  • Germans are always hard-working and disciplined. At least that's the widespread cliché. But is it true? Euromaxx reporter Josephine Günther wants to find out how hard-working Germans really are in everyday life. In doing so, she is confronted with her own conscience, her inner German, who is constantly reminding and correcting her. How industrious are Germans really in the end?
What do you think of discipline and diligence? Let us know in the comments!

Why are you trying to convince everyone that you lack those virtues for which the whole world respects you? That's your competitive advantage.

SOme yes...For example efficiency...I have lived in Germany since 2006 and Germans take so much longer to get things done than AMericans...Best example is the Dr.'s office...I have five different doctors and not one of them do the y answer the telephones..If you need an appointment or anything you have to physically go there....If you need something done...expect to wait weeks or months

Yes, you are confusing order with efficiency. Order is very important and can create problems with efficiency. I do agree with that.

    stereotype.
They're mostly taking their time with low efficiency by mentioning "we have rules, we are disciplined".
