Say hello to my new mic! Itâs surprisingly good for a budget Amazon mic lol. Also Iâm obsessed with the quality of my photography camera. Iâm using my Canon R6 instead of my Sony A6100. I used it in my recent home decor video as well and Iâm loving it!
Know where I live it's very hard to find stuff like you do the only time we can do that is if it's October and it's Halloween đâ¤
My favourite part was when you said the Anna (Frozen) cosplay boots were a âcultural thingâ đ love the video though I promise đ
Omg hahaha 𤣠oooops - shows how much I know about frozen - which is nothing đ
@@DressMeUpScotty to be fair, I only know it because Iâm friends with a lot of Anna cosplayers. But it gave me a good laugh!
Tbf they were probably meant to look cultural from Anna's part of the world
@@starlite156 Good point!
@@cpt_eleanore haha yeah and I think I was bamboozled because usually kids costume pieces are crap quality but these boots felt nice đ so I didnât suspect Halloween costume at all.
Wow your thrift stores are treasure troves ! I'm jealous, where I live there is only a charity shop which isn't bad but finding this type of aesthetic is definitely more difficult lol.
The people that run a booth the NorCal Renn Faire also run a Dickens Faire around mid-November to mid-December. It has more steam punk but it's pretty cool for an indoor event with a dance floor.
Ooo Iâll have to check that out!!
Pretty sure the "cultural" kids boots were Anna's boots from Frozen lol
Love the ideas! Can't wait to try this
Knox Rose is at Targets. I'm drawn to it naturally.
I am SUCH a sucker for Mossimo bags, and did not actually know they were from Target - I find them almost every single time I hit up the GoodWill bins, and absolutely have a habit of snatching them. That green one was fantastic
Mossimo has some great stuff! I love that backpack, I was surprised it didnât sell at the show!
The bilbo bag!
Isnât it awesome?? Love it!
Love all of the creative ideas!
Ty! âĽď¸
Got myself a blush pink blouse and skirt thrifting today- both everyday fairycore style and for medieval fairs later in the year. The Robin Hood festival in Nottingham is a great one in the UK

Literally have that belt that she took. Have to dig it out of my closet!
You really do have amazing thrift stores where you live!
Lol I guess my stores spoil me!
The Doctor Who reference!!!!â¤
I love and i would like live in US to buy a lot of beautiful peaces.
And sorry for my terrible English đ
Do you think youâll still make some skirt hikes and such for another show in the future? I vaguely remember it getting mentioned in a previous show but I canât remember which lol
I might try to make a few today if I have time. I have a few belts I can recycle and I have the rest of the materials so letâs hope I can get it done!!
I always love a good belt. Unfortunately, sourcing plus sized ones can be a pain. I wind up using too small stretch belts to fake an empire waist on various things.
Knox Rose is from Target
Oh yeah! I totally forgot. I donât encounter that brand as often.
I really want to go thrift shopping. so. friggin. bad!
Cool đ
I'm early for once! â¤
Haha youâre first!
i wish i could get a weddign dress for 10 bucks X'D

Yeah... no belts for me, tyvm. Lets just say I'm rounder than I'd like to be. No belts đŤ
Belts arenât for everyone for sure!
why arebyall obsessed and concerned over the brand of clothing....
Idk about anyone else but Iâm not âconcernedâ with what brand something is when thrifting (unless it suggests the quality) but I inform people what the brand some pieces are so that if they are searching online they can be more easily found since a lot of online secondhand shops only list by brand and not by style. And in recent years some specific brands have had collections that have lots of pieces that are easily worked into Renaissance and fantasy costumes even though theyâre âcontemporaryâ, which is useful to know since a historical costume piece will be a lot harder to find secondhand and a lot more expensive brand new. People who are new to dressing up might be less inclined to invest in those pieces and those who are on a budget definitely canât. So itâs more informational to make things accessible.
