@@sjadon5808 Its not the same, a raider is going to notice that all the doors are opening and closing in the same pattern over an over again. Raiders are not dumb they'll prob realise its a contraption. If you're using the app, you can do it like you actually would. And the best part? You can log in.
Imagine if you could pair the surveillance cameras to the app, would be amazing

If the Base is in snow, you could setup sprinklers throughout your Base and when you're getting offline raided, you could try to make their lives a living hell by turning on the sprinklers

Have all the fire places in front of hidden shotgun traps. They cant place firepits cause no TC access. They can try and take armor off or warm up by runnning to a fire place but even if they somehow happen to have wood on them in the middle of a raid they die anyways lol.

I believe there will be a seismic alarm so when your base gets hit by a rocket or there’s an explosion that triggers the alarm it will notify you as well😁

Really I'm just glad I can turn off my SAM Site on my way back to base. Flip the switch, turn off Sammy, land and flip switch to turn it back on.
yeah, it'll be easier from the app, but you can already do that if you want without it, via the transmitter, broadcaster & receiver.

@@Hemphlev1985 Yeah, you can already activate traps via electricity and HBPFs. This does make the RF sensor useless and make offline raiding a lot less reliable though

@@lucassherfey6728 RF is still useful if you need multiple devices in-game to communicate with each other wirelessly, if you have multiple bases or an alliance you can send an SOS signal and the other can receive it.

I wanted rust ever since I started watching rust videos but I just can't because of me saving money and helping my family out and now i cant wait when i get my money sorted so i can buy this game.
Rust is a cool game man but save your money, the videos are much better than the actual game. I've played off n on forever and all new players have this notion that gameplay is gonna be awesome. In reality there's alot of downtime and death, and that's about it, for a looong time till you get better, then it's just downtime. Rust CZcamsrs put in HOURS upon HOURS trying to get some funny clips or frags. And you have to think about your PC.
When I first started it was terrible but, I was having fun never got a base down till the second day it gonna really suck when you first start not to mention if you have never played mouse and keyboard that's how I started but, I kept playing and got better, so all I'm saying is your gonna have to put a good amount of time in too, and I hope you are doing well and your family
Lol don’t listen to these guys, they probably have 50 hours. Rust is only $35 and is a great game.if you have friends then the game is more enjoyable

@@haawkler3241 U can do that by placing many landmines on twig internally, using stability to make it look like a legit base from the outside. The remote triggering of such is another chapter I am investigating still :).

Omg! I can now disable my Sam sites when flying over them. I used to have RF pagers, receivers etc to do that. I think the most OP thing is activating the doors for your turrets into an online raid. This will give you time

Not that I've build it, but basically I think you could already be behind a computerstation in game and use a remote session on your phone to change camera's. Ofc not as smooth and easy :).

Guys, think bigger. Obviously it de-spawns and of course its a timer. Thats why it would be great to have devs work on it so you can detonate remotely from rust+.
It'd be cool if we could put cameras down and see live footage from our phones. We could use trap bases at school/work lol
Not sure how I feel about this because there are times when what happens on Rust, needs to stay on Rust and I will find out about it later lol. But since we can't stop it, there is one thing that you mentioned that I feel this game really needs... a remote explosive. Even if it is a bean can with an igniter - aka not really reliable at all.
Also, and not linked to this app, I would like to see them do to the door controller what they did for the memory cell - seperate inputs. Open, close and toggle. The relative complexity of the circuit I have to build just so I can have a single switch that closes all my doors lockdown style when I leave the base, log out or am under attack can be negated by that one single change. So ye, selfish reason but it makes sense to do it...

Okay, so with the new loud speaker and the smart timer you could technically initiate a self destruct sequence if the raiders got into main loot or as soon as TC was destroyed from your phone you press self destruct lol.
A countdown starts 10 - 9 -8 - 7 - 6 - 5 - 4 -3 - 2 - 1 - C4 starts going off and blows all the vending machine loot rooms. GG boys the ultimate despawn.

@@rrockstar1584 Yes there is an item called door controller i believe and it closes and opens doors that are activated by heartbeat sensor, switch, etc.
they should add a feature where you can look at your cctv cameras on your phone. Will reduce the amount of offline raids I struggle with on a daily basis lol

I had no clue tesla coils were this usefull. I am going to start getting more into electricity now.
I've got tons of electricity tutorials. I even have a video where I made a Tesla instakill machine. Press a button and everyone ln the room insta dies regardless of health or armour.
You could imagine someone would tried and make a replicated apps that made you log in with steam and steal your account informations, watch out!

Don't hold your breath on CCTV functionality. They are exploring it but it is by no means something easy or guaranteed to come to Rust+ or any app for that matter.

this has so much fucking potential, make a base of which it looks empty except a loot room, watch your phone offline waiting until the heartbeat triggers and taser them all, or a self destruct sequence, or fuck even a sacrifical pit... so many possiblities... if anything is going to get me back into rust its this. this has so much potential

Yes but it's a rather complicated circuit. Check out my 3rd most recent video about spotlights, that's the circuit you'd use except minus the light and add a tesla

I have an awesome base idea. Have a ton of rooms but each one has a ceiling lined with Tesla coils. Or make a trap base that when you walk through the front door two garage doors will open up and Tesla coils them death. You could also make a difficult to raid base with a ring of coils around the base.
Imagine is they made it so that if you had cctv set up you can access it from the app and see if your getting raided or whatever, there is so many ways you could use the app. 🤯
