Anupam Mittal always takes big bets. He bets on founders if the business is early stage that he had told in an interview himself. While others actually saw that these two coming from an ordinary and non technical background they created a tech product line-up as a flaw, he saw it as their accomplishment and focused on sales which is growing exponentially.
Anupam sees profitable business to get an equity and to make money out of it with royalty or debt... debt if the company is profitable but total addressable market is not sure and equity with royalty if the company is profitable and he sees slight potential that it might make it big but its still risky.. so first let me secure my money and double or triple it with royalty and also get equity for future.
yes but there is a reason why other sharks backed out. these guys havent really sold to the general public and their products are only selling for corporate gifting which means people will use it as long as it works and throw it out. smart luggage is a bad idea and its only useful in airports, tracking of wallet is nice but the selfie camera button seems like a gimmick more than anything.
But I think they are generating revenue and for that reason Anupam is in this deal until and unless they are generating revenue it's a good bet. However, I have personally checked their products and they are legit, this made in India brand is surely going global very soon, I can bet. @@vivejk4443

At the bare minimum, that 15 lacs Anupam invested would grow upto 1.5 crore.. which is 10x times he’s investing. But if they succeed big time, it can be 15cr too. Such a smart investment by Anupam on this.

Luggage and bags like this can mainly be used inside airports and most only expats or officials might consider using it which is an even more niche market. competitors have better designs and its not hard for them to copy this tech and beat this company like the sharks said. the wallet with tracking feature is nice and it is the best selling product for corporate
