- BioShock is one of the most groundbreaking and influential video games of all time. From its undersea utopia, Rapture, to the horrifying splicers, plasmids, Big Daddy-guarded Little Sisters, and its world-famous twist, the game has left an indelible impact on all who've played it. But do you know all there is to know about BioShock? That's where we aim to prove you wrong. Here are 10 Things You Didn’t Know About BioShock.

Would you kindly make more videos about this franchise
Oh boy, here we go - it's RAPTURE time!
Great jobs Tyler and Liam and of course Ben
Thank you so much!
I highly recommend reading the prequel novel. We get to see Rapture being built until its fall
I appreciate the fact that Ben is the type of adult male who doesn't actually enjoy looking at horrific things. Very cool.
Most people don’t like looking at horrific things, if you enjoy it then I would worry about yourself. Also it has nothing to do with him being a man.
@@nikeeweston There are lots of people who enjoy looking at, like, real rough shit. I don't understand why, but they exist. It's just something I've seen mostly in guys.
I wasn't trying to drag anyone or anything.
@@em_birch no I get it, and yes you’re right and I think you have to be a tad strange to love watching those sick pictures same as those video websites of sick things....baffles me. Sorry I’m blunt as I’m autistic and it comes out like I’m telling someone off. Sorry. I come off as cold and angry...I’m not though.
@@nikeeweston It's fine. I'm familiar with you from seeing you around. I know you're a cool person. :)
But, yeah. Some people are just...strange about that kind of thing. For instance, up until last year there was that "Watch People Die" Reddit, and the very concept of that was baffling to me.
I like knowing Ben is too kind and gentle for that kind of stuff. He and Peter both have always struck me as very kind souls.
@@em_birch oh thank you. I have seen you around too. Yes those types of forums and websites baffle me. Why would you want to witness these things? If it brings them happiness I feel they are mentally disturbed, if it’s a one time thing then I understand, curiosity killed the cat etc. But yes those sites and forums are odd. I’m glad I don’t ‘get’ why some enjoy them.
Omg! One of my favorite books is “Anthem” and I have pronouncing the author’s name as Ann for years!
😖
top 5 games of all time
I always saw the wrench as less of a nod to Half-Life and more of a nod to System Shock 2, which also makes the player pick up a wrench as their first weapon. System Shock 2 was Irrational's first game, and Bioshock is its spiritual successor.
I only recently replayed these games, now I want to play them again! Thanks Triple Jump
Literally playing bioshock right now
No one likes a liar sir!
Nice work boyo!
You have no Idea how I want to play this game, but I want to finish Batman Arkham First
You’ll kick yourself for waiting so long, it’s a fantastic game
I would recommend if you haven't played any do it in timeline order of Infinite, 1 then 2. Would advise not doing Burial at Sea dlc to avoid spoilers but if you watched this video all the way through there aren't any really in it
@@Kaiser8513 Don't do it in that order. Play them in the order that they were released. They were released in that order for a reason.
@@yourgameisstupid to end on disappointment?
Covid can get in the BIN....Keep up the Great work TJ :)
COVID - 19 Would You Kindly get in the bin. And stay there.
Awesome video! Bioshock for me is one of the games with 10/10 score.
Oh SHIT! Before I even watch this, thank you. BioShock is arguably one of my favourite games of all time. Amazing. Excellent.
im just playing Bioshock 2
Got bioshock in my games to play pile. I'll get to it soon enough...
It's not only a great game, but it'll be over in about 12 hours, making it easier to clear from the backlog
The twist was always there in front of you!
As much as I love Bioshock, the twist isn't all that shocking if you've played System Shock 2.
Which a lot of people did not unfortunately, so it's still pretty damn surprising.
For some reason I didn't feel the twist was anything special. On the other hand, the infinite twist truly boggled my mind. I did play infinite first though. And the way everyone was hyping up the first game to me ( by saying infinite is nothing compared to the first one and such) I was expecting something much more.
@Kellen Nicholson I also played Inside by Playdead before Bioshock and it had a rather similar message ( the player is the one being controlled by the game, at least that's what I got from one of the video essays). So I guess that was the reason why the message in Bioshock didn't come up as original to me (of course Bioshock came before Inside)
Love all the ‘Bioshock’ games, I have my 2 Big Daddies one lights up. Cracking games. Shame the bloke had to go and rip apart the company after ‘Bioshock Infinite’
I played Borderlands for the first time before Bioshock so when the first CL4PTP unit repair quest triggered I thought Angel was just being polite. When I replayed it after Bioshock I just about threw my controller through the screen
Wow... I just started Bioshock for the second time literally last night. Weird timing...
I hereby bestow honorary Irishman upon you.
10 things I didn’t know about Bioshock?? Challenge accepted sir!!! I’ll be honest if there’s actually something I didn’t know after I watch.
Bonus fact 3&4 were new to me. Great video!!
... Bo Burnham in Triple Jump? On a scale from 1 to 0, I'm happy.
Oh wow the game is inspired by Rand? 2020 and the world finally knows...
Really desperate to hit that 10 by including #6 eh?
Crap I'm early. Gotta get a joke that'll get all the likes, uh. OH YEAH, HERE WE GO, WOULD YOU KINDLY? TIME! nailed it.
Me: *literally going to sleep*

Listception?
shouldn't you guys make it easier to find the new content (and no not turning on notifications i dont use that at all)? i genuinely love what you guys put out but its a crap shoot when new things will pop up on my recommendations and my memory is horrible. i always forget to check the video tab and just scroll down the main page, why is it seemingly oldest first???
BEN DO YOU LIKE BIO SHOCK? is it a big daddy or a BIG MOMMMMMMMYYYY?
i love u
man how can they have fucked it up with infinite??
also in half life opposing force your first weapon is a wrench
12:18 "i have never seen star trek"....

"Thing's you didn't know about Bioshock"
No1 Latterly the whole message of the twist.
I swear this channel...
...Did you mean "literally"?
@@em_birch
no!!!
I clearly meant "Littering"
@@Ristyo1992 ..."Litmus"?
@@em_birch Liberal!
@@Ristyo1992 No no no, it's "LIBEL".
Objectivism sucks
Pretty much all ideologies are mind cancer.
The really crappy final boss and endings killed this game for me. I enjoyed it up until then, but man, it shit the bed in the final act.
Tis but a wet fart compared to the manure factory that is the end of Mass Effect 3 hehe
@@acmiguens I still haven't made it to the end of Mass Effect 3, and I'm in no hurry.
