It’s fun watching legends play their last tests. Joey and BK and a couple others here. I recently watched the 99 Anzac test. It was the last one for langer, Lazo, pearl and Daley. Just crazy to think all those guys stepped away in 99 and many of the guys who took their spot step away in this game and the guys who took their spots all became legends too. Seriously imagine going just at halfback Sterling-langer-johns-Thurston. That’s 30 years of mercurial greatness.

I did not watch this test match live but had to download it in China, Guangzhou City and watch in my Hotel Room. What a match it was. Both teams gave everything, but the Aussies have a reason to play so that resulted in the score margin. Great game, what a transition too, as it was Johns' last game and Thurston's first game ever. One immortal bows out and the other was born. Still the best KANGAROOS.
2006 will be remembered a year of redemption for the Australia ARL and Australia would go on to win the Tri Nations tournament to regain the Tri Nations championship later in 2006 at the end of the 2006 NRL season
