan Anderson

    • @mpthegreat8046
      @mpthegreat8046 Před 7 lety +3

      Harden can't make these players make contested three pointers though Westbrook creates shots for teammates but they don't make them like the rockets can those guys on the rockets can make shots like crazy if you put harden on the thunder and Westbrook on the rockets the thunder would be the same and the rockets will be the same harden can pass them the ball but they got to know what to do with it

    • @mpthegreat8046
      @mpthegreat8046 Před 7 lety +2

      Miltonman100 what I'm saying is you can make a player better by giving them shot opportunities but then it's up to them to make the shot and hardens teammates makes a lot of shots so it's easier to average 12 assists and win 50 games

    • @keefxairness6295
      @keefxairness6295 Před 7 lety

    • @mpthegreat8046
      @mpthegreat8046 Před 7 lety +1

      The rockets team last year barely made the 8th seed the thunder are in a position to get the 5th seed yeah harden carried his team but not to the level that Westbrook is carrying his team this year but yeah harden was also underrated last year he should've been a second team player

  • @AP-ok9rs

  • @ricardoramirez-fc6vo
    @ricardoramirez-fc6vo Před 7 lety

    Westbrook > Harden | Rockets > Thunder that's the breakdown. Westbrook carries his team every night and some nights even then they barely have a chance, I've seen harden have bad games and the Rockets still win by 10+. that's the difference, that's why westbrook is mvp or at least should be, but people want to point out record as if That isn't an indication of a better overall team and not an indication of better overall player

    • @max-alainpierre-pierre3829
      @max-alainpierre-pierre3829 Před 7 lety +2

      ricardo ramirez All you say is carrying. But two years ago, Harden carried his team to the 2nd spot in the West but did not win for a guy who averaged 23.8 pts, all that because Curry was the best player on the better team.

    It's shouldn't be based off of which players team is winning... you need to see which player is most valuable to their team.. without harden the rockets would still be good with Lou running point.. The thunder without Westbrook at point are literally nothing.. therefore Westbrook should get MVP

    • @Miltonman100
      @Miltonman100 Před 7 lety +1

      Alec Mertens do you really think the rockets would make the playoffs with lou williams and eric gordon as their best players?Lmfao

    • @Miltonman100
      @Miltonman100 Před 7 lety +1

      Alec Mertens the rockets Cavs Spurs would be shit without their best players also.How do you win MVP and ur team isnt even that great?MVP is about exceeding expectations and leading your team to a top 5 record in the entire league.Okc isnt even near that

    • @alecmertens2744
      @alecmertens2744 Před 7 lety

      +Alec Mertens take harden away...rockers don't make playoffs...take Russ away okc doesn't make playoffs...so they are on the same ground from where I am standing...harden deserved MVP 2 years ago...and he deserves it this season...

    • @Miltonman100
      @Miltonman100 Před 7 lety

      Alec Mertens sam Dekker and trevor ariza have been horrible the past month.The only guys outside of Harden who have been consistent since the allstr break are Anderson and Capela.This was Gordon and Lou's best game post-allstar break . We were clicking on all cylinders on offense today but dont let this game fool you.Gordon ariza have been cold and lou williams had 5 pts vs the pelicans on friday .

      Lol Westbrook has Steven Adams, Victor Oladipo, and Enes Kanter. What about Rockets? His team is similar to Westbrook's team and yet they're still in 3rd. What use are those triple doubles when his team is only 6th right now? Westbrook has been stealing rebounds from his own teammates, you really think he deserves it? And he recently stole a lot of rebounds from Victor Oladipo: www.sbnation.com/2017/3/26/15066852/russell-westbrook-rebound-bowls-over-victor-oladipo-thunder

      Rosiemarie! ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ this is a make or miss league and in this league if you have players who can consistently hit the 3 or just shoot all together cough cough golden state you will be a top tier in the league which is what also Houston is. Westbrooks second best shooter/scorer is a center being enes kanter lol I'm taking nothing away from harden he's a beast but in my opinion it should be co MVP because you can't give it to harden and ignore westbrook and you can't give it to westbrook and ignore harden.
