A compilation of Kam Chancellor's career highlights. As an integral member of the Seattle Seahawks Legion of Boom, Kam was a hard hitting strong safety that tormented NFL offenses throughout his career. Drafted 133rd overall in the 5th round of the 2010 NFL Draft, Kam has certainly outperformed his draft stock. After an early retirement, Kam Chancellor will go down in Seahawks lore as one of their greatest players of all time.

In your opinion, is Kam a Hall of Famer?
    Super Bowl Champion
    4x Pro Bowler
    2x 2nd Team All-Pro

He should go considering he's been on top ten strong safeties of alltime. For eight years he became more than famous with teammates, fans and most importantly opposing players. The stats Kam put up for the time he played were great.

I feel like his impact on the game while he played should earn him a spot, he was a personality on the field, a different character, a different breed, a different animal, and a different kind of safety. One of the hardest if not the hardest hitter of all time.

the only problem with the LOB was that it was only a thing for 3,4,5 years then after the main contributers left and went to other teams they weren't the same. Earl Thomas got cut by the ravens, sherman is above average on the 49ers and kam retired and Bobby Wagner is a freak. I do and don't wanna say he's a hall of famer but the main thing you are looking for in a hall of famer is telling the story of the NFL with just coaches, owners, gm's and players and if thats the case i dont think you can tell the story of the NFL without kam because players, teams feared that man even if it was only for a little.

I used to live for hits like that, both back when I played as a kid and watching on TV. Partially due to us as a society knowing so much more about CTE, and partially due to my wife working as a neuro nurse for 2 years, knockouts make me feel sick. Wife has had a couple patients on her floor that got knocked out (street fight and bicyclist crashing) that had their entire life completely flushed from it. One never woke up, the other was a completely different person (like they regressed 20 years emotionally). All from concussions.

Outside of people wearing a Raiders jersey, this guy was my fav player by far. He was beyond an enforcer. I’ve never seen a DB completely destroy anyone in his path. I remember him levelling a Cardinals OL like it was nothing and then made the tackle after. And he was clean! I have never seen anyone call him a dirty player. Not to mention he’s probably the most underrated zone safety in the league. The read he made on Manning in the SB on that Walker route when they showed the overhead of the play demonstrated his insane IQ.
What a player. A shame his career was cut short, but he had an amazing impact on the game. The heart and soul of the best defense of the last 20 years. Thank you Bam Bam Kam.

I think Kam is the best at not allowing extra yards and what I mean is when he tackles someone its right there on the place he touched them. Kam deserves to be in the Hall of Fame!!!!! Kam was that man on the field and I challenge anyone to tell me a better strong safety than Kam……….. coverage skills (man and zone), came down into the box and could play the run, had exceptional ball skills for a strong safety and he was a true intimidator for a damn good reason…….. that man could lay the lumber!!!! And did it completely legal and by the letter of the NFL law. He was the heart and soul of the LOB and that Super Bowl winning Seattle defense that is arguably the greatest defense in the history of the NFL! I would take Kam as my strong safety over any other strong safety in history! He is in the same conversation as Ronnie Lott. He absolutely should have won that Super Bowl MVP Award when they beat Denver

Seattle native, big hawks fan and Kam is probably my fave player of all time. Still, I think he just didn’t quite play long enough to make the HOF. He was talented enough if he been able to make it a couple more years. While he wasn’t a pro type safety he was a massive difference maker on the Hawks D and a force to be reckoned with on the field.
