I keep coming back to this song to learn it fully, but the ADHD guitarist in me has kept winning over. But it stops now, I'm determined to put up a rhythm and lead playthrough before the year is out. Getting it back under the fingers at the moment, but my 3rd finger has forgotten how brutal the bridge section is lol.

@@MaxNiessl Has been a blast. I've been learning guitar for about 9 months now, and this is certainly the most complex song I've really taken a stab at. I've been stuck on the bridge section for a while now, but my fingers finally figured it out tonight, just a matter of getting up to speed and consistency now. Will definitely post a cover once I've ALSO learned Cam's lead as well haha.

Intro gives me The Patient vibes and thr vocals lead the song more toward Soen style for me. I really like your solo, i think that slide gives a really unique sound u dont get to hear often in such songs. I also enjoy this approach to solo that Adam Jones has, less is more, make the most of a given note instead of just playing a lot of notes. Really cool song, would like to hear some heavier, more riff driven stuff from you in the future! Also i recently got a new guitar and a luthier asked me to record some demos of it, do you have any tips on how to set up a camera or whether a phone camera and microphone will do fine?
Thank you, Feno - I appreciate it! Regarding the luthier, using a mic and a phone camera should do fine and get you pretty far. You can synchronise the audio to video with a clap :)

How did you learn guitar if you don’t mind me asking?
I had a year of lessons, but most of the difficult stuff is learned by myself. I have a strong opinion that it’s very much possible to learn an instrument on your own, if you have a strong enough motivation. But lessons on basic music theory and the general gist of “how” to play the instrument (picking, fretting) are essential :)
