I've done the same thing one. I was driving my brand new truck and got rear-ended by a grandma turned around putting a pacifier in her grand babies mouth and traffic come to a stop and she hit me. She had no insurance and down on her luck! So I fixed my truck and her car. Your a good dude Tim!
Not pitty, no insurance, no tags. I would call the cops.

I just had my Detroit 60 Series rebuilt a few months ago. It was doing the same thing and for 3 weeks it got worse. So i decided to have it rebuilt and it had a blown head gasket. I got a 2016 Freightliner Coronado glider kits from Fitzgerald and it had 898,000 miles on it.

My 22 I was driving had a mysterious coolant loss. Was at 1 terminal twice for coolant and metal in apu oil. Shut valves off then cracked expansion then big terminal for new apu. Couldn't find loss so sent me to dealer. New injector cups. Then to main terminal and got sent to dealer and they found liners 1 and 5 were leaking through liners. I got a new trk assigned because they did a long block swap. All of this happened in 3 weeks minus 1 weekend hometime and was down 10 days😊
Who else has heard him say he was gonna unload videos before then disappear for a month lol still love em though I can respect that he takes care of business an family first b 4 sharing his life with us. His priorities are in the right spot and direction

Hey I like your channel. I think it is great that you speak the truth. I was hit by a semi truck in Springfield Illinois, on south grand. 2 weeks ago on Wednesday. I am an industrial painter from Missouri. I was in a man lift in my work containment. My man lift was hit and I was scalped by the beam on the train bridge, 0and was knocked around like a ping pong ball. I’m severely injured and my head was stapled shut. I’m not wanting any money or anything like that. I’m not offering a reward. I just know that you’re up by Springfield Illinois quite a bit and I’m just wanting to find the person who hit me and caused the sufferance on my family and myself. Thank you and keep trucking!! If you want pictures I will send them to you. Just keep trucking.

Your s good guy, I'm a truck driver as well and people have issues and problems but they need to keep that blind eye open you know, especially with kids luckily they weren't in the car but, she was just waiting to get pulled over, no tags, come on regardless of insurance or not. I just got the front of my truck smacked in a TA. Your a good guy bro, stay safe. Maybe you could give me some pointers, I've been wanting to start you tubing myself driving and what not. That was a kind thing to do Tim. In this day and age you never know what people are going to do, not sure if she really was distracted or if she was trying to collect insurance. Good thing you recorded it, you have got to have a forward facing camera to CYA.
I had a distracted lady in a minivan pull out into my lane of travel last year and she hit my rear duals of my flatbed totaling her car but thank goodness she was not hurt. When the OHP saw the footage the officer immediatley determined she was clearly at fault and cited her but might have gone different without the footage since we commercial drivers are always suspect first, we have to be diligent in protecting our @sses!
sucks for the lady up in Chicago. you did the right thing Tim. Maybe you can help her find a door or someone who can fix it and work with her on it.

Always call the cops in an accident you don’t have to pursue with insurance but keeps you from getting sued after the fact great what you did 100 bucks in lights isn’t worth ruining someone’s worse day but protect yourself also I was rearended by an uninsured driver in a snow storm it only broke a weld on my flatbed that I built and she was on hard times called the cops they made a report and I fixed the bed and moved on but kept me from getting sued it’s hard now a days to trust people

I believe if you wouldn't have turned up the engine to 1,000 horsepower and left them at 450 or 500 what they came out of the factory you wouldn't have as much trouble with them when you start putting a thousand horsepower 700 to 800 horsepower you're going to run into problems

NO! Truck, car or person is to block a lane to stop others from going ahead. I was held back with my family because a goose neck decided it was his job to block the left lane because everyone had to exit because the Interstate had a sink hole. He had it backed up for about 10 miles. He did not care that we had an emergence and needed to go ahead. Let the law do the traffic control!

I live Les than ten miles from where you were crashed into ITS the law to have insurance in Illinois but people still don’t have insurance I was T boned by someone who came from a side street that they had a stop sign and no insurance if you don’t have insurance coverage DON’T drive

I know I’m late to the party but I would have 100% gotten an accident report and witness statements from that accident. Even with the footage she can still make allegations against you.

I don't know if it's the camera angle but the top of your steering wheel looks to be higher than your shoulders, forward vision must be terrible.
I would fix the car, if she starts to say she in pain tell her go thru your insurance. You gave her a break let’s pray she’s a good person and does not lawyer up
Good job. Cant type to describe the goods and bads. I will say immidetialy. Take photos. With phone. It keeps a time stamp of all photos.. Because the story could have changed. Ive been theough it. .. Blamed for the accident. And cops felt it was my fault.. And because i took photos the other driver was caught filing false report of accident.. Dont wait jump out take time stamped photos.
Poor lady I definitely know what it feels like to live paycheck to paycheck with small kids. No matter how much you work there never enough

MY Insurance had to fix MY Truck due to damage someone else caused due an accident that WAS NOT my fault & they didnt have any DL or insurance .
Those of us with Insurance are paying dearly for those driving around without any insurance !
That was 2001 . I still hadnt forgot about it.

Well driving without insurance that's not legal I would have called the police and they would have get her with no insurance she would have gotten a ticket then I would have told the officer that your not going to go after her for the damages that you will pay too fixed your trailer. What if she gets in a axadent and riley hurt someone or killed someone and she is driving without insurance
