Personally met Sean at Skins Training Camp in Ashburn Virginia his rookie year..... very approachable and soft spoken.... signed everything I had Rookie Jersey, Authentic Helmet....took photos... he was very selfless with the time he spent with my nephew and I... every year after his rookie year we continued to attend training camp, and yes, he remembered us and was just as approachable. My point is..... Not Only was he an unbelievable athlete/ superstar that luckily played on our favorite team, but he also made time for us, which made him even more endearing to us as fans. I'll NEVER forget those August Training Camps, and Seans kindness...... I'm now 52 years old....I still hold those photographs and everything he signed very close because those are the things that the media and most people did not know about him at the time. I was fortunate and blessed..... he WILL ALWAYS be my favorite Redskins player..... Sean was also shot on my birthday..... somehow I'll always feel linked to this amazing person/ athlete for so many reasons no matter how brief or long our interactions were..... he will ALWAYS BE GREATLY MISSED.....IMO he revolutionized the Safety position and would have been a HOF Inductee without question.

And when someone impacts the game as he did at safety, it's special. Being that far from the start of an offensive play but having that much impact is a truly special thing to watch. This young man was my hero when i was playing LB/S in high school. His whole life was dedicated to football and family. His size, athletism and hard hitting ability was what drew me to him. But his work ethic, drive, outlook, and family life made him the man i respected even to today. Thanks Sean, i hope youre resting well.

Bro Sean Taylor was such a 1 in a million player. Im very glad that i got to grow up and watch him snatch other players souls. The hit in the pro bowl on brian mooreman still ranks as one of the greatest hits of all time. Its like damn even in the pro bowl, my guy is still going full speed every play and just smacking people. It just always seemed like he was always making plays. He absolutely deserves to be in the HOF for sure. What a tragic loss, rest in paradise Sean. 🙏

Damn just realized he only played 3 years...i remember being 24 watching my big plasma tv and seeing on the ticket that sean taylor died...i was in shock man. He was fast enough to play safety, athletic enough to be a nickel corner with the heart and aggression enough to play linebacker...just a complete player man that was building up his game IQ. He was just coming into his own & getting a grasp on the game as well as evolving into a family man and a father. RIP brother

I’m a lifelong Cowboys fan and despise the Washington team and it’s owner (as it should be!), but one must respect truly great talent and great heart and character.
    Such is Sean Taylor.
I remember this, and I remember the sadness it caused me.
You always want to go up against the best! Sean Taylor was the best.
Like other Cowboys rival greats of the game: John Riggins, Darrell Green, LT, Reggie White, Jerome Brown, Coach George Allen, you hated their guts, but damn you respected them, and appreciated them for making rivalries fun!
    Rest easy Sean.
You deserve a much better memorial than the nonsense Daniel Snyder propped up.

I was born in 1985 so two years behind Sean Taylor. He was the reason I cheered for The U. Seeing him on tv play for Miami was such a blessing. Because they were #1 in the country their game's were always on tv. "He was better than everyone else." That's a perfect explanation. 6'3" a legit 6'3" 230 and was just as good as a running back if you see his HS highlights. I am watching his highlights on CZcams all the time bc you know youll never see a better defensive player EVER! HE WAS THAT DAMN GOOD. Btw THE U got robbed in title game vs OSU. RIP 21
