This is the one and only and the largest hotel in Mount Cook and due to it's unique Stunning Panoramic view through the rooms and Restaurants, this has been a famous tourist attraction in Mount Cook Village.
This hotel comprised with Alpine Restaurant, Sir Edmond Hillary Cafe, Sir Edmond Hillary Alpine center, Souvenir Shop, Museum and a Planetarium which runs short videos during the day.

I stayed at the hermitage hotel in the 80's .beautiful hotel. Views are so beautiful especially the glaciers.loved it.will never forget it

Great video. From the Hermitage at 1.58 you look DIRECTLY at Aorangi Mt Cook. Right there. A great place to stay.

Yes it is. One of the best Hotels and a unique place in New Zealand. As remember we stayed 4 nights at Hermitage. View was amazing and we felt we can touch the mountain range. 🙂
