What a waste of time on one donor lol,we're busy inside so just put your stuff in the bins if you dont need help or a receipt and I'll usually greet them to have a good day if I didn't have to assist them
I had to unload my goodwill donations myself most of the time. The lazy workers don’t budge to help you. Only found one or two good workers that smiled and assisted me with my items.
You know what's messed up is I was tricked into paying another friend/ co worker well I thought he was a friend at gw and he tricked me out of about 350 to 400 dollars I kept talking about how I wished my old trailer site was back and I could work at my old trailer site at the golf course and he said if I gave him money he knew someone in H n R that would help me git it there but he only knew someone in payroll and he ripped me off and manipulated me out of my hard earned money just cause I was a little on the slow side it's sad how it is at Goodwill but he ended up getting a free car that was donated to Goodwill and he ended up getting into some trouble snwyas Goodwill is a big joke and other ppl take advantage of us slow employees it's so sad I'm glad I'm not working there no more.
@@l.o.r410 Dude I literally got to sit on my as* for 6 years and got paid for it despite it being minimum wage because it was so easy. I gurandamntee that you would also have done it yourself if you were given the chance🤣
Never see the Goodwill step up to help communities in need. Put people back to work ... heck you would need ppl to work there anyway. Donate to Salvation Army who actually help the community
I never once met a Goodwill greater for donations. The Goodwills I've always come across have the box for clothes. And you have to set everything else outside around the Box. This is the biggest fucking bullshit lie. I would rather go to a place that is not far from my house. They collect donations of clothing and items, plus they don't even take shit for themselves. I put some Under Armour shirts in a bag along with sweatpants. The place then I'm talking about is only open 4 days a week. And I went in the next day early in the morning along with other people that get there early in the morning trying to find something, I went to the racks to find my large shirts hanging on the racks. You just have to find the right local place and do reviews about them. Don't do Goodwill. Jim Gibbons was a huge reason why I quit donating to Goodwill. His demeanor was something that I found deplorable. They were paying people wages that had disabilities, weigh less than he got paid as a CEO. He never fought for those people to get higher wages. As long as he was getting money shoved into his pockets, he could care less. Don't get me started on Steve Preston. Piece of shit assholes!
@@PraveenSrJ01 It's all good lol I was just ranting two years ago. It is messed up how crooked people can be. I still to this day take my donations to a place called Common Garments. They don't sell anything they get or take anything they get. The operators of it are a married couple who are strong Christians. They genuinely help people.
@@boondox270 I'm a little confused, aren't they supposed to take your donations and put them on the racks? It sounds like you donated some nice clothes so why is it surprising that they're selling them on the store the next day?
@@Troshock I should have mentioned when I meant the place that I go to is a different place other than Goodwill. It's actually an awesome place. They don't charge people for clothes. When you put something in their place for donation you don't have to worry about people at Goodwill keeping stuff for themselves. I've heard too many times about Goodwill employees going through the donations and keeping stuff. Place I go to is only open 4 days a week and they allow each person that walks in the door to take 10 items without charging them. I don't do goodwill just because that place that I go to is a better option
Took them how long to deal with 1 donation?
I would like to see them get a uhaul with furniture+ 5 cars, see if they can handle it.
(on a solo shift!
1:40 donors don't walk in. They will leave their donations on the floor most of the time if nobody greets them. Which the donor did at 1:50.

Massive skill issue on your part, not goodwill's fault at all.
Nobody usually greets me and treats me like the donor on take 1. I’m referring to the goodwill in Morrisville, NC.
Hold up... You are not suppose to ask if they want a receipt.
