  • My buddy bought a 2020 Toyota Corolla and had exhaust put on it. It’s a five-speed manual. The exhaust is a resonator delete with a magnaflow muffler and a 2 ½ inch heat treated tip. All the piping is 2 ½ inch from the cat back.
Stay tuned and don’t forget to comment, like and subscribe. I am going to be throwing together mini-series of all the vehicles I work on and all other vehicles we work on including my any of my friends.

If you do an exhaust get custom headers all the way back and get a good air intake as well. Could also add a throttle controller to get better response time to avoid lag from the pedal to computer response time. Every millisecond matters especially when having a cvt transmission. Upgrade the suspension to a lightweight adjustable set up. You could also upgrade your brake rotors and pads and then switch to lightweight carbon rims to reduce unsprung weight. You should definitely get the ecu tuned by a tune shop to increase the hp and tq once exhaust mods are made to truly see results.

@@bossadamsgarage There's a company in Columbus Ohio called Thorton Chip Tuning. Their computer chips plug into your OBD2 port. They claim that their Stage 3-chip gives all cars a 30 horse power gain and a 5mpg increase in milage. But you have to use the highest possible octane gasoline for when the chip is used for your Toyota Corolla. I have a chip in my little 2007 Hyundai Elantra. I have never dyno tested the chip on my car. Thorton Chip says that their chip does not void your factory warranty and no Check engine lights will ever come on. Here in central California we have 100˚ to 110˚ weather in the summer months. But in the winter I can defiantly feel the extra horse power from my car with the Thorton chip. I love your video and I will be replacing my 2007 Hyundia Elantra with a newer 2020 to 2023 Toyota Corolla. The very 1st modification that I do is always a Cat-back exhaust system. Your 2.5" exhaust is really deep, nice, and very impressive to me.. I can't wait to do the same at my local muffler shop. Thanks for the video...
