So the singing style is definitely different from what we hear in their music but I wouldn't mind hearing their voices like this for a mini album. Not that I don't like their music now but we dint usually get to hear them be powerful like this and I love it!
They do this type of song only for the promotion of the Tournament. Their style of their music are still there.

As an avid league player and newjeans fan, this was such a great collab! Really refreshing to hear them try such a different style and I definitely feel the emotions surfing, I even listen to this in game sometimes and it does really hype you up. Thanks PD for the reaction!
Hanni's high notes in the last chorus are INCREDIBLE, MY GOD. My bias absolutely tore UP there.
I'm not a NewJeans fan and don't listen to them (except when I was in love with Hype Boy), but this? THIS? I've been obsessed since it was released and have listened to it 5392394 times. It's so grand yet also ethereal at the same time and their voices sound amazing.

I can tell you're kinda familiar with LoL, but just wanted to note: KDA was a project group, much like Heartsteel this year (which I highly suggest you watch, EXO's Baekhyun is a "member"). New Jeans sang the anthem of this Worlds event, and the video is very very similar to the ones of previous years. The anthem and the project groups are quite different, one is mainly for the ingame cosmetics (KDA+Heartsteel skins), the other is for the "show", so the anthem has, I believe, higher production.
Also, regardless of reacting and this channel, if you like this type of music, if I'm not mistaken this was written by one of the people that wrote Arcane's soundrack, which is an amazing show and has great music.

Like last year and this year's storytelling for worlds was insane and moving. The memorable thing about the Worlds for the past 2 years are the match teaser's storytelling

Hi PD! I really like your commentaries. Also, Baekhyun participated in a collaboration group, like the male version of K/DA, called Heartsteel. Their song is called Paranoia, and was presented at LOL Worlds opening ceremony also. The music video is a lot of fun. Maybe you’d like to check it out….
I know nothing about games except I okay Minecraft but when this dropped and then Baekhyun’s collab with Heartsteel, I had to learn more. All I knew was that Faker was the best player ever but when learned about Deft, it brought me to tears after I went back to watch it again. What I have come away with is Riot Games has such good music.

The Deft story is just one for the ages. You had to have been there to really appreciate the music video. It was just the most emotional worlds ever with the most banger games. The 2023 worlds pales in comparison to this one imo. Pedro and theshy arc was great tho.
I agree it's great and all but I don't think 2023 pales in comparison. T1 shounen arc goes way crazier, Faker gets injured, they go 1-7 almost missing worlds, dismantling the entire LPL roster. A king who lost his crown on the way back up, doing the same play that beat them against the same player who did it to him, they we're up against super teams despite having a roster of only one veteran.
@@hestiapurganan8367 2023 pales in comparison because the games were less competitive I guess. Last year we had silver scrapes galore and my heart pumped out of my chest for most of them.

At first, I was really jealous because this song was meant for Ateez. This song was written for Ateez, but then I realized that Newjeans had beautiful vocals. Newjeans weren't a bad choice, they did it justice. And saying justice, just reminds me of Death note, which is also one immortal and unbeatable anime series. Death note is unbelievable, man. This song is good for anime too. I watched some anime music videos which had this song as the background music.

The song's 🔥 but I leaned towards an AI COVER with AESPA's. It sounded more AESPA's song than New Jeans. Also i felt this sobng fits Le Sserafim's more than NewJeans. But that's just me 😅

Warning: opinion ahead.
Ever since hearing this song I have felt that NewJeans has been written into a corner and is being held back by their own image. I just wish they were allowed to explore their range as singers and performers like this more often. I personally don’t really like NewJeans’ musical style, it just doesn’t really engage me and all their songs have a very similar sound to them. I find that the groups and artists I like most are the ones that are free to explore and experiment with their sound, i.e., Day6,Dreamcatcher, Stray Kids, Ateez, Xdinary Heroes, WOODZ, and even G-Idle and BTS to some extent.
Not nj style, still wondering why riot choose them. And the performance quite disapointing.
they did amazing and the whole world seems to think so stop trying to be different little girl. Disappointing? Go do better than you uglyass untalented nobody, riot obv chose them for a reason and it does not have to be their style. They're stepping out of the box people like you try to put them in and showing how versatile of a group they are and they did amazing
