I put on the ak package. it went pretty well, except the shoulder stock would not seat into the receiver very well. had to drill, shave, file etc to get it in finally. over all, I am happy with it. Mine was a stamped, non angled receiver. looks good now.
The receiver has been through worse, this gun is a work horse. Besides the VLTOR tube fits perfectly in its current config so all is good. Hope ya enjoy the new furniture on your AK!
I installed this kit today. The handguards were kinda a bitch. Had to file down some things. I also screwed the pistol grip too hard and broke the plastic in the grip that mates against the bottom of the receiver so I had to order a new grip :( . Also, for some reason, my bolt/bolt carrier seems to be extra sticky and rough now. I am not sure what I did that would cause that. I took everything out when I did the install. The only thing I can think of is that I had to grip the gas tube with

some plyers to get the new handguard on it but it doesnt look like there are any bends or dents anywhere.
