@@lenirasusana5693 Racism came from colorism which was actually everywhere because the male sex preferring light-skin over dark-skin = this is the definition of colorism and therefore the same definition goes for racism (light-skin superiority over dark-skin being inferior). This is the Ideology of white supremacy = created by the male sex (patriarchy) because they have the "power" to do so.
White supremacy (racism) and female oppression are connected with each other through the patriarchy.
In order to erase Racism and female oppression we have to destroy the patriarchy and replace it with a system of justice = buddhist economics.

Your are completely mistaken in your interpretation. The 13th Amendment abolished slavery in the United States, but does not prohibit forced prison labor. We have mass incarceration because we have massive crime. People are in prison because they are murderers, rapists, robbers, thieves or violent towards other members of society. The post modern leftists would like you to believe most people are in prison simply for possessing small amounts of narcotics for personal use, but this is pure propaganda nonsense. The fact is most people in prison are there because they are completely destructive to society unless they happen to be part of the small percentage of people that have been wrongly convicted or are victims of unethical or unconstitutional government policy. If we released all people convicted of victimless crimes such as simple drug possession for personal use as we should, the relative size of the prison population would essentially remain the same.

Both groups' experience of oppression should be validated because of the simple fact that they are reporting the same thing: racism, which is a historical reality in the US and continues to be.
The perception that just because a group of people who "usually blame themselves" are now addressing racism is a misrepresentation of the fact it is a social, political, and yes economical issue. Racism exists on all levels; it's not limited to one aspect of living as a community or a nation.

Basically white guys without a degree have got so much white privilege that they are better off than non-white people with degrees. But what are those degrees: African studies? Micro-aggression? And why white people without a degree make more money than non-whites? Maybe because they work better? They parents sacrificed for them while non-white parents didn't? What about affirmative action? Is that fair after so much time slavery ended?

These skewed numbers are due to social factors, not racial factors. The creation of the welfare state in the 1960's has wrecked havoc on the black family and created a culture of government subsistence for an extreme disproportion of the black population. Over 70% of black children are born out of wedlock and this is the single most important factor in predicting future economic success. In addition, the the birth rate of black women is much higher than white women. Children are an economic drain in a post-agrarian society, but government sponsored welfare programs incentivize single women having more children. Claiming racism is responsible for these numbers is simply dishonest and is the reason sociology will not solve any societal ills.
