I feel for Joe I mean Alex was a special player for the Yankees he has made his mistakes he has owned up to it and I think he has done a good job repairing his image with the fans of NY and I understand Joe's emotions he feels for Alex because those two have had a good relationship over the years so it's hard for Joe to deal with Alex's retirement that bond they have is special and something I know both Alex and Joe will cherish
Outstanding from Girardi. What a special moment from an ultimate class guy.
joe girardis is the best manager in baseball
We will miss you A-Rod
he knows that a-rod has plenty left in tank but the owner get rid of him that's why Joe is so emotional he never expected a-rod to exit that way.. A-ROD you'll be missed..
a fraud had nothing left in the tank he never had in the tank he is a juiced up phony asshole
phil licitra stfu dumbfucks arod is one of the greatest to play the game steroids or not fucking haters
@@axxion231 You Spelled Barry Bonds wrong….
what a great manager
You’re a class act, Joe! 👍❤️
baseball makes me cry sometimes
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Lmao I Hate to join you but so true. 😂
Girardi's just doing what he's been told by his bosses. He's just the executor. What The Yankees did to A-Rod was very classless. I remember how they treated Posada too...
Oh how I miss Girardi. I miss seeing my manager get fired up. How could you deny this guy doesn’t want to win?
I've seen A-Rod in the sports shows, he can still hit and maneuver.
it's very clear to me at least that this entire charade has taken its toll on Girardi... from denying Alex the chance to play very publicly and very aggressively to then breaking down at the final game... it seems to me that the Yankees asked Girardi to be as much as a dick as possible to Alex in his final days as a Yankee to send Alex the very clear message that they as an organization did not respect nor care for Alex after all he put them through... I think here we see a manager who genuinely cares for Alex despite his horrible past... I think it pained him greatly to see Alex forced out the way he was and that he himself played a role in making Alex's last days with the organization anything but nice by denying him playing time which I believe was a direct order straight from the top... this whole thing was a mess... it teaches you that ultimately cheaters and liars never truly win
Girardi don't worry it's all good u made the right choice
He did it for Rivera and Derek. He had all three of them on kne team
They gave him his only world series as a manager, I think he has a big attachment with them. He also even did it with CC
@@johndamario2546Girardi was long gone when CC retired.
It’ll be cool if Aaron Judge met Alex Rodreguiez
Give him an Oscar!
Luke Kuan i agree with u
THERE'S NO CRYING IN BASEBALL!!!
girardi honna be fire too like joe torres
go back to rooting for the lazy mets
yup..I'm sure he won't forget his final days being benched..
I miss joe. He knew the front office wanted to do arod dirty on his way out and he made a way to give him his yankee farewell.
Great actor , wonderful performance
Alex Rodriquez deserves to have jersy retire by NY Yankees,he got us last chip in 2009
The most dishonest and divisive baseball player in history is Rodriguez, no plaques, no retired #, just get out and good riddance. As for 09, that was the least you could do and I would trade it instantly for a Aaron Boone not getting hurt playing a stupid game of basketball.
Wouldn't say dishonest. If you took peds would u just come out and say you did and don't even bother saying you wouldn't take it because everybody juiced when he did. And if your the shit like he was, you got all the right in the world to act like your the shit
+Houston Snelbaker Tell that to Randy Levine, the Yankees organization and MLB.
shut your fucking dumbass up
+MrQbenDanny He has definetly made amends and repaired relationships within the entire organization and mlb. He's been a role model since his return lmao so idk what your saying lmao. The Yankees wouldn't have paid him 275 million dollars for 10 years if they didn't like him lmao
+Houston Snelbaker The past is always present in baseball.
I miss joe… meanwhile im staring at this bum Boone that’s all layed pack and is satisfied with a wildcard game L… laughing and shit after the game… Yankees need a manger with more emotion and care
This guy don't care
He faking all his crying
his a better actor then alpacino
What a manipulating character who cares only his own power in the organization with abundantly sycophantic coaching decisions over the last 7 years but the future of team and players, the Yankees are doomed with this guy.
So by that logic Joe Girardi runs the Yankees. It was his choice what to do with Arod not Hal's or Cashmans. You know as much about the Yankees as I do to flying. Clown!
Every single fan of every team thinks they should fire the manager except for cubs fans
lm not yankees fan anymore ,now let's go mets!
You never were if you can just switch like that

+Houston Snelbaker lets be honest no one is actually a Yankees fan unless you're actually a New Yorker
+Kyle Magersupp I've been to New York once in my life and I'm without a doubt s Yankee fan lmao
+Houston Snelbaker you THINK you're a Yankees fan.
crocodile tears effin joke
