- GUYS, IT'S ABOVE AVERAGE. Calus Mini Tool will always be one of the best primary weapons in Destiny. Even though it lacks range, once it gets in close, it is unstoppable. It's such a cute gun too. The ornament makes it look so smol. Best of luck farming!

As a avid mida tool enthusiast, i honestly prefer threat detector incandescent. I feel that in the content and builds where i'd be running it, unrelenting is overkill due to restoration being so free on solar. Though, unrelenting is definitely the move if you're on a subclass with poor survivability.
Your combo is the go to, and is really comfortable. There’s a couple ways you can go with the mini tool, which is why it’s so sought after :)
I use god roll 2 personally. The 47% (enhanced) is fierce. It feels like Recluse on the low.
I miss recluse. Felt good to use, even when the damage buff was active :)

aint farming the hell called presage, yes its fun but after 10 legend runs it gives me the will to do an epic omori reference and commit an ending oh and i saw that darci doing meta dps so 10/10 would like if i had more alts

Presage is so lame to farm, but that can be said about all the missions. I just want banshee or xur to sell copies of the mini tool atp :)

15 thousand kills and counting unless I need a different weapon for champs this SMG is on all of my solar builds.
It’s hard to put down. Has one of the best sight pictures on an smg hands down.

That’s a great starter option. Smgs are still great, and it’s hard to go wrong with so many choices :)
Done around 30 runs of presage for only 2 non red border drops of it.
As this point it feels like a waste a time and I should just wait for xur to sell it like the ikelos smg this week

What build are using?
The build I’m using was a hodgepodge of messed up mods. I actually don’t have the build that used in the video anymore, I’m sorry :(
as much as I love the Calus mini tool, I must say that Bug Out Bag for some reason scratches my itch much better, it's similar and hits harder at base, though the recoil definitely can be a problem. Side note, ARE YOU USING DARCI ?!
Bug out bag is pretty nice! Also, yes I was using DARCI, it was for a weapon review, so I needed to get familiar with the weapon :)

Ehh. Don’t get the hype of this SMG. There are better guns to use now. Bugout is better imo.
All up to personal preference. Personally, the Calus mini tool is better because it can use enhanced perks and is craftable. Also, it has more perk combos that are usable at high end activities. Bug Out kind of lacks relevant perks in high end. Incandescent can work, but enhanced is always better 🤷♂️
