Update:
Crouching only reduces vertical recoil for M249 and Semi Automatic weapons, apologies for showing an AK clip!
If you get a bandana skin (drop or buy on steam market) you can craft it right away!
However it does reduce weapon sway
they wont fix the laser/holo bug. if im not wrong that would make it so u had over 100% accuracy which doesn't make sense.
@@levis9240 they already said theyre fixing it on this upcoming force, and it does make sense because each gun has a accuracy of a number for say the ak has a 4, so it was make it around a 1.9 accuracy, but they might nerf holo and or laser to accommodate it so its not as busted

@Tamura77 I dont have as many hours only 2500 or so but a tip for you if you build bases with vending machines is that you can place small boxes on them. i think if there is any chunk/render update like roof bunkers and such it will destroy the small boxes but still cool way to have extra storage
To add to tip 7; campfire at the door can be used to see if someone is door camping you. If your solo your comfort should not be above 50%
*Bear rug has entered the chat*
No way.
Damn man i have 2k hours and i didn't notice that
Wow that's a BEAST tip
TIP 51: Hugging a wall while falling reduces fall damage
I have 500+ hours and only realised this
@@SgtSnowballs it's pretty helpful
What does this mean ? (I am not english thats why I dont understand)
@@999RezKo if you fall off a building and walk forward into it you will clip into the side and take less damage
@@999RezKo When you jump or fall off something high, look at the wall and walk into the wall while you are falling. This helps reduce fall damage on your player.

For new players :water is never a problem you’ll die so often your water will always be good enough to live
actually wrong
false
Don’t listen to this, you need a decent amount of water to be able to passive regen.
especially wrong when u need to feed on human meat since it will dehydrate u
Wrong you can run faster the more hydrated you are
You should mention the "Max shadow lights" setting which when set to 0, allows you to better see light illuminating through walls. Does wonders for seeing if people are online in their base too!
This is a great tip. My friend was running lowest game settings and I was running max. We were raiding a huge 10x10 block base on a 10x server. If it wasn't for him being able to see lights through walls we wouldn't have made it through the literal maze that was in there. Our last rocket blew right into their main loot room with TC and everything.
Since then I run that on lowest too
I knew all of the tips, just the 50 surprised me cause iv never figured that out myself
I dont understand number 50 i think it was a bug
Just started rust but i think number 50 was a bug that is currently patched
you've never figured out fun

I knew all of the tips in this one, but they are an excellent selection for actual new players
It was worth watching the whole thing just for the Ice pick tip.
the science king of rust is back
Tip 11 is the most important tip for me . I suppose my subconscious doesnt like losing gear so every time i get in a fight , the adrenaline kicks in for the worst . My fear of losing gear is what loses me fights 9/10 of the time
1 word

Russ is actually helped me learn to just let go and be laid back with shit. At the end of the day like you said everything's eventually getting wiped so there's no big deal to dying and losing your gear. At first I used to fucking rage every time I will get into a fight or I would come online and see I had been a flight rated but now it just means I get to start over and try again. It's kind of like dark souls I guess, learning to let go and not take it so hard made it way more enjoyable. I hope you can find it friend.
Good stuff! Im 40, n just built first pc, said goodbye to consol, n am having a blast on rust! Great tips man! Some cool stuff!
Tip from a veteran rust player, using an 8x or a 16x on a gun will exaggerate the recoil, but that also means when you take it off it will feel easier, I reccomend using an 8x to learn the basic patterns.
Some genuinely useful tips here and I'm only 4:30 in!
Lots of these tips and tricks videos often just have useless stuff but I'm actually learning a few things here. Nice :)
I'm glad you said something about "gear fear" because I have huge problem with that lol
Cool fact: the bear rug gives you 100% comfort when next to its head
Strating a Wipe Rush, my go to strategy.
Don't be afraid to pvp.
Gather stuff, stash them in a 2x1 or 2x2 base if you stay too long outside and have much loot.
Find a cave with a bucket elevator that has only 1 entrance to the bucket, no connected sides, no spike cave.
Seal the entrance with walls, put tc and sleeping bags inside.
Upgrade walls to hqm, then add/stack more walls until you get 5-6-7 HQM walls. The rest of the space is yours to use.
Find/research/use tech tree for basic but essential electricity components like: small/medium battery (or large if you find/have scrap). A branch, a switch, a solar pannel and a autoturret.
Put auto turret and gun at bucket elevator connect to battery.
Put 1 or 2 batteries outside in a 2x2 base to recharge at a solar pannel.
Change batteries and check them to be full before you go offline.
From here you are set, you have a strong safe place to put your loot, and you can build your big compound base and walls outside the cave.
To enter the base you have to suicide and jump inside the bucket hole.
Just preordered, watching this to get ready

Good luck. U will need it
Extremely helpful for newer players. I'll recommend this video for now on.
I love your video man, simple and fast explanations you got yourself a new sub, please make some more like these they are really helpful to new players like me.
The most useful bind is definitely crafting bandages.
thanks so much fir making this man i needed it lmao im a new layer and i somehow managed to get people to give me a jackhammer soo im having fun raiding
"followed channels: RATIRL" a man of culture here
This actually helped me a lot even tho I thought that I know everything I need to know. Thx dude
for hover loot i reccomend putting the bind to ur mouse buttons
As a rust veteran this is a good video especially the gear fear tip lmao no point in having guns to not go out with them
Your money aint worth a thing if you don't spend it
Lmao yea just receantly started and i have been just hoardin stuff and was afraid to leave my base with a regular bow because i was afraid of losing it
im terrible for that, i've been playing for years and every wipe, I'll have at least 5/6 full sets left, the loot in my base is usually enough to make another 10 or so sets. i basically only pvp with crossbows and right now there are probably 20 or so guns in my base. it's pretty terrible but i just get so much more pissed off when i die with stuff that's actually good.
Need to tell my teammate this bro
My only suggestion/criticism, everything else is pretty solid. Bear skin rugs, work brilliantly on ceilings, if you imagine a vertical line going through the head to the tail, you can get 100% comfort on your own with a heat source nearby, yeah, i mostly solo. :)
Yeah I usually put them on the ceiling and crouch on a furnace to maximize comfort. Thanks for the comment though!
New to Rust and you have some good tips here! Thanks for the videos man! Keep it up!
"Lose gear fear" that is me! why am i always to scared to lose my shitty revolver 😅😩
if you don't risk it you won't gain
@@komanheEthan exactly right, I need this mindset
we one time lost 5 lr and 2 m249 to raiders without shooting a single ammo with them :D
@@TurkishZombie mate 😅😅😅
Once you have a gun researched, feel free to use it whenever, because the real hard part is finding the first one. Crafting more Revolvers is easy.
Don't forget: if you turn max shadow lights to 0 in the graphics tab you can light your entire base with only 1 camp fire, and see whether or not there's stuff going on in another base. If this setting is set to anything but 0, then 1 stone wall or better is enough to not carry over the lighting effect.
you can easily learn recoil by having low sens, witch is true. but you can use the command : bind mouse1 "+attack2;+input.sensitivity x;input.sensitivity y;" featured in godrusts video. the x value represents the normal sensestivity, and y represent the downsight sensitivity. this helps anyone trying to perfect the spray pattern while not sacrificing your mobility.
an example of the command would be - ( bind mouse1 "+attack2;+input.sensitivity .45;input.sensitivity .4;" ) in this command .45 is the normal sens and .4 the downsight sens you can of course mix these upp. i use .28 as normal sens, and .15 as my downsight
High sens is better for spray
Keep up the good work and your channel will blow up soon
For your furnaces put a low wall and then a half wall and put rugs everywhere and place one over that Gap and you can still access your furnaces most of the time it goes unnoticed by raiders
awesome video my man earned another sub!!! Keep up the gud work!!
Great video thank you Tamura77 Rust, I really enjoyed it and learned a lot much appreciated ❤
pro tip: if you have anything you can place in the middle at your pc screen as a rosshair DO IT! it will help you if you a jump shooting whit bows and other stuff. also quik tapping whit python.
Also a Good tip: when youre near a desert you can Farm cactus vor cactus flesh and cloth
another tip:
if using eoka, spam reload while firing and 9 times out of 10 it should fire within the first 2 or 3 clicks. the last thing you want when sneaking up to grub someone with an eoka is the dreaded 9 click shot
I heard from someone if you position a wall wrong it’s called a “soft side” and people can throw spears and break them?
yes, the soft side is the side with the X on like on a twig wall
They hit it with spears etc. not throwing. It takes like 7 metal pickaxes to break a stone wall from soft side (and thats so cheap) also another tip, u can rotate the wall when you built it soon. But if you can not rotate it anymore, you can upgrade then rotate it
@@megas_pastrma8599 but soft side is on the inside of the base right? So you can’t Really break the wall unless you’re inside right? Which is kind of useless ?
Jmac the whole point is that some people don’t know about the soft side so they’ll build their base from the outside making all the wall’s soft sides face outward
@@TrentonStClair oh okay thanks I was just wondering I was sure what the soft side was
the bindings will be useful for next wipe, and as a "new" player with 200 hrs, i really liked this tips, will start spam eating and covering at pvp now!
When doing the water treatment parkour puzzle there is a tiny ledge around the wall of the tower you can use to break your fall
I’ve watched blooprint for many years now and been waiting for it to come out on console and I think I will be way ahead of everyone
Lol
That’s what you THINK... believe me that’s what I thought
I legit just got online raided and absolutely destroyed, so now im watching this video.
F
wanna play together
Digital are you a noob as well
@@trencough4 yeah lol
Approaching a small 10k hours, my rust rush list is as follows. and these are not in order of priority, they are all number 1 priority:
-External tc's completely surrounding your base before you build main to eliminate griefing
-secure base with decent raid cost / defensive attributes to control your land
-Large furnace / refinery sealed inside a build, protected from grubs
-small farm for food cloth and berries for efficient farming
-the best weapons and armor possible, put your best to use as much as possible to develop as quickly as possible
-all the scrap. T2 Tech tree for armor and clothes and T3 tech tree for instant cheap mp5 blueprint
-raid defense kits, equipment, raw materials and extra doors. everything you can think of to defend your base
-base in a good location, must be near: road, recycler, monument, trees, nodes, missing any 1 = bad spot
-best spot for base is top of any hill
-horses are op and learning to use them can make your life 10x easier with the travel time and extra inventory space. hide your horse well
-auto turrets and generators / electricity
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
I think the find a cave first with the bucket and seal of the entrance with stacked HQM walls strategy is better.
After you seal the cave you have to suicide to get inside the base this means raiders will have a hard time to get to your door offline.
Add a battery and a turret and charge them batteries outside and voilla: You have a fucking hard to raid operation center hidden from
the mainland eyes.
After that start to build your compound around and big base and walls.
This is actually a good tutorial, unlike a couple I've seen that was clearly made by some dudes who just purchased the game lol.
Thank you! Haven't seen you in a while, think you were one of the first youtubers I watched years and years ago :)
@@tamura77Rust that’s sick, keep posting stuff like this there’s definitely a large market for it right now.
wow I actually remember this map it was like the October 2020 Aus face punch 1 map
36: Faster sneak doesn't completely work as it makes sounds only people around can hear and not you for some reason, its kinda glitchy
correct
TIP 52: Scientist on the road will not shoot you if you just run up to them and start smaking them. I've done it dozens of times, but only with a rock for early game loot. (not sure if it works with other melees, but it should.
Funny
number 11 is a problem for me, im always paranoid of loosing my stuff because of my lack of skill
if you never practice with your weapons in real scenarios then you will never get better with them, dont hoard only expand
Best rust tips video I've seen yet
You rocketh!
Thanks for sharing mate!
Underrated channel, love your shit!
Personaly i didnt learn mutch myself but daim this is the best rust tips video i save ever seen
I agree and I would Love to know all those tips when i started playing the game 👍👍👍

Damn it, I knew all the tips except 50! Got me on that one chief!
after watching this you earned your sub and like
I feel realy fucked off about what they did to the farming, like it don't feel worth it no more, good video as always 👍
whait what u mean?
What do u mean
When did they change farming?
It's use to be fun, now Berries only thing worth growing that's it dud a fancy system and they not bothered adding any more to it
Just go into 2x 5x or 10x servers
Great video man, not to many good tips videos out like this.

Nice. #50 is the best.
TIP 52: SHIFT + MIDDLE MOUSE an item = SPLIT INTO THIRDS
This is what I was looking for!
1:03 yes sir
These tips are great, good job!
Number 52 if your comfort level goes higher than 50 and you're the only one in the base that means somebody else's outside most likely door camping you
Knew everything but this was still a great video. Well put together
TIP 51: Running at a scientist with a melee weapon is the easiest way to kill them most of the time you kill them before they even shoot you, and if they do its once maybe twice.
Underrated dude. Claps.
last tip is the best
New tip for your list, Don't make a tier 2 or 3 just because you can, only make them once you have important bps for those tiers since they're useless unless you have bps from those tiers, this is so you can spend your scrap on learning more tier 1 bps that help you out more on the long run than just speedrunning tier 2 bps when you dont have enough scrap to go through the tree
Another thing, can you do a tier list video on components based on how important they are on wipe day and a week into wipe? that would be pretty informative to the audience that you're trying to show this video to
I was trying to tell my friends this shit
How do I take autorun off entirely. I don't want it anymore. But it's still there
bind x " "
This will unbind x
Basic tips everyone should know. My number one addition to tips is always, 'If you can be happy naked with a bow, you can avoid getting tilted when you lose everything'. A *_lot_* of people get really upset when they get offlined and lose everything... 👍 'd

tip 50 is refreshing
Ikr some people need to take a chill pill when playing
I don’t play rust but to see if people are door camping with the campfire you put it on and if it’s over 50% then someone’s outside
