And Hikaru always went into an endgame against Magnus which he never does over the board. Magnus is a god of endgame. And Hikaru always went into an endgame. Also I checked some of Hikaru's games on lichess analysis and Hikaru had like 1 inaccuracy and 0 mistake and blunder in few games while Magnus had like 3 inaccuracy 2/1 mistake and 1 blunder.

Hikaru just showed exactly how to create an opening move from white. his first ten moves are perfect every single piece is double or triple protected and the line is incredible. obviously mid game and end game strategy are important and a lot of other good moves happen. but just look at the first 10 moves in minutes 18-19 and you understand why the guy is a grandmaster and ranked 1st or 2nd in the world and won the us 5 times. its hard to attack his side of the board because he's not reacting he's attacking while simultaneously defending. solid try though botez

Raffaele Di Vora engines also take time to make each move though... and in 3|1 you don’t have 10-15 seconds per move. Also don’t forget that Hikaru managed to beat Komodo at its hardest
I like how she explains her move including several scenarios. As well as explaining possible moves of opponents. It’s very nice for begginers who want to learn.

You also have to remember that the reason you got him in the first place was that you weren't playing so bad yourself. So the computer matches you up with him because of how you were doing! That's something to cheer about. And your reaction is priceless!

What's fascinating to me is not the fact that Hikaru had 99% accuracy, but that he only needed 50 seconds for it. He's a speed monster

Just watch the most recent bullet match Nihal had with Hikaru, and the difference is still very big. However, the last time they had a long match, Hikaru adopted Nihal, so he’s getting closer but the ability gap is still large.
