A side note. Some of the side quests you completed prior to killing Jack the first time were also part of the lost chapters. The game was a little bare before the dlc came to life, but it didn't stop me from completing it hundreds of times before the dlc came to be. The greatest disappointment from the original was getting the sword of aeons and having absolutely no reason to have it. The game was over, everything worth killing was dead. The lost chapters and anniversary truly elevated the original idea. A masterpiece of its time

Pushing the limits of how we could beat it, what was possible. How fast, how strong could we get, what's the most money we could earn? I consider myself a true fan of the original game, but I've only played 2 and 3 a couple of times each. It just isn't the same, although I do really enjoy them

Fable was such a big part of my childhood, I love it. It was pretty much first "new" game on "new" pc for a kid, who only played 2d games from 90s before, like starcraft, homm3 or warcraft 2 and diablo 2. And when I found out not only you can make "evil" choices, but they also affect things? My mind was blown to pieces.

Your channel is killer. I've loved all your retrospectives and the games are ones I've all played and had a special connection too. Honestly it's like my mind is being read and its super cool. Like a just made a new friend talking about my favorite video games. You really do the games you play justice too. There are other channels that do retrospectives, but each one seems like a critic trying their best to find the flaws in an older game. I believe that is the difference and what makes me love these so much. You give the games the benefit of the doubt, even when the game has flaws but you never let that get in the way of the big picture, the concept the game is putting forth.
    Proud of you son.

The large stone at the end of the path can be easily hidden behind, you only need to run through and kill the three bandits, then hide behind the rock, wait for them to respawn and start patrolling, and then you just run to the gate...I figured this out when I was 11. You don't even need to sneak.

That’s basically what I do I have no problem opening all demon doors that are good or evil or doing all quests good or bad but when it comes down to making choices between the two I always go down with good. However the one quest you get in oak vale in fable 1 where the gaurd wants you to go kill an assassin and you find out he’s the brother, I actually take the assassins side because he was targeted first out of jealousy so I go back and kill the gaurd taking the extra cash from doing that quest. Morality games are amazing dragon age is a good one but fable is a rare breed where your character and the world around you changed based of your desisions, a great example is fable to where the choice you make as a child effects bowerstone olde town aesthetics for the rest of the game

Compare it to Star Wars. Say they train people with the force and you were free to be Sith or Jedi and they wouldn't judge as long as you didn't take down the council... xD

@yourfavouriteson Hey dude, your work is appreciated. We like what you are doing. Me and my brother loved your soul reaver review. Would you be so kind as to review Elder Scrolls series from first game to skyrim.

This is a great video very well researched. I appreciate that you took the time to show both perspectives of this game. If you enjoy Kotor or Kotor 2 I think this style could work well with those games.

Fable 1 is the best fable in my opinion and your video did it justice! I subscribed!

Great video, this game is nostalgic but man does it still hold up for me. The main menu music for fable the lost chapters is still one of the best tracks in a game for me, it's called summer fields for those who want to listen to it

My favorite is fable the lost chapters I didn't have the anniversary edition though. My favorite route was evil route. I felt so amazing and cool once I got the mask at the end. God that shit was so edgy and cool xD

My favorite part of Fable was always the age progression when you start game at like 10 years old and end the game at 70 years old

I think the dialogue lines are fine in their spacing. Better than the five second delay between lines in games like the elder scrolls. It feels like a natural talking pace for somewhere that just talks fast. I know that there are places in the US that talk faster than that.

i love that the algorithm randomly suggested this video to me, fable is my favourite game series, and I absolutely agree with most of your points, I only really disagreed on your point in fable 2, when you said the choices in fable 2 arent obvious, maybe its because I have been playing the game since launch, but although its not down to the point of this is good this is bad, I still think it was pretty obvious which was the right answers to go for on a good play through, I love this channel and have been watching all your other videos and hope you get the subscribers you deserve

You can actually save the trader bitten by a balverine, it just requires pretty much rushing to the camp after agreeing to take him with you. Nice retrospective though, definitely gonna watch the other Fable videos!

Love the new format, and I think it'll allow you to grow faster this way. Also, not having to edit 5 hours of content together should be a touch less taxing on your mental health too. Keep it up boyo, and stay awesome!

After seen that deform child on the very start I do remember why I uninstalled and never gave that game a chance...
I did try to give the 3th a try back in the day but game was so CPU intensive that my PC wasn't up to the task.
