If calus mini tool is too rough to grind I highly recommend bug out bag from the previous season. 900 rpm with subsistence incandescent, with kills from incandescent explosions counting towards subsistence. Currently my favorite pve smg
But, if you manage to have the tool crafted, it's worth it, in my opinion.
But if you prefer bug out bag then, I won't judge

cataclysm (Vow linear) rolls 4th times + bait and switch, after the agressive frame fix it has better dps and total damage

Cataclysmic is the best Linear and I refuse to hear any arguments otherwise.

@@pee-pee_mama For what linears are good for cataclysmic is the best. Yes briars can do a bit higher burst damage with surrounded but if you’re just looking for that then rockets are better currently. The niche linears occupy currently is really high total damage with decent sustained dps and no other fulfills that roll better than cataclysmic with it’s combo of best ammo regen perk and consistent highest damage perk. Any situation I would pick briars over cataclysmic I would pick rockets over briars. Basically cataclysmic is the best at what linears are actually good at right now.
@@aarongregory4980They really both have their place depending on what you’re playing.
The main problem with rockets is that if you miss one rocket (or god forbid someone jumps in your way and kills you) it REALLY tanks your damage. Which it seems like some of these bosses have very iradkic movement patterns. I personally don’t miss many rocket shots but when I do it’s like “wtf just happened with that boss juking like that?”
Cataclysmic is the overall better linear depending on the damage phase. If you’re a gamer you should always have a Briar’s with Surrounded for certain bosses (Ir Yut is the easy one that comes to mind). I also have one with Reconstruction/Frenzy for general play which does plenty fine.
Of course the truth of the matter is… unless you’re straight up gaming hard with a bunch of gamers… min/maxing is basically irrelevant. You choosing the best option to do maybe 250,000 or less more damage depending on the options isn’t changing if you’re going to clear or not. It’s not changing the amount of damage phases.
I’ve played since D1s launch, stopped a couple of months after Destiny 2s release and jumped in for about a week after Forsaken dropped. And this video got me soo hyped for jumping back in now, game looks so fun in its current state!
Just came to say that if you grinded last years Dawning event, you could get a Glacioclasm fusion rifle with reservoir burst and subsistence along with the dawning surprise trait for some extra ability energy off rapid kills
My favourite Incandescent primary is Demo + Incan No Survivors, and for Voltshot I really like Brigand’s over Ikelos. Demo + Tricorn/Junkie/Repulsor Unforgiven is also very good on Void, depending on your build
Brigands is actually pretty amazing and easy to use imo. The only time you have problems is hard content plus we rarely have sidearm champ mods but for a sidearm it’s special

You forgot to mention that the origin trait on Cold Comfort also gives it another shot per reload. I use an envious assassin/bait and switch roll and that paired with the origin trait let’s me instantly dump 4 rockets without reloading, which means three bait and switch rockets. It’s basically my go to legendary rocket.
Crux Termination IV dethroned your best arc rocket launcher in the game. Since its perk pool is very small even with it being a world drop most ppl who play everyday have multiple god rolls of this thing. Since i do so many master lost sectors I have EVERY roll of this thing i think. Everything from slideshot bipod to reconstruct explosive light, you name it.
Adept Briars Contempt is op with Rewind Rounds and High impact reserves

Cold Confort can get 4 rockets in a single magazine. Pair with Restoration Ritual and it can shoot 5 rockets without reloading.

The BXR with demolitionst and incandescent is super handy for a Verity's Brow solar build.
I got pugilist and incandescent for warlock sunbracer build. Pugilist isnt needed if i deal a lot of damage with grendades tho but it helps
for pve, i might grind for heliocentric instead of drang for the demo incandescent combo, plus has a guaranteed source you can easily solo do (legend/master lost sectors)

I'd say Wilderflight is 100% worth the grind. Although it isn't Forbearance, it instead shines it it's utility, especially since you'll get blinding, auto loading and lead from gold (in a day 1 setting with Cenotaph, you'll have basically unlimited blinds), additionally it is a double shot frame which is cool, and feels good to use in general combat.
Quick tip for Solar Titans using Calus Mini Tool..
Grave Robber is the perfect perk for a throwing hammer build.
Every time you get a hammer kill (or any melee kill), your sub machine gun reloads itself.
It’s not subsistence, but it’s nice not having to worry about reloading. Just throw a hammer or punch an ad when the clip is empty, and continue spraying away
But, if you aren't on hammer titan, and let's say, you're on a voidlock or stasis titan, you can swap the grave roober to unrelenting and it can save you part of the time.
But for high end content, calus mini isn't really good bc of smg range and the recoil nerf, unless there's an add clear encounter like the first half of ron or 3rd encounter of dsc, there isn't much space for the calus to shine...
[Unless you're add clearing for every encounterin the game and can control the recoil nerf.]

I know but my comment was strictly for solar titan bro lol. Maybe are titan as well, to chain amplified punches in exchange for a full mag… but its most effective of hammers
@@deezosaintloyal i agree, i think grave robber is best with hammers simply cuz you can pick up the hammer and get a guaranteed kill, or just spam it on a yellow bar after dumping your mag, reloading it when it dies.

Unending Tempest roll with Gutshot Straight + Headstone for that bonus crystal explosion damage. a little side note the only damage increase is from the ones it spawns.
This was an interesting video. Mentioning where the weapons can be acquired/ground for would have been great though.
While I agree, that likely would have made the video at least twice as long lol. Easy enough to pick which items you specifically want for a build and then just google where to farm them, IMO.

The solar shotgun that can roll discord and subsistence (I got one but the name is eluding me). When ad clearing, you can literally never run out of ammo nor need to reload once you get the rythem down

i lucked out and got overflow reservoir Loaded question in my first GM that it was the weapon. charge time masterwork. i used all my luck on that and haven’t gotten a good bow roll
Imma be real: The Other Half is objectively just better over Half Truths and why Brigand when IKELOS SMG and also BXR is just a universally good weapon pvp and pve.
PLS DO NOT USE FUSIONS FOR ADD CLEAR OMG. On both the eremite and loaded question swap out reservoir burst for controlled burst and they are great for major damage and a special to use in boss damage rotations. perfect if u are using tractor or in a bait and switch rotation if ur not a fan of gl's. if ur doing add clear use a waveframe or an ability based build(prob better) pls.

I have multiple good rolls from my vault; Reconstruction BAS Apex Predator, Explosive Payload Incandescent Zaouli's Bane and my first ever Raid Weapon was Explosive Payload Firefly Fatebringer (not Timelost tho) and I somehow got 1K Voices twice in a row. No wonder I'm not getting Hierarchy of Needs whenever I do the dungeon
Heirarchy of needs is trash trust me. I was stoked when I got it that I instantly went to get the catalyst for it too. To be honest, if I need solar weapon I use Ticcu's over it. Wish-keeper and Le Monarch are way better. of course Wishender is still king tho. I get it tho sometimes a weapon just calls out to you like Buried Bloodline for me over dozen clears and still hasn't dropped but nearly all my friends have it, lol.

rufus's fury is well worth the grind its the best auto rifle in destiny 2 and banner fall for titans is getting a nerf eventually

Anyone who says Funnelweb, Ikelos_SMG_V1.0.3, or Calus Mini Took isn’t worth it in Season 23 is wrong. Xûr sells the last two and Banshee lets you focus his engrams into funnelweb.
Yeah I love briars. I was consistently getting higher damage than the people in my clan using other linear fusions like cataclysmic. Of course though. Surrounded is situational. And not all boss fights will have adds. So cataclysmic having bait and switch and fourth times is still going to be better in situations without ads. But if you know there will be ads around you take advantage of the insane damage of briars. It takes getting used to the three round burst of briars but once you get it down it’s insane.
I also love my cold comfort. I haven’t gotten a bait and switch one yet. But I got explosive light. And it does some amazing damage. Mine has envious. And you can get four rockets off if you get enough rapid kills before swapping to it. I believe it is ten. Which is da irl easy if you have forbearance. Such an amazing rocket launcher.

I swear the Unforgiven gets no credit even though it’s got an amazing perk pool and aggressive smgs are still really good
the only issues are:
1: it has Xenophage-level reload, so you NEED demo-frenzy
2: Farming it is painful

The reload doesn’t feel great but it isn’t THAT painful. Definitely one reload mod helps out a lot. Some people aren’t willing to give a slot up for it but most builds you’re using a filler mod that helps out a little bit with regen but not THAT useful.
The farming part is annoying. I’m sure I deleted some really good rolls before I realized I like the weapon. However, it’s got a good perk pool so many combinations are serviceable.

Unforgiven is great with void hunter and gyrfalcons. mine has feeding frenzy/repulsors brace, but you really cant go wrong with many of the perk combos. Demo/AdrenalineJunky is obviously top tier, but you dont need that to shine. Feeding frenzy and hunter dodge are more than enough. I like repulsors brace, but i also have a lot of fun with a Demo/Goldentricorn roll i have as well

Live videos like this!!! I’ve been playing since D1 and all my friends I used to play with stopped so I play solo which isn’t near as fun so I don’t play close to what I used to. So when I do decide to play I’m not in the loop anymore on what guns are worth a damn with the archetypes/meta changing constantly so these kinds of videos are gold for players like me or even newer players with little knowledge and experience
For chill clip on riptide it’s 3 shots to shatter and only 2 to freeze

What I never understand is why people play solo and then complain, look for a clan if you don't want that, it's their own fault
Bugout Bag is a SMG that also gets subsistence and incandescent. The only problem with it is that it's ugly as hell. Needs an ornament.

Deliverance is the First stasis fusion rifle! it comes with enhanced chill clip. i never finished VoD but was able to farm it from the first solo chest!

Riptide is good, no question. But i'll always love my Aurvendil. A high-impact frame yes, but Reconstruction + Chill Clip was too much to pass up.
Damn I always delete it cuz of it's slow charge time that enemies just dodge by the time it shoots and almost 3s to do 3 shots vs 1.5s ,I will take the less time one
@@mbk0mbk Which is fair. Plus Riptide is way way *way* easier to get ahold of. I've always just gravitated to the hard-hitting fusions.

@@expectedmeat Yeeeeeah, that's the downside: the blasted 12 perks in each column. Reseting Crucible can help, but that is still tough.
On the flip side though, Aurvandel is a world drop and that's just littered with so much stuff. You can focus for it next season, but I'd wager that's not gonna be any easier either.
@@expectedmeat I done 3 reset this season played in boosted weeks , got more then 3 chill clip with autoloading+ lead+field prep, had like 90 engrams still 40 engrams remaining

I know people don’t like raiding but there is a hand full of guns worth suffering for. Rufus is down right top tier especially right now since we always have strand surge and u can craft demolishionist with a damage perk and even on non strand you get the benefits of making tangles and yea quicksilver storm is very good but u take up your exotic slot. Then I recommend apex predator rocket as it’s the best rocket in the game and for the time being you won’t have to chase after another

Headstone on an smg is just not that great. Bug out bag and unforgiven are better than the options listed but more difficult to obtain
Bug out bag is not better than mida it doesn’t feel as good and can’t get enhanced incandescent
@@Edgetarian15 it makes up for its ease of use in slightly higher damage imo. I admit during the season of the haunted I crafted 2 mini tools but the third column perks are not great for it so I opt for better alternatives like bug out bag or no survivors. Just personal preference
this's good and all but like people watch this usually new player and you doesn't mention where to farm those gun , like D2 have tons of strike , dungeon , raid , crafting npc , etc ...
and those player watch this will instant forgot what they want next day after tired of trying to find where the gun drop .

What shader is that on Riptide
Looks like the leviathan shader from yr 1, or maybe one from use of Osiris that was basiclly the same thing
Any weapon tips for a void warlock power lvl1760 (im new and lost as hell)
Build into your grenades and use void weapons that can take advantage of volatile rounds. Contraverse Hold and Nezarecs Sin are great, you could use Nothing Manacles or Briabinds but personally I dont like scattered grandes and I hate the child of the old gods so idk how good theyd be but as a voidwalker main I usually use Nezarecs Sin with Graviton Lance with Chaos Accelerant and Feed the Void aspects and I can turn everything to void while healing to full after every kill because of devour, vortex grenade is my go to but for pve magnetic, scatter, and vortex are the best and for pvp Id recommend suppressor, scatter, and axion bolt, the others arent bad but require more forward thinking to use them effectively. Id go on more but this is getting long already

@@jayfergie8420 To be honest warlocks dont really have the best customizability when it comes to good builds for whatever reason because the exotics are either a niche passive or very specific gimmick for a certain playstyle that you have to fully build into
