    I have subclass 600 visitor visa. And I want to come to Australia and apply onshore for August intake. Have all funds and no gaps, all the documents are okay. But can I still get rejected? I have only 2 months left for my classes to start. Are 2 months enough for this process? Please help

      Yes, it is possible to convert a subclass 600 visitor visa to a student visa while in Australia, but there is a risk of rejection. Two months might be tight for the process, which includes application submission, biometrics, health checks, and processing times. Start immediately and consider consulting with an immigration advisor for guidance.

    Sir, any idea on Indian onshore applicants applying for study visa for 1st time need biometrics? My applied study visa, we have been asked to provide biometrics but I find no option or way to do it with VFS in Australia and in India.

      When converting a tourist visa to a student visa in Australia, it's common for the process to include a requirement for biometrics, especially for first-time applicants. This requirement is part of Australia's standard visa application procedures to ensure the security and integrity of the immigration process.
      Biometrics Requirement: Most Indian applicants are required to provide biometrics (fingerprints and a photograph) as part of their visa application process.
      In Australia: If you're currently in Australia and need to provide biometrics, you should typically be able to do this through a Visa Application Centre (VAC) operated by VFS Global or a similar service provider.
      In India: If you are outside Australia, in India, for instance, you would generally go to a VFS Global center in India to provide your biometrics.
      If you're finding difficulty in locating the option or way to provide biometrics through VFS in Australia, here are some steps you can take:
      Check the Instruction Letter: Ensure that you carefully read any instruction letter or email received from the Department of Home Affairs regarding your biometric requirements. It should contain information on how and where to provide biometrics.
      Contact VFS Global: Reach out directly to VFS Global in Australia for guidance. They should provide information on how to schedule an appointment for biometrics collection.
      Contact Australian Immigration Authorities: If you're still unclear, contact the Australian Department of Home Affairs for assistance. They can provide specific instructions based on your situation.
      Visit the VFS Global Website: The VFS Global website usually has detailed information on the biometrics collection process, including how to make an appointment and what to bring.

    If I come to Australia on visit visa is it possible to take admission in a course more than 3 months? As one is allowed to take a course of only 3 months on visitor visa. Is there any chance to convert my visit visa to full time student visa longer than 3 months?

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  Před měsícem

      Yes, it is possible to convert your visitor visa to a student visa while you are in Australia. You need to receive an offer of admission for a course longer than three months and obtain a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE). Once you have the CoE, you can apply for a student visa (subclass 500) before your visitor visa expires. Good luck!

    40+age can be converted in tourist to students visa

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  Před 7 měsíci

      Yes, it is possible for individuals, including those over 40 years old, to convert a tourist visa to a student visa in Australia. This process involves several important steps and considerations:
      Eligibility for Conversion: Generally, people who are in Australia on a tourist or visitor visa can apply for a student visa. However, the feasibility of this conversion depends on the type of tourist visa you hold and your individual circumstances, including your travel history and records in Australia.
      Required Documents: To convert your tourist visa to a student visa, you'll need to provide a range of documents. These include a valid Confirmation of Enrollment (CoE) from an educational institution, a completed visa application form, your passport, proof of English language proficiency, evidence of sufficient funds, Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) policy, academic transcripts, health examination results, and character assessment documents.
      Consideration of the Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) Requirement: This is a crucial part of the application, where you need to demonstrate that your intention to stay in Australia is temporary for the purpose of study.
      Financial Stability: You must show that you have enough funds to cover your tuition fees, living expenses, and travel costs for yourself and any accompanying family members.
      Bridging Visa: If your tourist visa expires before the student visa is granted, you might be eligible for a Bridging Visa A (BVA), which allows you to stay in Australia lawfully while your student visa application is being processed.
      Visa Conversion Process: The conversion process can be complex, and it's recommended to seek assistance from an education consultant or migration agent. They can help navigate the process, deal with potential complexities, and increase the chances of a successful application.

    What’s about subclass 600

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  Před 5 měsíci

      For individuals in Australia on a Subclass 600 Tourist visa who wish to convert to a Student visa, it's essential to be aware of the Australian Department of Home Affairs regulations. While holding a Subclass 600 visa, you are primarily in Australia as a tourist, and this visa typically does not allow for study beyond three months.
      To switch from a tourist visa to a student visa within Australia, you would need to apply for a Student visa (Subclass 500). This process involves:
      Enrolling in a Course: You must be accepted into a full-time course registered with the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS).
      Visa Application: Submit an application for a Student visa (Subclass 500) online through the Department of Home Affairs website.
      Meet Visa Requirements: This includes providing evidence of sufficient funds, English language proficiency, Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC), and meeting the Genuine Temporary Entrant requirement.
      Check Visa Conditions: Some Subclass 600 visas may have a 'No Further Stay' condition (8503), which prohibits the holder from applying for another visa (except for a protection visa or a temporary visa of a specified kind) while they are in Australia. If your visa has this condition, you would need to apply for a waiver before you can apply for a Student visa within Australia.
