You should have a through axle bolt that will either have two nuts, one on either side, or an internally threaded Allen bolt, one on each side. I hope this helps, and I am sorry for the delay.

Great question, thank you for asking. Some have a through axle; these are on higher-end bikes, while others still have a nut and washer.
