Thanks for making this video. I did the rear pads on my white 09 Civic today and it went just as you indicated. I did get a different tool for screwing in the pistons.
Another excellent video. This is going to be useful to me as soon as I wear down them brake pads. Again. Thank you!
Appreciate you taking the time to comment, thanks for watching my videos 👍🏼
Very good pad change video. Must be nice working on rust-free cars. Thanks for sharing.
Appreciate it, rust free vehicles are much easier to work on, I have great respect for technicians who have rust buckets come into their shop on a daily basis
Danny you are killing it with these videos! One more step to be a successful sponsored youtuber!

Nice job again Danny.
Thanks so much 👍🏼 always great hearing from you John
Just subscribed! Thank you for your informative video. My son and I will be replacing the front and rear pads for his 08 Civic Si. Hope the Si will be similar R&R…
Thanks for the sub!
Best video I’ve seen. I didn’t need unbolt cables tho.
A very explicit video. Thank you, I subscribed. Can you please tell me the tightening torques for the caliper brackets, calipers, but also for the aluminum rims? Thank you!

Can you make a video on how to put the handbrake into service mode on a Honda?
How do you get that back brake knob back into caliper slot? And whoever did my brakes they put the clips on the on the top Instead of the bottom..
Another Awesome Video Sir, You ever clean your sunroof drain hoses. thks
I have everything I need to make that video, however life’s challenges have slowed my video production down to a crawl, hopefully I’ll be up and posting more content soon
I wish I saw this video before I did mine, I struggled a bit with the caliper without taking those bolts off
Now you know ❤️👍🏼 thank you for sharing
Hello quick question please ..
Should condenser fan run with ac off at normal operating temperature with radiator fan or the radiator fan should run separately
❤❤❤
Appreciate you
hey danny, i was wondering, have you ever had the issue where your fuel gauge is reversed in your civic? I known its a somewhat common issue
I have not
We have. It's the contacts in the instrument cluster that are the issue. We just give the cluster a love tap just right of the speedometer and it corrects. Not a fix per se, but it does correct for awhile.
@@ericschwa1479thanks for adding this information
What is that little square that you used to compressed? Is it needed for the front as well?
I updated the description and added the part so you can buy it on Amazon
Update in description, the front pistons just needs pushed in
You don’t need a special tool, might make it easier but it’s not needed. You can use some big needle nose pliers, you just need something to twist it..
When you say “it” says torque to 17 lbs. is there a manual we can buy that shows all this stuff?
Also I hate rotating my tires but do it because most of those tires guys don’t really care about another person car…..
yes, there are manuals you can buy, the internet usually has a lot of free information also, it just takes time to do research, people have no Idea how much time I spend trying to find the correct information for them. Appreciate you watching and please subscribe if your not already
@@dannysdiygarage Im a subscriber. and I know how hard it is to find info and that's why I asked. Luckily for me we have the same make , model and yr civic
How about buying a 2013 Volvo xc70 too and make some video on that one :)
I thought about a new project car, however funds are limited and youtube doesn’t pay the bills, but a future project car could happen
Didn't realize the brakes in the back are so puny. Still wish I had them on my LX though.
The disk in the rear do appear to work much better, a lot easier to service also
