About the SONG:
We're halfway through the Nylon String series, and I decided to slip this song into the mix. 🎶 It hails from a different time, for a different purpose, yet it arrived whole, untouched by critique or endless adjustments, in under an hour⌛️-just like the other songs in the series.
A dear friend asked me to perform at his wedding, and without much thought, I promised to craft a piece just for them and their special day. 🎸 Unsure of where to begin, I settled on the classic wedding song guitar key: G Major. 🎵 From there, I just tried to let the melody take shape naturally, guided by my admiration for them and the weight of the occasion, following the same intuitive process I've embraced for the rest of these songs.
Throughout this, I was thinking a lot about how all of the books and movies we consume are only about the start of a relationship. 📚 Some about the lead up to a wedding. 💍 But then the credits roll right after the wedding day and they never really show the full picture. 🎬 I don’t think that marriage is about the fairytale often portrayed-it's a commitment to attempt to walk together through the twists and turns along the path. 🚶♂️ It's easy to romanticize the wedding day, but the truth is, it's just the beginning of a trip. 🌟 There will be highs and lows, and we must be careful not to place undue pressure on partners to complete us.
We're all flawed, and marriage shouldn’t be about fixing each other but about embracing our imperfections and trying to grow together. 🌱 We must try to be mindful not to burden our partners with unrealistic expectations. Instead, we should approach partnership in a way that lets both individuals thrive 🌳 independently while supporting each other through the highs and lows.
As my friends prepared to tie the knot, I was thinking about how loneliness can be a natural part of the human experience and marriage doesn’t completely eliminate it. 🤝 Rather than fearing it, they could find comfort in knowing that they'd navigate it together. 💑 True partnership isn't about eradicating loneliness but about being there for each other, even in the midst of often needed solitude. 🌌 It's about finding strength in vulnerability and learning to Be Lonely Together. 🎵 🎧 🎶 🎸 🎼

Awesome thanks man! Been on a path right now to improve my tone and clarity in my playing AND beef up my video game. I bought a camera glider and have a 3 axis gimbal camera and trying to use them both together for some movement effects. Also learning more about color grading has been fun! See you soon man!!

Beginning kind of reminds me of O! Holy Night. Well in any case, it has a Christmasy vibe.
Love the harmonics starting at 2:30. Those are tough to pull off on nylon!
So true nylon string harmonics are so hard to get clear. I take for granted how loud and clear they can be on steel string
