A compilation of Kam Chancellor's career highlights. As an integral member of the Seattle Seahawks Legion of Boom, Kam was a hard hitting strong safety that tormented NFL offenses throughout his career. Drafted 133rd overall in the 5th round of the 2010 NFL Draft, Kam has certainly outperformed his draft stock. After an early retirement, Kam Chancellor will go down in Seahawks lore as one of their greatest players of all time.

In your opinion, is Kam a Hall of Famer?
Super Bowl Champion
4x Pro Bowler
2x 2nd Team All-Pro
8 seasons, 608 tackles, 12 INTs, 44 pass deflections, 10 forced fumbles....
hes really really good but if he didnt get injured then hello, hall of fame
He should go considering he's been on top ten strong safeties of alltime. For eight years he became more than famous with teammates, fans and most importantly opposing players. The stats Kam put up for the time he played were great.
I feel like his impact on the game while he played should earn him a spot, he was a personality on the field, a different character, a different breed, a different animal, and a different kind of safety. One of the hardest if not the hardest hitter of all time.
He was clutch. He made the most important tackles and once even threw a lineman on the ground for a tackle for loss this dude will be a legend.
So much more than numbers though
Bro, what does he mean “I don’t know if he’s a hall of famer” HE WAS THE CORE OF LOB, guys straight up feared him
100%
No human being could square up Cam.
He punked Gronk.
the only problem with the LOB was that it was only a thing for 3,4,5 years then after the main contributers left and went to other teams they weren't the same. Earl Thomas got cut by the ravens, sherman is above average on the 49ers and kam retired and Bobby Wagner is a freak. I do and don't wanna say he's a hall of famer but the main thing you are looking for in a hall of famer is telling the story of the NFL with just coaches, owners, gm's and players and if thats the case i dont think you can tell the story of the NFL without kam because players, teams feared that man even if it was only for a little.
Vernon davis being guys?
who else thinks Kam should get a card in Madden
he’s getting one
@Cristian Pena oh SHIT I need to get madden 21 asappp
In madden 21 he's like 97
Imagine playing mut how much money you spend to win lol
@@AVERAGERWEFAN no he’s not 😂 he’s a 99 but by the time of you making that comment his highest card was 94
Kam's career without that neck injury is my biggest football what if? of all time. Legendary safety. Deserves the HOF even though I recognize it's an edge case
Very big what if but I think mine is if Bo Jackson kept playing
that and Sean Taylor (RIP)
@@OGdienomyte850 yeah Sean Taylor will always be the biggest what if the man was legendary in his short NFL career
Receivers far and wide praying to god nightly for deciding to spare their lives.
He’d still be leveling fools.
When Kam left the legion of boom left
If he played more he could've easily been a HOF player if he played longer
well put..
No one can play like that for long.
@@andreaan8506 he is a hof changed the game he put fear in the slant route and post
@@bxbba-2345 not really night train lane was doing that before kam was even born
Kam was the Legion of BOOM!
Charles when he left there was no more boom, you could really feel his presence missed
He was THE BOOM 💥
Don't forget Brandon Browner as well
Man I miss Kam so much. He was the heart and soul of our D. I could only imagine how our D would look like if he was still with us
He was the Brian dawkins of the seahawks lob era
We need him more than ever. Our defense now has no fire
@@user-dq8td5kc5m I mean Jamal, KJ and Bobby are good. not lob good but they’re good.
@Mustafa Mohamud for real, and diggs is good too their free safety. I hurd he made it to the pro bowl
Pause
If you put Sherman or Thomas on HOF, you gotta put Chancellor in there. The OG Legion of Boom
those 2 will get in.. but i dont think kam will unfortunately..
@@ClasherSports now kam is selected as a candidate, but thomas is far away. His career got messed up after he did a bunch of stupid stuff
They voted Zack Thomas in, so Cam should be in.
Dang I miss watching Kam play, that hit on Vernon Davis on the 2 yd. line will always be my all time favorite.
He lit Davis up a few different times lol
that was devastating ... dunno how he got up from that... there was another clip but i had to remove due to copyright... a short pass where kam just levelled a 49er
I stood up and screamed this primal scream I didn't know I could do when he hit Davis.
That whole game was so intense.
If you know, you know.
Favorite player of all time.
Teammates loved him.
The opposing team feared him.
Not only the players fed off of him either, as I mentioned.
Fans as well. 💜
I miss you Bam Bam Kam.
I was waiting for the replay of him destroying the Arizona blocking lineman and then destroying the RB after that. he was the absolute best
He retired him
I used to live for hits like that, both back when I played as a kid and watching on TV. Partially due to us as a society knowing so much more about CTE, and partially due to my wife working as a neuro nurse for 2 years, knockouts make me feel sick. Wife has had a couple patients on her floor that got knocked out (street fight and bicyclist crashing) that had their entire life completely flushed from it. One never woke up, the other was a completely different person (like they regressed 20 years emotionally). All from concussions.
I’ll take a bone crushing hit any day of the week; but the head is too important to destroy simply because we like watching it
Close call whether hes a HOF imo... he definitely dominated during his short career...
No one can play long like that. He destroyed his body.
Kind of like the Luke Keuchly situation
@@WeebTrey nah he’s def making it
If his career wasn’t cut short he would def be one
As a seahawks fan, I think he deserves it, but he didnt have 10 years
I’d love him to be the Seahawks defensive coach one day!
Exactly! Just as a consultant if nothing else. Teach these boys proper tackling techniques. With all the emphasis placed on safety these days, it's needed more than ever!
Shit yea they need him ASAP!! Sign him up There d is horrible lately been for awhile now
Everyone knew him as Bam-Bam... O-Lines knew him as *BOOM!*
An underrated part of Kam's game was his coverage skills. I've literally watched every NFL game he played in and saw him make plays all over the field. Kam was the last Strong Safety the Hawks had that could cover well. Judging by what I've seen from Jamal Adams so far I suspect this will be the case for many more years.
His coverage on Gronk was extremely impressive, him playing a full season at Corner in college definitely helps
The Jamal take isn’t aging well sadly
@@caleblangham394 I think you misunderstood my post. I was saying Jamal isn't a good coverage player and I figured this would continue. I've been proven correct if anything.
His tackle is so vicious and ref had to give flags lol
He was the greatest enforcer of his era. You can't find stats on intimidating the opponent. One of Seattle's cornerbacks said any argument he has with a wide receiver immediately end when Kam comes over. How many safeties have put multiple offensive linemen on stretchers?
If you look at most Chancellor's big plays they were at very crucial moments it was the game changer
IMO he was as impactful as Earl. Yea earl got lots of picks but Kam played in the box against the run and was good in coverage. Hope he makes it, one of my favorites
Great range, team leader, smart, big hitter, excellent tackler. Left it all out on the field each game. One of my all-time favorite players.
Yes he’s a hof, it’s more then just stats and his hits, my dawg
i dont think he's getting in... and this coming from a hawks fan...
Clasher Sports he getting in, there’s people in the hof who shouldn’t be in it but somehow are in
He just needed to play longer
@@jflacko3441 who's in that doesn't deserve it?
@@Kai-wq8xz pretty much.
The Chancellor of Pain... I lived in Seattle and loved watching this guy play.
i love rewatching cam's highlights every couple of months to get the blood flowing. greatest hitter of all time is at the top of his list of endless accolades
what is sad is that alongside his potential hof career being cut short by injury when he was only getting better as a player, so many of his best plays were nullified by penalties. In most cases not because he actually committed a penalty but because he hit the other player so hard the refs just instantly assumed it was a penalty.
Kam built as a LB playing safety. Dam Beast. 🤝
Savage on the field and the most humble man I’ve ever met off the field.
Outside of people wearing a Raiders jersey, this guy was my fav player by far. He was beyond an enforcer. I’ve never seen a DB completely destroy anyone in his path. I remember him levelling a Cardinals OL like it was nothing and then made the tackle after. And he was clean! I have never seen anyone call him a dirty player. Not to mention he’s probably the most underrated zone safety in the league. The read he made on Manning in the SB on that Walker route when they showed the overhead of the play demonstrated his insane IQ.
What a player. A shame his career was cut short, but he had an amazing impact on the game. The heart and soul of the best defense of the last 20 years. Thank you Bam Bam Kam.
Sincerely,
A Raider fan.
I missed playing HS football with Kam by one year.( I was a Sr when he was in 8th grade.) Maury HS, Norfolk, VA. Let's be honest, I was a scrub. But the 757 has produced a lot of great talent.
2:42 that tackle on the biggest wr to ever play shows how easy it was for this guy. Kam was the most important member of the LOB and should be in the hof one day
I almost want to cry watching this i miss watching him play. He is such an inspiration L.O.B
7:20 Sherm is a dawg for that all in aj face miss our defense man
miss seeing bam bam in the league and the legion of boom ,best times ..😔
that hit at 1:55 broke gronks rib and he said it was one of the hardest hits he's ever had
hardest hit on one of the biggest guys in the league... but my fav is the one on vernon davis... mollywopped!!! lol
And a collapsed lung too*******
But that was Earl Thomas that hit Gronk

Kam the BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
the reason why i am watching this is because i am a safty but pee wee so thanks for the video
no prob glad u enjoyed
Hit like this dude man and people will take notice, gotta bring something different then the rest, loved playin SS or FS
One of the scariest safeties to ever play the game. Period. The way he blew up people consistently was unreal. HOF easily. Not only that, his line routes to GET to the ball carrier were perfection. It was always that the receiver caught it and not but a split second later he got the shoulder.
What people don’t realize is how different this guy played honestly. He played in the position of a line backer mostly and sorta played secondary. He also put the other players first to make the plays usually. His personality is best described as unselfish. If he had 600 tackles that means that (on average) he had 100 tackles in all seasons except 2
That's how the defense was designed to be. He had a simple assignment mostly and Thomas was able to cover deep and come up to hit an it allowed Kam to succeed as well as he did. He was a rover hybrid at Virginia tech basically lb/ss
Might not ever be inducted into the HOF, which is a shame for how good he was but one thing is for certain, Seahawks need to retire #31
BAM BAM Is a legend in my book.
GO HAWKS!!!
you think if he played longer it would've made a diff?
@@ClasherSports definitely

By far favorite player from LOB and i always wished every year the defense had his heart and love for the game. I miss watching him play. The guy will be be the hall no doubt
Bruh imma Seahawks fan till I die. Always wanted to see this man hit Dk…
When I saw Kam Play he always stood out to me. One of my favorite players.
The stats aren't going to tell the complete story when it comes to Kam. No doubt though, he was the catalyst and enforcer of one of the greatest defenses all-time...that has to stand for something. He set the tone in that Superbowl with his hit on Demaryius (RIP).
Absolutely 💯... miss ya BAM BAM
I have the pleasure of working with him in the construction world now that he's retired. Great guy . Super down to earth and humble. When I watch his highlights I can't believe it's the same guy I have the pleasure to work with... killer!
What kind of construction was he doing?

Good video but you missed Kam's pick six against Carolina in the playoffs.
Thanks.. ya.. gonna miss some when Im scouring through 10 hrs of footage.. my eyes still hurt
That's literally my favorite Kam play
7:25 RIP Sherman
He got poped there
😂🤣
Nah, more like rip johnny knox.. Thst receiver that dropped the ball on that play. He litterly was bent the other way folded tye wrong way. Most horrid injury ive ever seen. He never played again. Just search Johnny Knox injury

Hell yeah.. I loved the way he played.
Kam the all time leader in helmet to helmet hits that weren’t actually helmet to helmet hits, just hardcore whiplash from hitting a guy so hard.
The intangibles made him great. Dude was a tone-setter, leader, and a hard-hitter, stuff that stats won't show
hey thank you for this I have been waiting and I want to say he would be a hall of famer because he doesn't have the as good stats compared to other hall of famers on defense.
ya I know but he had a short career compared to most.. it's gonna be tough... but he was soooo dominant when he played..
stats don't mean everything but he was feared I do and don't wanna say he's a hall of famer but the main thing you are looking for in a hall of famer is telling the story of the NFL with just coaches, owners, gm's and players and if thats the case i dont think you can tell the story of the NFL without kam because players, teams feared that man even if it was only for a little.
I love the game watched all of the Hawks games played by that (4) years in a row record setting #1 scoring defense. Anyone who says he is not a HOF player is a liar.
3:18 wtf? aint no way in hell is that roughing the passer. its called a sack.
i had to rewatch that clip after seeing your outrage... yaaah i remember that play now. 100% sack
The NFL is just pussies now don’t worry they always call weak calls like that even though the hits are 100% clean most of the time
Reminds me of clay Matthew
Definite HOF imo. Heart and soul of the best secondary of all time and the best safety in the NFL for at least 3 years and could make an argument for 5 years
An Absolute Gamechanger.
Definitely a HOF. The sheer level of dominance he had in the short span he played was absolutely crazy!
It’s unfortunate his career was cut short, he was an absolute madman on the field. Just a long and explosive player at the position, miss watching him take souls
7:18 Richard Sherman takes the time to talk shit I love that 😂
One of the best safeties I’ve ever watched play the game. Coverage skills underrated
Kam Chancellor and Bobby Wagner were the heart and soul of that LOB defense. As a Chargers fan Seattles defense from 2010-2014 was so fun to watch they have to be a top 5 defense of all time. Kam certainly is a HOF. Maybe doesn't have the accolades of others but he was sensational
The best thing about Kam is that he hit that hard legally. Most hard hitters just lead with their head and let the helmet to helmet do the work but Kam made a point of going straight in with his shoulder.
Cam was a monster.! One of the best by far.!!
kam is one of my favorites of all time…any madden franchise i made had kam on my team.
I think he should be in the HOF. Dude was a complete player. Could hit hard with proper technique. Could pick a QBs pocket. Great in coverage. Great play recognition. He has the stats too.
Im a Packer fan, I hate and fear this dude, but gotta respect his play.
I love that image of Kam on one knee and Pete Caroll bending down to hug him. Pete looks like a father who's proud of his son.
Go Hawks!
I really like your narrative driven editing style. Watched a few of your videos. Great stuff.
Thanks. Are you talkin bout these old highlight vids or my new videos? I only do NFL stories now..
There is no LOB without Kam idc what anybody says
I’m a full grown man and I tear up anytime I watch videos of our beloved LOB.
What a beast once he touched the ballcarrier they always go down
Smack Kam was one of my favorite players to watch back then, I wasn’t even a Seahawks fan.
I think you also have to take in account where he was drafted. And how he proved every team wrong for passing on him
Seahawks fan and ive been watching since the Hasslebeck days. Kam Chancellor is my all time favorite Seahawk. Dude was a beast! If he didnt have to retire because of injuries then i believe he would be a HOF.
Without Question Kam "Bam Bam" Chancellor is a Hall Of Famer.
Definitely a hall of famer! It wouldn’t be a legion of boom without his hits and physical play style 💥
Without Kam there No LOB 💯💯 remember this 💯🔥🔥
Kam been a beast since elementary school I remember the rival Vikings vs crusaders my dawg was a quarterback getting crazy 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿 that’s my dawg for life
He is my favorite defensive player that I had witnessed in my life...
Man I miss kam omg he was a good player we need more players like him I miss them days
Just for the fact of you can’t talk about the legion of boom without mentioning him and his impact on the team, he’s definitely getting in the hof without him the Seahawks wouldn’t have been nearly as successful, he was the heart and soul of the legion of boom
He was the energy of that defense. Those hits set the mood.
A scary defense complimented by a great offense
KAM is the BOOM in the LEGION OF BOOM. HE should’ve been the SB MVP. HOF for sure
I’ve been a life time season ticket holder. I’ve seen a Lot of hawks ball. Kam def ranks in hall of fame category. No single player has has such a monumental effect on offenses over their life in the nfl, as kam chancellor. He single handily would instill fear in QBs.
I like the lion noises. Nice work.
A career ended too soon. Sorry, Kam. You are AMAZING! An inspiration....
glad you enjoyed!
I think Kam is the best at not allowing extra yards and what I mean is when he tackles someone its right there on the place he touched them. You see nowadays HB WRs get 5-6 extra yards, Kam stopped them dead in their tracks. My absolute favorite is when he hit a full speed Mike Tolbert like 265lb man dead in his tracks. Absolutely amazing to watch
My favorite player on that seahawks team!!!!!
Kam was such an amazing player. I loved watching him lower the boom on the opposition..
I don’t care what anyone says. Kam is one of the best safety’s to ever play the game.
Kam deserves to be in the Hall of Fame!!!!! Kam was that man on the field and I challenge anyone to tell me a better strong safety than Kam……….. coverage skills (man and zone), came down into the box and could play the run, had exceptional ball skills for a strong safety and he was a true intimidator for a damn good reason…….. that man could lay the lumber!!!! And did it completely legal and by the letter of the NFL law. He was the heart and soul of the LOB and that Super Bowl winning Seattle defense that is arguably the greatest defense in the history of the NFL! I would take Kam as my strong safety over any other strong safety in history! He is in the same conversation as Ronnie Lott. He absolutely should have won that Super Bowl MVP Award when they beat Denver
This felt like the defensive version of a Marshall Lynch highlight reel. Punishing.
Absolutely a beast
Dude was so raw
The voiceovers and talking are a biggg game changer in these highlight videos. Big ups to you on the extra effort💯
appreciate that.. but these i stopped making highlight vids.. focusin on NFL stories
@@ClasherSports love to see it
Seattle native, big hawks fan and Kam is probably my fave player of all time. Still, I think he just didn’t quite play long enough to make the HOF. He was talented enough if he been able to make it a couple more years. While he wasn’t a pro type safety he was a massive difference maker on the Hawks D and a force to be reckoned with on the field.
Having other DB monsters around you like Browner, Sherman and Thomas only made Kam's exploits more legendary. Truly a famous defensive backfield!
Kam is a beast
Coming from a Seahawks fan, I don't want to hear that Sherman was the reason Seattle's defense was successful. Especially on the Super Bowl 48 run. Kam was the cornerstone of the Legion of Boom, and he was the best player in the secondary.
Will never be another Kam chancellor 😢
