Yes Patti's Voice is Astonishing. It is Incredible. She is a Fantastic Vocalist and Amazing stage Presence. You never see performances like this. Its rare to have singers who can sing like this anymore. Yes Resonance is just that!
I'm glad this was posted - I prefer the Sutton Foster version (I just adore her interpretation of Reno) because she seems more involved with the dancing and I think the tapping is amazing, but it's interesting comparing the two. I feel sorry for the poor girls in the chorus of this one - the costume designer was obviously a man :).

Sutton Foster is more like a Marlene Monroe Verizon of the 40's and 50;s, which isn't how that era actually was. Patti has the true 40's and 50's voice of that time.
