Hey Kevin, I live in Box Springs, Marion County, Georgia and was attracted to one of your knife videos so I subscribed to you last night. Well, then I found out your were in Ellaville and lit up like a Christmas tree since I'm 47 and I'm at in-home hospice here. Those Western brand knives were in many stores back in the 1960s. I have a CV Trapper like yours , one of my favorites.

I think you got a great deal on the Case CV Trapper, looks great in your Display Case. The irregularity or "crack" isn't very noticeable and the only person it matters too is you. Great Video! Have a good day Kevin!

display case would look pretty sweet with all the yellow delrin on left and matching amber bone on right, easy to find matching amber bone knives on ebay, even the year good luck

Awesome cool video thumbs up. I like that little knife. It looks like a bigger knife. My father had a case like that one you just opened but the handles were darker. Nice case.

Love the case display. There’s an old country store with a few yellow and bone knives in it but I don’t know it they would be what you need. I am get a picture of them if you want to look at them.

That Western fishing knife is the exact one I told you I have but mine is is great shape I will send you an email photo of mine! Mine and yours has the last of the Celluloid knife scales that exspand back for 150 years. Rust and heat causes it to crack and get brittle and why allot of them are damaged!!
The fish knife had a hook sharpener on the side , a small whetstone!

Why is there no folding hunter in the display case 🙄 to me the folding hunter is the best case knife 🤔 made. Very strong and versatile 💪
i noticed also no baby butterbean those started in 1999 , display maybe pre 99, knives did not all come in cv every year also
It looks like a hairline crack but I wouldn’t worry it’ll be a fine specimen in that display case. I bought a victorinox lockback hunter in the box today at the pawnshop for the collection.

Hello Kevin. I was just curious about what type bone handle knives you are planning to put in your display case, are you sticking with the amber bone CV or just whatever you come across in bone with carbon blades?
Just what ever bone I come across with CV steel. New old stock. With boxes.

Hey Kevin what polishing wheel do you use on your grinder ???
It not a polishing wheel. It’s a fiber wheel used to remove surface rust. I buy it at Harbor Freight.
Nice find on eBay…..In my opinion I don’t think it’s a crack,It’s definitely a part of the bone handle.

$50 is a fair price on that Case Trapper. His first price was too high.
