How does the Average German vacation compare to YOUR vacation? 😏🌞
I petition DW to grant vacation days to Clare Trelawny-Gower as well.
🌞🌞
"A quarter of Germans say they've been embarassed by other Germans on while holiday". That's only one quarter of the same stat for Brits 🙃
Do we need the do the Average British Holiday? 🤣🇬🇧
And this quarter of Germans is Germans like me - Germans with ancestors that weren't German.
I totally love Clare Trelawny-Gower!
You will find Germans on every warm and sunny beach in Europe, and many other places around the world. And in my experience they are much more friendly and outgoing than at home.
True. I went to the french Caribbean island of Guadeloupe and found more people that spoke german than english. One even from a town 30 minutes away from where im from. Small world.
Not to be offensive, but this sounds like you’re describing a wild animal species 😂
@@Katlego9825 Every last person on the planet, no matter where they're from, are animals.
I am a Brazilian married to a German. When it’s winter here,he loves to go to the beach or swimming at home (southwest) because it looks like his spring season specially in the northwest-Brazil ,where he really likes to travel. December, January in Germany is my favorite season because I really can’t stand the hot weather here. We’ve been In Sardinia,Rome last may and June and guess what? Germans everywhere! 🇧🇷❤️🇩🇪
it's the first time I noticed Michael's bicolor beard 😮my dad's beard was one colour and his mustache another. I find it cool.
Germans in the Canaries - speaking German. In 1974, when I was 19 and living/working in Germany, it was challenging for me to improve my German, as Germans wanted to practice their English by talking with me. However, I spent a few weeks in the Canary Islands that year and discovered that Germans preferred to speak German with me there, and hence my German improved while I was in the Canaries. I also socialized with Austrians and Swiss while in the Canaries, and they preferred to speak English and not German. John, northern California
Great episode
best series ever, from me and my german english-learning friends!
Thank you, Tony ❤️
Stunning ...!!! Waiting for more ... !!!
More to come!❤️😁
What resulted in you being "stunned" ? Indians generally have strong white worship mentality. Austronesian DNA Bengalis (short stub, skinny fat, partly mongoloid featured) are even a few notch more.
Thing is while trying to cope up with the expectations while within Germany and NOT in vacation, an average person will stress out to meet those expectations as best as one could. Inevitably this stress buildup needs a venting, hence those much needed "planned" vacations. Also, outside Germany, they can feel a bit more relaxed, as is evidenced almost everywhere which accounts for the niceness for most part.
3:45 was funny!
that was amazing we need more average germans
There’s 80 million of them in Deutschland 😁
@@dweuromaxx nice
@@dweuromaxx As a german that surprisingly made me laugh
I definitely know how the Spanish feel.Your videos are so fun❤
Thank you! :D
Fridge-magnets .. the whole fridge door at my parents home is filled with the weirdest magnet souveniers, you can think of.
And we (4) children of them do the utmost possible to let their weird collection grow every year 😂
I've met Germans in a mountainous country as well!
Which one? 😎
I meet them everywhere - Cuba, Mexico, Cyprus, Turkey, Canada, and while hiking in Portugal and Spain. All age groups.
👍 - auch für den YT-Algo! 😊
👍 - also for the YT algo! 😊
Heaven forbid you stay up later than 11pm!
Nothing initially comes to mind that is better than meeting Germans on a Mediterranean beach.
German tourists are always the first to the dining room and the swimming pool.
❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
dear DW please give your employees vacation days
Don’t worry, Real-Life Clare has vacation days 😅
The average German could easily be replaced with the average Japanese. They both share so many similar traits and characteristics, down to wearing socks with sandals. The Japanese even took it one step further and designed their tabi socks so it can be worn with thong sandals. Socks with sandals are hygienic, comfortable, and healthy - “fashion” be damned. 👍
Defend socks and sandals! 🩴
@@dweuromaxx socks and sandals deserves mama's chancla lol
Clare has now surpassed Rachel as my favourite DW presenter.
When you live somewhere cold, vacation somewhere hot! Also just noticed the beard is two colors? I thought it was explained in the skit but it's not.
Truth ✅ haha - it’s just how the natural beard is!
I heard that Canary Islands are quite popular among Germans for vacation.
Yep, they are! Shall we go there next time?🌞
one big Question: will Germany ever give back Mallorca to Spain someday?
Yes, when it gets too hot because of global warming. After all they are not made for heat !!
When the last Schlager has been played
0:35 Doesn't "Reiseweltmeister" translate to "world champions of travel" rather than "champions of world travel"?
Potato potato…🤣🤔
Aber das Fremdschämen ist auch geil 😂😂😂
I'm starting to think by "Average German" you meant to say the Median German 🤨
Tomato tomato 🤣🤔
Malle = 17th Bundesland!!1!
You need vacation days
Wait, his beard has 2 colors :)?
When they come to the usa
hi
Hello :)
Saufen, viel Saufen...Und Sonnenliegen mit Badetüscher reservieren.
Apparently Germans deny the last one…🌞
@@dweuromaxxI don't go to pools anyway! I find that stupid.😂
The question this mini-doku does not answer is, why one would ever elect to dye one half of their facial hair.
It’s au naturel, baby!
Germans are most hated tourists in my country :D
Where are you from?😎
And which country is it... They are maybe "hated" but on the other way they bring money to your local economy
Gosh you've never met Chinese tourists. Look them up, it will be fun.
@@jamesdoyle5405 yep ...sometimes fun,but somtimes a bit disgusting

All souvenirs are made in China.
Is Michael gay?
Michael should be aware of how his vacations carry an environmental, cultural and economical impact: from the CO2 of the plane to the displacement of local populations. Gentrification is not “cute” or fun
Ok
