- Every Ejection for Joe Girardi as New York Yankees skipper! He will be missed. He’s one of the greatest managers of all time and had some of the most epic meltdowns in baseball. 10 years strong as Yankees manager. Won a World Series in 2009. Won manager of the year. Made the playoffs 6 of his 10 seasons.

No matter what you think of Joe or the Yankees you can’t deny Joe always had his players back. Right or wrong he would run out of that dugout in a second.
tinyman520 isn’t his cold relationship with his players why he got fired
Noah Culbreth maybe? But he still ran out faster than any other manager to try and save his players from ejection...
tinyman520 sure but clearly at the end of the day it wasn’t enough. If it was they would’ve resigned him. For all you know he is great at defending his players on the field but does little to nothing to connect with them off the field. The example I remember hearing was he had a really cold relationship with Gary Sanchez, which I’ll give joe credit, Sanchez kinda seems like a douche. That being said though it’s joes job to connect with him and build an effective relationship with him and understand his needs as a player, and according to the Yankees he did not fulfill that job to a satisfactory manner. So all these people sucking joes dick kinda look stupid considering even the Yankees organization didn’t think he was that great

This video made me a fan. I quit watching baseball after 12 years old and happened to catch this video, I love Joe.
Joe Girardi has got to be the most animated manager in baseball history, and I honestly miss him being with the Yankees.
That's a hard one. He's definitely one of the more animated managers. I also know Lou Piniella, Jim Leyland, Don Zimmer, and Billy Martin were very animated with their arguments as well. Martin was even suspended for throwing dirt at an umpire.
He was a great manager that succeeded with old and tired rosters.
Animated managers? You forgot Earl Weaver.
joe "he got his money's worth" girardi
Joe "veins bulging" Girardi
Come on, the only Joe that works with, is Rogan :p
He's the new Phillies manager. We need a kick in the butt here.
Joe "Standing there doin' Nothin" Girardi
Joe the goat girardi
Girardi standing up for Arod in Boston was his finest moment

*Gayest
@@mattsharpe2861 Ryan Dempster was so bad at pitching he couldn't even hit him with the first pitch. So bad.
@@FantasyTeamAdvisors Dempster was a great pitcher with an incredible career.
@@thecaynuck4694 Don't make me vomit.
I hate A-rod, don't care for Girardi, but you're right (besides winning a world series.) Managers have to stand up for all their players, steroid user or not. He was right to be fucking livid, Dempster should have been thrown after the second pitch. imo.
Great manager, always cared about the team. Made a very good team from the players that were given to him. But i guess it was his time. Good luck to joe.
1:57 Aaron Judge is just siiting in the back, minding his own business. 😂
Static Fuzz with Russell Martin experiencing some sort of existential dread in front 😩
Judge doesn’t usually get involved with altercations
No offense to Aaron Boone, he will never have the intensity and fire that Girardi did.
Give him time, this city gets to you fast, and changes you!
the one when he was acting like the catcher showing the low pitch was good though
I’m a Mets fan, yet I’ve always loved Joey G. I’d LOVE to have him come manage the sad Mets team.
I thought girardi was a very good coach,. But they said that he wasn't close to the players.... I didn't notice it.... But they want a coach who will kinda be open and baby the players... The game always mimics the time it's in ..
I really hope u saw the clip of him the other day lol
13:01 that’s probably the most epic tantrum of Girardi’s career.
God, he had a scary face in that one
Nah l think the one where ARod got hit by Dempster in Boston was the best one.
Veins popping, face red. Scary. I love him, though.
That’s not a strike
Can’t imagine all the spit in their faces.
I love that Joe was right on nearly all of the calls. Greatest Yankee manager I’ve ever witnessed in my life time. I wish they would have kept him because he really ran a tight ship.
I will deeply miss him😕
HAHAHAHHAHA
Wild Card Placement aww me too 😭😭😭
Me to
Wild Card Placement 28 likes.
Me too
16:10 any other time, team, batter or pitcher would've resulted in an ejection for the pitcher, wtf... Joe was rightfully incensed.
He always stood up for his players and hadnt only succes with decent but also with average rosters. And he was damn funny when beeing angry :D Defo will miss the guy.
Yeah the managers tend to be funnier the more animated they are haha lol
Even as a Red Sox fan I had so much respect for Joe in NY. Great manager
the YES Network did a piece on Girardi once where they revealed that he and his youngest daughter had a tradition that any time he gets fined from an ejection, he'll give his daughter the honor of mailing off the check for the fine. He's a consummate family man and I'm sure he makes it a teachable moment for his kids in showing them that his players were like family to him too, and sometimes you have to stick up for your family even if it might have consequences.
If we did every Bobby Cox ejection, we would be here all day.
Pwnzistor I agree to because Bobby Cox is has been ejected so many times
We did every Bobby Cox ejection, we could be here all day.
When your career shows 31:50 of ejections, you know you're a professional cannon ball.
He's used that as a tactic to fire up his team.
I watch this about once a month to remind me of the good ol days when the Yankees had a good manager who cared
You know Girardi cares about his players when he stands up for A-Rod. God I miss him on the Yanks, you fellas in Philadelphia are lucky to have him, hope he leads the Phils to a WS title.
big mistake firing girardi..what he did with the yankees this season was amazing..
lethrneck4 and now no one knows who’s going to replace him.
WesleyAPEX yep it seems they don't know either
WesleyAPEX Aaron Boone
They did but fire him he was getting old
He was never fired
Dam it took 4 people to hold back sabthia
John Subia probably would've taken more to hold back Randy Johnson
That's why CC never got into fights. Lemme just take my base if he beaned me. At best, I'll do the "Hold me back". Dude is practically an NFL Offensive Tackle
Miss Joe! Not a Yanks fan, but have tons of respect for him. He had his guys’ backs!
9:00 now joe is gonna put on a show 😂😂😂😂😂
Watching Girardi and CC own that ump makes me laugh every time.
And how CC was towering over that ump!! Lol!!
Is there a CZcams vid of the lead up to that?
One thing you can say about Joe Girardi is he always backed his players.
*Most passionate manager in the game !🔥*
The amount of times i have seen joe girardi say "bullshit" in this video alone is fucking hilarious
I hope Aaron Boone gets this fired up and stands up for his players like Joe always did
I miss joe he was honestly a big key factor to the Yankees success he was a humble guy who always stood up for his team not afraid to get ejected to state his point
Everytime Joe's players get ejected then he comes running out of the dugout less than a second!! He had lots of fire power. Joe Giardi is my favorite Yankees Manager ever. Aaron Boone is good too, he got ejected a couple times. But Joe Giardi always had his players backs. I'm gonna miss him.
I loved how Girardi always had his player's back. When he stood up for AROD. That showed what type of person Girardi was.
Don't like Arod but if the intent was obvious the picture should've been ejected
The news made me cry....
dawn i think it was a HUGE mistake
Same here. I get where the front office is coming from. Cause he and cashman it was almost like a marriage that fell apart. And I understand girardi isn't the most loveable manager in the world, but every year he had his teams over achieve. He's the right guy for this city. And if they win 85 games or less and miss the playoffs they will realize why and regret this
Girardi to LA
Hahahahaha it was hilarious
Wherever he ends up, they will do well.
HOLY SHIT practically 32 mins damnnnn knew he got tossed a lot as a fan...
Who’s here after he signed with the Phillies ?
Ready to run through a brick wall already for Joe. Haha.
JB Dixon I am
LETS GO PHILLIES
Really wish the rox would have fired bud black and hires girardi
I can't wait
Oh yes he’ll make a fine fit in philly
Lmao
I was gonna say that.
Girardi is an amazing color commentator. His discussions this ALDS with AJ Pierzynski are really wonderful to listen to, baseball on the field made it better. Only time two people who both caught perfect games called a game.
The Baltimore fan in the red shirt @12:13 has me absolutely cracking up!
Love Joe. I think we're in for a lot more of these with him hired as the Phillies skipper. But I love the passion Joe brings to the managerial side of baseball. He always stands up for his players. He isn't a pushover like Kapler. Kap got thrown out, I think twice, in 2 years.
that one casual ejection @0:56 was the greatest thing I've ever seen umpire literally said " I can throw you out, you want it" Joe says "You're gonna have to" and just casually af gets tossed
I'm a Mets and Red Sox fan but there are 3 Managers I respect for always standing up for their teams.
1. Girardi
2. Bannister
3. McClenddon
Joe was tough. Good manager
Fun isn't something one considers when watching Yankee games, but this...
does put a smile on my face.
I hate the Yankees with a passion (Oriole fan here) but Joe sure put on a good show when he got ejected.
Me too
Only manager who I think would've put up more of a show was Bobby V
@@nightmareajbusheysomeonesy7499 billy martin was pretty good too lmao
It’s absolutely hilarious
@Sarah Remmel hahaha stay mad #27rings #chasefor28 #theevilempirelives4ever
13:01 My favorite moment right there 😂
Love how it ends with a hat slam
I was dying laughing when he gets angry with the umpire
Starless2012 and that was his final ejection.
Lol yeah joe girardi livid right now laz diaz crew
joe genuinely loved his players and did all he can to show that he's giving them his full support. that kind of stuff really boosts the players' confidence
Coach was no joke . On point 99% of the times.
Hands down most passionate manager in baseball. Never took shit from anybody.
This makes me appreciate girardi because Boone never argues
Padraig O'Hagan that's ice cold take today after Boone's savage moment yesterday 7-18-19
Miss Joe ....come back to NY !!
I thought Joe Girardi should be allowed to come back as manager. He had the Bombers going in the right direction.
G. Michael Graham except when the Bums were jokes.
He was fired cause of being too rough on Gary and he doesn't obey.
Being from the UK and not knowing a lot about baseball. I'd love to know what hes saying, like look how mad he is. 😂
and he was completely right about everything except the red sox guy having his foot on the base
Kevin Kabara he did that to fire up the team
Philadelphia, enjoy this guy as your next manager for the next 3 years.
As a Yankees fan I appreciate this dedication
Miss Joe ....he needs to come back
some of these calls are outrageous! Those ejections were worth it
I wonder if Joe and Lance Diaz have ever just chilled and had a beer together ....lol .
I don't even care if he was wrong in some situations I love how he backs his team up
I'm going to miss Joe G. Hopefully the new manager will be as fiery as him.
limeyking my boi boone
lmao nope we didn’t
Lol nope
Boone did good the other day but no where near Girardi’s level
limeyking fuck you
“he told him he’s wrong, and then he rated is call.” excellent lol
Joe Girardi is the best at furiously screaming at an umpire while holding back his own furious players
If you listen closely you can hear CC say fucker to the ump as he and Girardi argue with the ump.
@14:33 'Who are you, telling me ''shut up''? That's bullshit!'
Joe played the game. He was a good coach who had his players back.
Joe Girardi just got his 1st ejection as a Phillies manager!!!! 😍😍
Let's see how the yes man analytical manager they going to hire will argue and protect players .Joe had his players backs forreal
I really miss joe. I used to get so fired up when he came stomping outta the dugout!
How did New York let him go? Honestly? He cared so much about the team and won more than Boone ever did. As a tigers fan I wished we had Giradi tbh.
I loved Joe as a manager. He did a hell of a job and shouldn't have gotten fired
His temper tantrums are awsome.
i will praise you FOREVER if you can find all the footage of sweet Lou Pinella being ejected over the years. he had so many good ones with seattle that i cant find anywhere.
You forgot his 2008 ejections, one of my favorites was the one with giambi
Joe Girardi was better at arguments than Aaron Boone. He was always fired up.🔥
CC is one intimidating sight especially if he's running at you
Phillies are about to get some treats next year
say what you want about the Yankees, say what you want about the team he fielded. He looked out for his players. shame to see him part ways with New York.
joe was a huge hycprite
Man this was fun to watch.. I miss Girardi
This is the best video on CZcams how the fuck do you replace him ? The Bronx will never be the same
10:00 i don't know why but i really do enjoy when the umpires actually do an argument back instead of just sitting there. It gives it a lot more of a character
What can you say, Joe's a passionate man.
God i miss that guy. His arguments were amazing. Boone is doing a good job though lol
I miss Joe and how he always had his players back
I will miss him 😢
5:21-6:08, 12:49-14:11, 15:21-17:51, 24:06-24:54, 27:44-29:44
The Boston Red Sox clips are my favorites
When girardi wasnt given a contract after loosing in the ALCS a series they weren't even suppose to be in.... I died a little inside..... and lost respect for the yankees this guy bled pin stripes
@14:20 an at bat with Matt Harvey pitching to Greg Bird, amazing they were both on the same field at the same time
I’m gonna miss him
Brian Posik i think the Yankees screwed up by firing him.
Joe backed his players! I wanted him back for another season
I'll say it, if the Yankees never got rid of Girardi after '17, they would probably have a world series or two by now. Girardi only got one real go-around with the "Baby Bomber" Yankees and managed to get them to within one game of the World Series. The team had so much potential then, most of which has been completely wasted by now. It's a shame.
Agreed. The Yankees made a big mistake in that regard
My favorite Cubs catcher and was one helluva manager. The Yankees have been so lucky to have him.
Welcome to Philadelphia Joe.
Say what you want about Girardi but he carried the Team he managed in his heart like it is his Family.
選手の為に一生懸命になってくれるジラルディーはカッコいい。こういう監督についていくね。
I always laugh at the 1:29 clip because judge is just out of focus in the background looking like he's afraid someone will yell at him next.
I just watched the whole video and I thnk Joe was right seriously almost every time except 2 calls the mist 3 calls .Great job Joe real passion standing up for your team yourself and proper baseball calls.I gv your managing time in NY a solid 8 -10
Good coach..
I’m a Yankees fan. I truly miss Girardi and Jeter.
I miss all the crew.
lol - i love that this video is 30+ minutes. i laughed before i even clicked on it
I miss Joe. HE knew how to handle a bullpen. Thx 4 nuthin cashman.
Miss Joe in NY!! Bring him back!!
