Actually they are mass produced, STI's machining is that good. This is STI's "duty" line. Pick up one of their older models that are even slicker and with better triggers. I have the C2 DPO ( RMR TYPE2) and it's a shooter for sure, vastky more reliable than the old DVC models.
Yeah I guess I shoulda clarified. Basically meant just not produced to the same scale and lower tolerances like a Glock or M&P. But yeah it’s a tack driver for sure

Went with the Bul Armory SAS II Tac 4.25. It came with three 19 round mags. Spent $500 less than Stacatto and shoots equally well if not better. Something to consider. Great review nonetheless.
The MSRP on that is $100 less than the C2, not $500 and the Staccato Mags are 1/2 the price and you get 3 with the gun, not two. So, if you were to compare each gun with 3 mags, the Staccato would actually be cheaper and you don't need any tools to take it down.
What optic are you thinking about installing. I am getting ready to order a C2 but not sure which optic between Holosun 508T and 508K. I presently carry a Glock 19 with an RMR.
I ended up going with a Swampfox Liberty. I actually did a review of it on the Staccato. But really you can't go wrong with either 508 or 507. If I had to choose I would go with the 508.
