It's time somebody got the thinking right. Super Eagles MUST never play in Abuja. The weather there saps the Europe based players and they tire out and become lethargic by the second half. This has been our bane for a while now and I'm surprised that no one is thinking along this line. You can't expect Europe based players to play at top form for 90 minutes in Abuja's harsh and extreme weather conditions. The place is just too hot for people who have already acclimatised to the weather in Europe.
But the truth is that, if Dey can work on Abuja stadium to b like this uyo. Abuja should actually be our home stadium. Every country in the world always have their home stadium in the capital👌
What if the actual FIFA or CAF's competition will be hosted by a country with a harsher climatic conditions than Abuja's?
The super eagles need to have enough time to practice in such a different weather condition and at least, reacclimatise before the actual match.
In Europe, the training is always rigorous and done on varieties of artificially created weather conditions, including inside pools of water.
It is all about determination and commitment. There counterparts also play in temperate climates of Europe and more.
The infrastures and equipment should be the focus than the weather condition.
The stadia in Nigeria are in a deplorable condition.
