Amanda, YOU have brought some extreme Joy to a 75 year old man who has gone for 6 day adventure trips, camping as I went with my '73 TX 500 Yamaha. You brought back the memory of cooking on my little Optimus gasoline stove and the joy of taking in a motel to escape rain and exhaustion. The memories you have created for yourself will live on forever. You need to take adventures like this while you still have your health. I have three motorcycles that do a lot of sitting these days, but I would love to try this all again. Your video captures all the beauty of the USA from places I have never been.
I’ve come along a bit late but really glad I found this. You are an inspiration. 1. Travelling alone. 2. Your positive attitude. 3. Completing an epic journey. 4. And putting this video together and all that involves. Thank you so much. 🩷🩷
The best and worst part of a trip in leaving and arriving home safe. A little sore and with a true sense of accomplishment. I love your long form version of this adventure. Glad you made this for us. We riders rode along with you singing joyfully in our helmets. 😆 🤣 hello from snowy northern Ontario Canada. Planning my next adventure with you as my inspiration 💕
Thank you ☺️
Great for us to be there & you to take us. My favorite shot is the dragonfly chilling on a cable. We should all slow down long enough to appreciate something NEW.
Thank you more than words can express for this wonderful video. I'm 73 years old and hope to do a similar motorcycle trip if the time alloted me doesn't expire. But should the sands in the hourglass run out your video gave me much of what I hope to experience. May God Bless you and those you love. With deep heartfelt sincerity, Jeff aka "Jersey Jeff."
P.S. My friend Walter and me planned a similar motorcycle trip, but just prior to our intended adventure Walter passed away.
I so enjoyed this video. You captured the vibe of the freedom and joy of riding long distance so well. Keep doing the thing! Blessings from Oz.
Thank you so much!
OMG Amanda. I watching this again on my phone instead of TV so I can leave a comment. I was a big hairy ball of stress from life and I told myself I would watch this video after my work was done. I finished and sat on the couch and as soon as I heard "hello beautiful people" I felt so relaxed and the stress melted away. Thank you. Keep up the great work.
Awww! Thank you 😊
Wonderful ride! We lived in Montana for 30 years and road all that country through the years. I’m really enjoying your videos.
It’s great to see a happy family 😊
Wow, what an incredible trip. Also you did a wonderful job editing this video, which I imagine was almost as immense a task as the trip itself. The trip and video are very inspirational and entertaining.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great to see the old video in a longer format. This video was how I found your channel and started watching. I went to the same beach the year before as my 1st multi day camping trip.
Awesome! Thank you!
Yes you DID!
Amanda, you are inspiring others. Nice work!
😊 thank you
Thank you for sharing your adventure, it's such a joy to see someone so committed, strong and passionate having so much fun and even in the harder tests you just kept going forward with a big beautifly contagious smile.
I will share this with my daughter and hope to do a trip like that with her on our bikes.
All the best.
From Mexico City.
So amazing! What a haul!!! Too many favorite segments to list, but almost all of them involve your laughing/smiling & enjoying the moment. Such a positive/can (and did!) do attitude while being "real" through all the ups & ups & ups with downs sprinkled throughout. I have *no idea* how you physically survived riding that far in so short a time on your beautiful CB500X ... Yowza!!! My bones hurt just trying to imagine it! Way to "Get out & do the thing" ... sooo motivating & cool!!!! 🏍💨
In 2021 my eldest sister & I (we're 15 years apart) decided to go on a road trip to states we haven't been to yet. At the end of September, I drove to Myrtle Beach from Florida & we packed up her Honda Fit (not quite a motorcycle, but close).
We drove west, camping most nights with our destination being western South Dakota. I threw out my tent in Iowa due to it being old & a windy thunderstorm, rough night. Next night we stayed in eastern SD at a hotel next to a sporting goods store that was selling out their summer stuff. I got a new tent for 75% off, $40! I used it that night camping in the Badlands amongst the prairie dogs, coyotes & roaming bison, best night of the trip.
We stayed at the KOA in Hot Springs SD for 3 days & did the usual sites. We drove to Tulsa to visit our cousins who had just moved there from Canada. I helped build the foundation & floor for a big shed they were building. We then headed to SC & then I went home. We went 5000 miles over 3 weeks. Our siblings thought we'd be at each other's throats, but we only had cross words once, at 3AM in Iowa tearing down our campsite (understandable). Best trip ever.
I hope you continue to find the joy in life. Be safe & have fun.
I am with you on a motorcycle trip across the USA that lasted over 2 hours. It was a wonderful drama. Thank you.🤩
Glad you enjoyed it!
Such a great adventure you went on, and you made it back home. That’s even better, thanks for sharing it with us, I love watching your videos.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Girl, you're inspiring this dude to follow suit - and I'm trying to balance whether I can do a full tour on a non-adventure-touring bike. I'm thinking the Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC. 20 years ago (this year) I rode an old 81' GS550 from Maine to Washington St, via Kentucky. I'm not unexperienced, but I certainly didn't do it right, nor was I really "touring" - was more just sprinting across the country. So much of your content to consume this summer and thru the winter as I plan for next year!
Congratulations on completing your 24 days US LOOP Rides. Ride safe always. I am one of your followers all the way from the Philippines :)
Amanda I loved watching this, especially you being able to ride with your Brother and your Dad
I loved watching this when you did this and posted in segments, and I loved watching this in its entirety! Just Simple Amazing as you!
Thank you for sharing this, once again keeping us inspired to Get Out And Do The Thing! ML&R
Thank you so much!
Thanks to HerTwoWheels for introducing us to your channel! Exciting! We did 6,500 mile " Out West Trip, in our Rav 4, in August"! We appreciate the stamina the bike trip takes!! AMAZING CONTENT!
Thanks so much 😊👍
Wow you really crushed some miles those last few days! Great trip and video. Best part about coming home is a shower that doesn't require flip-flops and sleeping in my own bed! :)
Definitely!!
If only the rest of the world would take a lesson from your beautiful attitude, your upbeat out look, and the way you treat others, I adore your smile, it seems to brighten your surroundings my friend....safe travels, rubber down girl, always.🤙
😊 thanks
So nice to see your ride content again!
Thanks again for sharing!
Glad you enjoy it!
A friend just sent me this link and I SO enjoyed it. I've ridden across that bridge over the Mississippi River and it was scary AF with the bad pavement, big truck and no shoulder, all the while trying to sightsee! Safe travels to you!
I have started watching this video and love the candidness and humanity. A personal travelog. The Badlands are mind blowing.
Enjoyed watching your trip. Your amazing positivity come hell or high water is infectious. Well done, an inspiration to us all 👍
I loved watching your x-country (both ways!) trip. Truly enjoyed the daily-ish post ride realism. Tired, hungry and what the heck. I started riding when I was 40 and had just been diagnosed with MS. Started out on a 2001 BMW F650GS. I was terrified of it! Never got really comfortable on anything technical (off road) but then we moved to Florida from WY and sold the bikes because…Florida…but now I’m getting the bug for my last chapter to be spent on 2 wheels. Will be 65 in November and researching the best bike to make a similar trip to yours but with a bit more time (retired ya’ know after 40 years of workin’) and probably more dirt. Although I’m thinking 60% paved back roads and 40% dirt but NO single-track! Any suggestions? Be well and adventure ON! You’ll be my age before you know it - it happened to me! 😊❤
Amanda: you have a great ability to produce and edit video, create a great narrative and you are incredibly cute! Thank you for sharing your journey with us!!!
Your positivity and joy for motorcycles is infectious! Love that smile and laugh. I would love to meet up with you and join u on your adventures! I live in Kansas City, litterally in the middle of the map.
So looking forward to your next trip!
Great video thank you very well done I love your videos thanks for taking us along cheers to ya.
Thank you! Cheers!
Wow I’m so said your almost home and I’m going to miss watching and listening to you and your trip x
I'm planning on a pnw tour next spring and your channel is an inspiration
Road my Harley Davidson Road King from Seattle to New York for my 73rd birthday Magpie!
9-days. Some 550-mile days.
Anyway - great job on a CB500x. I'm proud of you!
I too love showing hospitality to people from out of town and out of state.
Love the Video!! Also love that Your Dad is in the video.
Amanda just felt compelled to let you know I really enjoyed watching this video I know the effort that has to go into editing as we have recently started a CZcams Channel in Australia and your editing is outstanding. We are heading over to Sturgis this year, I would love to catch up with you if you are heading over as well. Keep up the great work. Love how natural you are. Stay upright and enjoy life to the fullest. Lisa and Whitey That Harley Couple 🏍
We love your videos!!! You are so positive and always in a good mood you make us want to be better people. You Rock sister! I hope that one day we get to meet you in person!
I've seen a LOT of mountains in our travels years ago, but I have to say the Smokies may not be the biggest, but they are THE most beautiful in the Carolina's!
I loved watching your video this morning it's 25 degrees right now I'm Wichita Kansas. You are an inspiration.
You are a very strong girl with no fear god bless you.😊
I love the power ranger suit!
Glad I found you from watching a video with you and Doodle in that cool motorcycle class. Thank you for posting this, I'm not one for traveling unless I have something to do in at that location. I have to say though, you and Doodle have got me wanting to do something like this. I've never ridden and motorcycle unless you can count and urb-e as one. LOL not, I'm getting my first motorcycle in a couple of hrs. Used and not a powerhouse, just something I hope to learn on. Maybe someday I'll be able to something like what you did. Again, thanks for posting, very inspiring.
Really good vid. Loved the visuals, narration, music, everything. Thanks for the upload!
Glad you enjoyed it!
You DID THE THING!!! Really enjoyed watching this nonstop! Great music pairing. Even better watching this the 2nd time.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I enjoyed watching you trip across the U.S. and back....thanks for sharing🙂!
Glad you enjoyed it
You are the happiest CZcamsr! And you have made some very good friends. You are very fortunate to be doing what you love ❤️
Thank you so much!
Awesome. First time on your channel, this was the first video I clicked on. Didn't see the 2hr time until I got sucked in and binged. Very cool, looking forward to my first long distance rides this summer. Thanks for the inspiration.
Great video I love the pure excitement in your face seeing the Atlantic Ocean. I grew up in rhode island so I'm so use to it. Living in vegas for the past 20 years I miss it sometimes.
Awesome Stuff! Great video production and content! Thanks!
I absolutely love your channel and watching your confidence grow with your travels. I'm no way in your area of adventures but you inspired me along with some other women riders to start my own channel.
Thank you and for staying so 'true ' to yourself and what makes your adventures wonderful to watch.
Ride safe, Lady J Rider
Thank you so much!

Hi Amanda!
A so beautiful video. My eyes can’t left the screen before the end! Last year I do my first long trip here in Europe. Switzerland to North cape and back home. I feel in your video what feel, what I live during my trip. It remember a lot of emotions and sentiments… Thanks a lot for your work. You are a very beautiful person…
I wish you a long and beautiful way.
Regards Jo.
I loved your fun and joyful adventure! It is helping stoke the flames for my next MC adventures this coming summer! Thanks for sharing!
Great to hear!
Looking forward to watching you ride again
A really great video, well done for everything. Any viewer who doesn’t appreciate quite how far 730 miles in a day on a motorbike is certainly hasn’t tried to hit 500 themselves.
Thank you very much!
This trip has given you memories that will last a lifetime. Lovely video, thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it
Wow those bird in the forest sound amazing.
My trip to Alaska, i was stuck in Vernal UT, for 5 days, over 4th of July. The brewewery is awesome there.
Rea!!y enjoyed you and your brother country bike trip. Thank you
Waoh, that was an exciting video, rocking sound track and a joyful dance. Well done
Thank you very much!
On the cb500x what is your top speed on the highways? Amanda you are an INSPIRATION!!!! Your channel is excellant!!
I can't speak to top speed, but the cb will do 80 no problem as long as there isn't a really bad head wind like crossing Texas
Awesome video, ty for sharing your adventures,I love it!!!!
Thanks for watching!
Fantastic editing and production Miss!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for sharing your adventure.
Randomly came across you video after posting my own Bitterroot content. I was like I know that landscape! LOL Stay safe on the roads.
I very much enjoyed watching your ride across America. The video production is outstanding. I like the song selection on the way home; it is very nice. I especially like the video and song selection by Loving Caliber after you left your friends in Colorado (one hour forty two min mark) . I have listened to that portion a couple of times. Congrats on your determination and achievement. Whatever happened, you took in stride, and adapted.
Thank you very much!
One of the best bike channel that i watch every time absolutely brilliant Bloody well done
just came across your videos watched both your cross country rides, amazing ! your bright and funny love your infectious smile and the silly funny little dances . lmao at that i am gonna watch more of your videos. stay safe
Glad you like them!
Howdy from Texas.. 🤠 lifelong motorcyclist here. Keep riding ma'am
Great picture. You have a nice motorcycle it matches all your camping gear. Glad you made it back safely.
Thanks 👍
Great idea and video! I have been thinking about the same kind of trip. Just backwards, I live in Richmond and go to the Outer Banks for vacation. Cool coincidence! Lol. Keep on living and enjoying!
I used to live in Stevensville MT and loved driving over the same pass you drove to Philipsburg and the Sweets Palace. Even did the sapphire “mining” at the Sweets Palace. On a motorcycle would be even better. I live in PA these days and miss MT. Neat video.
"Red Lobster White Trash" 🤣😂 Wow, fantastic video of Devils Tower! Your videos are so inspiring Amanda, thank you!
Hi your video came up in my list, so watched , with interest, I live in the uk 🇬🇧, and just 3 and a half miles from the Triumph motorcycle factory , , my son has a street triple, I had a speed triple , till my heart attack , 6 yrs ago , through I’ll health , strength and weight loss , I’ve reduced to a 125 after many yrs a motorcycle rider of larger capacity bikes - however keep smiling and congratulations on ur bike tour through some bad weather and many miles , cheers Shane uk 🇬🇧
Awesome video, I loved it. Wondering if one of the tents with like the motorcycle "garage" would be a welcome upgrade. Espeically when you wake up in the rain. With all that said, you are amazing! This was such an adventure.
Thanks Seth!
The motorcycle garage tents just aren't really up my alley for trips like these, they're huge packed compared to my tent. Not worth the extra space and weight that it takes up when those wet days are really only a small percentage of a whole trip.
Good girl, Good ADV journey with great family. its too sweet.
Just happened across this video last night and am now subscribed to you! Great video, especially for a two hour video. I’ve been watching a lot of Alaska rides since friends and I have a ride to Prudhoe planned for next June. We’ve all done big rides before but this is going to be different. A definite bucket list ride for me.
Anyway, great job and keep it up. I’m about to watch your IronButt ride now!
Glad you enjoyed! 😊 Welcome to the Magpie fam!
Great Trip and Editing
Are you saying people out there don't like Red Lobster? I've never heard of such a person!
Yes, there are, and no I don't understand them either.
@@AstheMagpieFlies 😂😂😂
thanks for the show awesome ride you have done in one ride what most folks long to do ole man fro mississippi and a winger 97 1500 new to me thanks again
What an amazing trip thank you for sharing
My longest ride was from Sturgis to Detroit 1321 miles in 22 hours and that included a 90 minute nap at a rest stop. I was crazy thinking it wasn’t a big deal until I finished it. I will NEVER do that again.
Your so very brave I Envy you , what a great venture. I getting ready to turn 65 an retire , purchase a 2017 klr 650 getting it ready for my big adventure . Be safe
That is the way to live life good on you !!!
If you get a chance come ride Southwest Virginia and East Tennessee!! Great roads!
Enjoyed the Vid. We almost crossed paths . I was doing a trip from Albuquerque to Pittsburgh Sept 2020!
So love this! Isnt there any of your utube followers who could join up and guide you on your trips? Show you restaurants or places to camp!? I am sure they would like to spend time with you
Thanks a lot for showing me Your beautiful country. Best regards from the north of Germany, Rüdiger😘
Thanks for watching!
Great review.😍
I’m writing you as I watch this video. You were in my neck of the woods when you filmed the Outer Banks. You actually passed my house on your way in. If you ever decide to come back please feel free to hit me up and I will show you around. There is so much more history to the Outer Banks.
I just finished your trip blog'...thanks for the time'...youi are so way tgoo kewl....
24:26 right behind you on this hairpin is the trailhead to the Cathedral Spires trail (highly recommended hike, you won't regret it). I hiked that trail in September 2022 and spent about a week around Rapid City on vacation. Such beautiful sights. Also went to Deadwood (first time).
Great vid and props for riding through Chicago. Between the worst roads in the United States, no sight lines and most drivers driving like they are playing Grand Theft Auto it’s a skills test. Yes, I’m from Chicago
Well said!
Miss Amanda I really enjoy watching your videos may the Lord bless you young lady you're really fun.
Great trip enjoyed watching. Stay safe
Next time your on the east coast you have to check out the outer banks. Such a beautiful ride
Wow what a mammoth trip, thank you for taking us a long to 😊
