    FYI, loosen the inner bolts on the inside of the lower arms otherwise you can tear the bush from forcing the lower arm down to get the spring out, requires getting a fresh wheel alignment but you will need one anyways from lowering the vehicle

      Hello Nic,
      I saw your comment because I am looking to getting springs as well on my 2022 corolla, to your question, I think all corollas have that sound you are mentioning. I test drove the corolla from 3 different dealerships and it made the sound when turning slowly on the parking lot. Might be the wheel locking up but it most likely kills your doubt if the spring is whats causing the issue

    When I search to buy SuperDowns, I'm only seeing springs for the Hatchback. Can the RSR superdowns be installed on the Corolla XSE Sedan version?

    • @Firm400
      @Firm400  Před 3 lety +1

      Since we installed these on the SE model, both the SE & XSE trim levels share the same specs with the addition of extra features offered with the XSE model. So with that being said the RSR Superdowns lowering springs should fit the XSE models as well.

    • @Firm400
      @Firm400  Před 2 měsíci

      The “suspension” upgrade on this Corolla are “lowering springs” which only dialed in at the manufactured height it is set at. For “suspension” upgrade with “coilovers” you can adjust the desired height level for coilovers.

      @Firm400  Před 7 měsíci

      Hi thanks for watching our video. This was a customers car as the customer was happy with the overall installation. There hasn’t been any issues brought up by the customer. Aftermarket installations will always have its pros and cons. That’s why if you are on the fence about a suspension upgrade we would highly recommend you consult with a professional who can assist you in achieving the proper ride height that you desire and dial in the suspension the way you would want it. However there are a few key things you may have to consider and just know that everyday roads and driveways are never perfect so you’re going to have to accept the reality of it and be a more cautious and skilled driver when operating your vehicle that now has modified / aftermarket suspension. Keep in mind you have to now be more mindful on the road scanning ahead of potholes / road debris / uneven pavement / speed bumps / driveways etc. those now have to factor in if you decide to lower your vehicle.

If you are all about safety you would of put a chain from the control arm to the spring to keep it from shooting out and killing someone if you were worried about safety! Just because you put a video on youtube does not make you a expert so please don't tell people to not do this job on there own if you are going to display how to do it wrong!!!!
