Rusty is such a good guy he helped me get my sub fixed after an install shop broke one of em. He took away his profit margin so he was just giving me a free service fixed it in 3 days DC for life 👏
Rusty is a down to earth cool guy. I’ve bought equipment from him over the years. He answers calls and doesn’t rush you off the phone. Nice suburban build.
That’s really clean. I have never ran DC or have known anyone that has. I have seen them many times in magazines and thought they where something I could never get. After hearing what others are saying this company seems very well built and down to earth. That’s how all companies need to be. I thought this was going to be a budget build until I watched it. Love it and the quality of your products.
Excellent Video and Excellent product placement. Business is Business. Most don’t understand, it’s not just oh look at my system it’s basically telling you “come Get on our level”. And I agree. Keep up the Good Work JP and Rusty.
Magic Mike is a good dude. Had the chance to spin with him and DJ Davie D at a pool party but I didn't get a cool track like DC did. Big ups, Keep Bangin.
DC Headquarters and Rusty ... Instant thumbs up! I love DC! I've had 3 sets of DC Subs in the last 3 of my vehicles spanning over the last 10 years! Wow... im old and just realized it 🤯
DJ magic Mike, TECHMASTER PEB, Bass 305, and who remembers Bass Cube?! That was my set back in the day. I wore the tapes out to the point the treble was sketchy at best!
DJ magic mike make the car go boom..... Boooooom.... ba boom boom boom ba boooooom, booooooooooooooooooom; booom, ba boom boom boobooo boooooooooooooommmmmmmmmm.....? That one? Bass mechanik next? Before I heard the track. Don’t judge. Happy memories.
It was magic Mike and ade that got me started , then an accident got me all my mobile electronics training and vehicles like that and jp truck is why i am coming out of retirement and wanting to do another big build .thanks guys !
He'll yaaah! That was bad ass bud wow...game me chills just by watching.. haha haha some day a dream of having a system like it... thanks for sharing 👍
Rusty seems like a genuine, down to earth, old school audio fan. I’ve never ran any DC audio products, but I might have to throw some love his way after watching this. Plus the story about the DC audio song. 👍🏽👍🏽 Awesome video.
When I worked@Rockford, all of us demo'd DJ Magic Mike on our systems. 🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊 Such a clean install. Great idea of using a rear air conditioner for the amp rack.
Hell yeah now that's a system and looks awesome in the burban. I have two kicker twelves in a HiFi sound connection vented box hooked to a belva 200 watt amp nothing special but still slams when the bass hits
That thing is bad ass. Loved it. Nice suburban. Hard to believe he picked it up for so cheap. Of course he probably fixed it up to look so good but overall beautiful truck
I'm 47 and my first "Bass" experience was with DJ Magic Mike too. (Lower The Dynamite) I had a 83' GMC S15 with 15" subs in the bed with all my Mids and Highs in the front. Earned me several "Disturbing the peace" tickets too. hehe Good times!
DJ Magic Mike was who got me hooked on bass. Became an official bass head back in the day. Had a little dodge shadow hatchback running about 1500 rms. Been out of it awhile, but looking for ideas for my ‘04 expedition. Thanks for the demo.
Magic Mike yes indeed. Musicland and Sam Goody at the mall Once home I would sit in front of the house speakers bass up! Rusty is really down to earth the type of guy that would help you move your couch :). $1200 bucks? Winning!! Peace and Bass y'all
Man...I appreciate all builds that keep the vehicle usable. I love it. I'm doin an 00 Astro & the plan is 2 keep it a 8 passenger. Lol this shit is XPENSIVE tho. I'm keeping my door & pillar speakers 4 now but that damn bc 17k was almost 3gs & the subs I'm leaning towards are resilient team 15s ×2 & that's another $2300 smh!! Oh well wish me luck & again the build is hella dope.
Oh Man,Great Video I love D.C. Audio. I like the Burban, better than his Van. Magic Mike was my theme music, growing up. I have all his Bass CDs. J P you Rock.
I'm not talking shit... this is a beautiful build. Though I do find one issue that I think the designer overlooked or maybe didn't think it through completely. Okay, we all know that heat rises. Yet you have the hot air exhaust below the cool air vent. One thing I have learned from years of building custom gaming computers is that you want positive air flow across the motherboard from front (intake).... to back (exhaust). My suggestion would be to have put a exhaust that draws the hot air away from the amp rack on the driver side. This exhaust would pull the incoming cold A/C air across the amp rack from on the passenger side. That would be efficient positive air flow. Just a thought...
@ 3:18 he explains the the intake is directly below the vent. All I was suggesting was moving the vent from the passenger side to the driver side. That would provide a positive air flow across the amps efficiently. As it is now, having them on the same side kind of defeats their purpose completely. Like I said, this is a beautiful build and it is definitely worthy of representing DC audio's name.
@@TheConnectCompetitionSystems this isnt a pc... airflow isnt going to make a major difference. If you were REALLY worried about temps, watercool. It would be super cool to see the first watercooled amp.
@@sethh8892 So if airflow isn't going to make a major difference, why put heat sinks on amps? Why put fans on amps? As far as water cooling goes, yes it would be cool to see a 'liquid' cooled amp. In a PC you cool a single chip or two chips. In an amp you would need to cool multiple mosfets, capacitors, as well as the power coil. You would also need to add a radiator, fan and pump to keep the fluid moving to prevent it from superheating. When you start adding things you stand to introduce noise into the system. I think the reason we haven't seen any liquid cooled amps introduced into the pro car audio market yet is because of these challenges. An effectively liquid cooled amp would need to be almost completely submerged. It could be done... I've built PC's submerged in fish tanks. It just isn't practical in a vehicle. Oh, It's not water btw, it is a non-conductive fluid like mineral oil.
Never thought about a subburban before lots of room love the build simple but nasty mine ain't that great but had to turn the shake to shuffle off my I pod lmao
