  • I took a few minutes to Dragy my 2017 C43 on H&R VTF springs on 1/8th mile, then put on BMS intakes and did it again - the car feels and SOUNDS so much better!

    I’ve been eyeing this mod for a while. It sounds awesome and it looks like you can feel a difference in HP. I have the JB4 tuner and absolutely love it, it’s a huge noticeable boost

      @@drianashton yea man, you’ll like the tuner. I’ve got mine on level 3 and just add about a gallon on E85 to every full tank of 93 octane and it’s a major boost. I have a C400, which is the same engine as yours.

    Hey there! Is this the V1 intake? It looks like the V2 comes with sensor extenders and heat Shields. I'm asking because I'm looking to pick one up used, but it looks to be just two inlet pipes and two filters.

      No issues at all! Have had them on 3 years or so now without any problems.
      At my current ride height with the wheel spacers it rubs slightly in the front; if I raise the car a half inch, or get rid of the spacers it doesn’t rub, but it looks too cool the way it is to change it.

    These are trash on the m276 platform. They are mounted directly above the turbos and heat soak severely. They are only good for sound as they are just being used as a hot air vacuum.
    Best intake setup is the stock airbox with bmc drop in air filters.

    • @drianashton
      @drianashton  Před 3 lety +1

      IATs seem to be 10* to 15* higher than ambient air temp in every scenario I’ve looked at so far.
      I’m operating on the theory that my air pump (engine is a big air pump!) wants more access to air, and doesn’t care what temperature that air is.
