    This Blade Fusion 360 is very stable but this is a "Level 3" RC helicopter. You should definitely put in some stick time either on Real Flight 9.5 or have experience with other RC collective helis! There is no direct model in Real Flight 9.5s for the Blade Fusion 360 so I have been using the Blade Fusion 270 on the simmulator. I also have heavy stick time using other other CP helis such as the: Nano, MCPx, Blade 130, Blade 230 and the Blade Fusion 180. Please see my other videos on those RC helis!

    Funny that the 360 is 3s but the Fusion 180, which is half the size, runs with a 4s.

      How does the bailout work?
      If its inverted and bailout switch is hit, will it turn upside down and climb till you have time to recover?

    does idle up 1 still use the "Smart" mode or are you in full control? I just got into rc helicopters recently with a blade nano s3 smart rtf. So I'm still looking into getting a better transmitter as the mlp6dsm that comes with the kit is pretty basic.

    • @JonsRC
      @JonsRC  Před 2 lety

      Idle up 1 or Intermediate mode does not restrict bank angles. Unlike Normal mode, the heli does not return to straight and center when you release the sticks. Also, the Nano S3 is awesome! That is the heli that taught me how to fly in 3D mode!

    John hope you and your Dad can help me out. Fisrt time i bind my fusion 360 to my nx10 radio it crash. i fix everything up installing new blades and linkages and notice the same incident on the first flight. I just realized the first flight & latest flight somehow the control sticks keep trying to adjust the heli, i'm having a hard time. Moving the sticks it will balance and the heli keeps tilting till i let go the sticks. Feels like no gyro trying to correct the heli. Please help me out? Thank you

    Hello, Jon:
    Would you share your PID Settings with us? When I received my 360 Smart Heli the Roll and Pitch Settings did not match. Not even close. For Swashplate degrees per sec I have 270. For Roll PID' I have 75 75 and 7. For Pitch PID's I have 60 60 and 14 Agility is set at 95. My Tail Rotor Degrees per sec is 550 Start 85 Stop 100 PID's are 85 95 and 95. I am using a DX 6 Radio and the radio Settings are per tbe manual of the 360 Smart Heli. Thank You, Jon.

    Jon please help me out. I'm a newbie flying m2 v2 for sport only basic flying in normal mode. I bought also a blade fusion 360 smart 3s. I just want to know if this heli 360 capable frlying in normal mode like the m2 v2? Thanks Jon when you have time.

    • @JonsRC
      @JonsRC  Před rokem +1

      Hi! Yes. The Fusion 360 has SAFE
      modes. So, in Normal mode, you get limited bank and pitch. The Fusion 360 can also be programmed with Panic or Recovery mode. It mentions all this in the manual. Just make sure you follow the programming for your your transmitter to the letter as instructed in the manual!

    Interesting, i have the 230s would love a larger heli that was as easy to fly, Is this the case?.

    • @JonsRC
      @JonsRC  Před 2 lety +1

      The Fusion360 was the next size heli I flew right after the 230s. The 360 is not as easy to fly as the Blade 230 but for a much bigger bird, she is definitely more docile than I expected. If you can fly the Blade 230 with confidence, you shouldn’t have issues with the 360 (once you get past the fear factor)!

      @@JonsRC i wonder what exactly you mean by saying that 360 is not as easy as 230? Usually people say that bigger helis are easier to fly because they are more stable due to it's size and weight. So it is very surprising to hear that smaller 230 is easier.

    • @JonsRC
      @JonsRC  Před 11 měsíci

      @@cutefox8319 Hi! Yes I do agree with you! However, the Blade 230S with it's modern 6-axis gyro is a very very stable helicopter. I can fly the Blade 230S almost hands free. The modern gyro electronics on this little helicopter allows a beginner with minimal skills to start learning how to hover. My dad, who is a newbie flyer can fly the Blade 230S without much effort. Not so with the Fusion 360! The Fusion 360 is definitely not a first heli in my honest opinion. The 360 is fast and very sensitive to stick input. You need constant stick input on the Fusion 360 to hover her. If you are already familiar with 6-channel helis, you will find the 360 is very stable. But if the Blade 230S poses a challenge for an RC heli pilot, then the 360 will be even more of a challenge!

    can you fit a bigger battery in it

    • @JonsRC
      @JonsRC  Před rokem +1

      The manual only mentions to use a 3s 2200mah and not a range. The issue is that the canopy is already difficult to put on with the recommended LiPo. I don’t think you can install the canopy with a bigger battery without having to make adjustments to the canopy holes or don’t fly with one.
