I don't know where you live, but libraries are starting to do e-libraries. You can check out books on your phone, computer, or tablet. It was a nice thing for me when I didn't have a car to go to the library.
I work in an academic library, and even though we don't have a lot of YA, it's super easy for us to get them through interlibary loan (and a lot of students do this; can't say how many copies of TFIOS I've seen come in). Nothing beats Amazon for new releases, though!
There are so many reasons I want to live in the US, but book-buying is probably on the top of the list. A new hard back costs here 50$ and paperback 25$. Shipping from amazon costs more than the book!! So... I guess what I'm trying to say is... Will you adopt me?

If you have an ereader (or just your computer I suppose) a lot of municipal libraries do ebook lending now, and then you don't have to go to the physical library to get a book.
I love your videos! Seeing a new video by you makes my day. I was just wondering, do you have a kindle? My family has a Prime subscription and my mom and I both have a kindle. With Prime you can borrow books on it for free. There is a certain list but it's still great and a nice way to save some money. Just wondering!

Sadly, no. Libraries aren't well subsidized by the state, so they have to charge to keep opened. I don't mind to pay a little, but every year it's more expensive :/ Still, the fee is 3 times cheaper than the price of a book, that are also way more expensive than in the US.
I have amazon student, which is free for the first 6 months when you have a college email address! But, personally I really like it, I use amazon all the time.
