I was there that night. The thing people need to understand is GB / England - whatever you prefer - have always held their own even in a loss. I was born in Australia and ultimately that is arguably their penultimate sport. Rugby league here is so much smaller behind soccer particularly.

I like how the commentators say their team has done extra time at training to turn around their bad ends to a game, I think it has more to do with what country they play in the NRL is a very high standard and so is our 2nd tier comps NSW and QLD cups
