Listening to college kids talk confirms to me that we need to raise the voting age.
Reading comments like yours confirms to me that we need to ensure only people with a college degree can vote.
@@leefairweather5772 so only the indoctrinated can vote?
Less people need to go to college
We need to raise the kids, not the voting age. ;-)
@@timprobst7905do both. How can you vote for the most powerful person in the world that has wide reaching ramifications for billions of people but you can’t buy yourself alcohol. It makes no sense, and if you paid any attention to the latest stats from Dept of Education, new generations are worse off from their previous counterparts. Just look at math and reading capacities, there’s no room to talk.
the difference is, the BLM rioters were bailed out while J6 defendants rotted in prison and solitaire.
I believe the longest was ten years and that's using things that go booomy.
@DerekWhite-yx2ce Actually, one of the ones sentenced to the longest time wasn't even in DC ...
Some of them have been in jail since 2020 and haven't even been charged yet!! But, BLM rioters are free, walking around, living their lives, ready to destroy the next U.S. city when given the command.
Kamie Harris did fundraising to bail out BLM rioters while serving as a Senator...
@@DerekWhite-yx2ce There was no "booomy" and the longest sentence is 22 years slapped onto a individual that wasn't even there on the 6th. 🙄
Most all of these political prisoners will be released and be rich asf soon enough.
Uhh, billions of dollars in property damage and dozens of deaths.
On the blm side people died. The only person to die as a result of what happened on January 6th was Ashley Babbit. Blm riots killed 39 people.
"a little bit of chaos"
Go ask Jake Paul why he was rioting.
Thank you!
That’s black privilege for ya.

There’s a difference, one group was breaking windows and trespassing and the other group was committing murder, arson, serial theft, and destruction of public and private property
On was one day and thousands of $$ damage, the other was 6 months and tens of millions $$.
Sadly this topic was dramatically opinionated. There was no insurrection on January 6. I feel like people dont know the definition of an insurrection and this should be explained from the start of the conversation. Secondly the fact that we allow people let alone students believe that the BLM riots only caused "minor damage" to the communities it was engaged in is ridiculous. I believe the approximate estimate was $1-2 billion in damages between May 26-June 8th.
Unfortunately this topic was handled poorly. But overall this class and the professor is very important.
"Edit for typos 😅"
Well you know speech is violence 🤔😂😂😂
LoL $1 - 2 Billion ..hahaha... I wish it was that low. it is estimated at around 5 Billion . But the best part that is almost fucking ironic , most is the things burned and looted were from lower to middle income areas. And we all know , NOTHING is going to get built back in those areas. When it is gone , you will be SOL.
There is no way Jan 6th wasn’t an inside job. The interview of the chief of capital police, two different police officers and a lieutenant; Nancy pelosi’s statement after being informed of the riot; and the inability of the fbi and dhs to answer any questions all give evidence to it being staged.
Even trump admitted it was an insurrection bro lol
@@ddesy Here let me help you. Oxford dictionary: Insurrection - A violent uprising against an authority or government.
Apparently you did not watch any of the 12 hour video surveillance.
You can call it an un peaceful protest or even a riot, but it was not an insurrection. No insurrection in history has ever taken place without the use of violence let alone no firearms.
Believe what you want but these are the facts.
You can't have an insurrection without weapons
Or insurrectionists. People walking through the capital, being guided by cops, is not insurrection.
No weapons and NO PLANs
@@travisjazzbo3490 Thank you! I've been telling people this since it happened. Without weapons, there IS NO insurrection.
Let's not forget that one of the very people (biden) that is pushing the whole inserrection BS also says that you can't fight the government unless you have tanks and fighter planes. So in that case it is not an insurrection since that didn't have those things
Democrats: The 2nd Amendment is invalid b/c 100M Americans with 300M firearms could never meaningfully resist the US military with a tyrant leader.
Also Dems: A couple hundred unarmed people walking around the Capitol were a serious threat to take control of the US government and military.
Riots aren't protests.
funny how looting and rioting causing billions in damage is seen as "peaceful protesting" but barely any damages and only 1 death is seen as an insurrection? this country is doomed for sure if we dont get trump in office for 2024
What is worse: a single person overdosing while in police custody, or a stolen election where every citizen has been disenfranchised?
Yes, the election was rigged bc it didn’t go my way ❄️❄️❄️ so icy in the comments.
Exactly
The guy was a scumbag that threatened a pregnant lady with a gun during a home invasion.
100%. Derek Chauvin was thrown under the bus for the ravenous mob. Georgie boy Floyd died from an overdose of fentanyl from the "speedball" he had swallowed in an attempt to not get busted with it. The whole knee on the neck thing was highly overblown and furthered as a political tool for the left to yet again sow racial tensions. Chauvin went out of his way to try and make Floyd more comfortable after Floyd cried constantly about being claustrophobic and Chauvin did so likely because of the police being villainized so badly at the time. If Chauvin would have just let Floyd stay in the car while EMS was in route then Floyd would have overdosed there instead and Chauvin would have been criticized for not helping him so honestly he was unfortunately fucked either way.
Let's not forget why he was in police custody. He was passing counterfeit money and acting erratically while on drugs. He put himself in the position to freak out and die on fentanyl.
That young lady reminds me so much of my self when I was her age. Consistently growing up thinking that we’re victims in this country because of the color of our skin and we’re not equal which is completely not true. Black people are the ones that oppress themselves with a victim mentality. We have the same opportunity just like anyone else in this prosperous country. We must stop thinking that we are systemically oppressed when that is not true, we oppress ourselves when we decide to make the wrong decisions. I’m not saying that there is not racist people out there but the majority of this country is not racist. America is just not a racist country and I’m proud to be an American and destroying our cities and defunding the police is not the answer and people in poverty that live in bad neighborhoods will be the main ones that this will effect. Support our police and be grateful to be an American 🇺🇸
I don’t share a victim mentality, I also don’t deny systemic racism exists. To paint all Black people as having a victim mentality is purposefully minimizing. The damage that has been done. If there is no systemic oppression against Black people, explain the crack-cocaine epidemic, the 1994 Crime Bill, the school-to-prison pipeline, & redlining (Wells Fargo has been sued more than twice in the last 15yrs for redlining practices & denying mortgages to qualified Black applicants). What evidence do you have the “we have the same opportunity” when ACCESS precedes that opportunity. We have a nation that undervalues public education, and collects property taxes to fund that education. What evidence do you have that the majority of Black people don’t acknowledge being an American comes with a better quality of life compared to other nations? American Blacks have every right to criticize the nation our ancestors built. I’m a veteran and college-educated, and would never make the ridiculous comments you just did. Poverty affects everyone, and the majority of Black America is lower working class or impoverished. Refusing to acknowledge that there ARE barriers, despite those of us that succeed is wild. Of course there are issues within the culture itself, and those issues all stem from poverty. If you’re going to say “we”, don’t dismiss the larger issues simply because you made it.
Ty
Well said.
God Bless you. Please speak to more young women, let them hear your wisdom!
"We have the same opportunity just like anyone else in this prosperous country. We must stop thinking that we are systemically oppressed when that is not true, we oppress ourselves when we decide to make the wrong decisions." Great statement!
There are countless examples of people rising out of poverty to make a better life for themselves and family. I doubt any would say it was easy.
How does the African-American student, Tori, see Trump supporters as cult members?

@@deepzone31 affirmative action to the rescue
One lasted a few hours, the other lasted for an entire summer.
One was incredibly destructive resulting in the most financially devastating riots in US history, the other broke some windows and did some other minor damage to one building
One attacked the government, the other attacked everyday people, neighbors and neighborhoods, burnt down entire city blocks and impacted areas for years to come.
One destroyed the lives and businesses of the poor and underserved, one pissed off a bunch of rich politicians
One was underblown and trivialized, the other was blown entirely out of proportion
One riot resulted in the death of at least 25 people (it is hard to believe it's that low). One resulted in the death of one unarmed protestor.
AND NOBODY WAS HELD ACCOUNTABLE. THE LEFT IS NEVER PROSECUTED!
Great layout. Small correction - the government was NOT attacked - how many arms were drawn - and how many shots were fire at the government? - other than maybe to show up the crime it - the government - had committed.
spot on mate...
Part wrong, there was no attack on the government, but there should have been knowing the results.
You have completely minimized the situation. 1/6 - broke windows, broke doen doors, killed cops, killed other Trump supporters, crapped in the building and wiped it everywhere, STOLE NATIONAL DATA AND SECRETS! Stop twisting the facts to serve your view.
"little bit of chaos"? More like billions in damage
Not to mention those protesters killed.
70 dead billions in damage from the BLM riots
Jan 6th very little in damage two unarmed white women protesters killed by two black cops.
In the George Floyd riots, at least 19 more people were killed (some of whom were black people). In the LA riots the death toll was around 63. And then, ya, there was the astronomical amount of property damage and rioters thinking it was OK to loot or commit arson (sometimes justifying it as reparation's or claiming it was insured and therefore OK).
Also, there have been multiple cases of non-black people dying in similar ways as George Floyd (though without the 2 to 3 times lethal dose of fentanyl in them) yet many people have never heard of them, nor were there any massive protests or riots due to it.
13% responsible for 50% of the crime. When one considers it’s mostly men, then it’s 6% responsible for 50% of the crime. Definitely not rookie numbers.

I would be very interested in seeing evidence that black women are held to a higher standard. This is counter to what I have observed both personally and professionally.
DEI paints a dufferent reality. As if a black woman needs to meet the same standards as a white man to get the same opportunities these days 😂
It's exactly the opposite of the truth.
Asian people are definitly held to higher standward for sure. I remember when I was in school its ok if black student did something bad. God forbid if any Asian kids do anything better. Because we were supposedely supposed to know better.
Sadly, I don’t disagree. There was a time, not too long ago, we were taught we had to outperform whites and others for certain jobs and promotions. It’s not like that anymore, especially for women.
No doubt
As a recent graduate of the University of Michigan I can tell you that a devastating number of students are exactly like this girl.
We live in a scary world.
This poor young lady can't disingage from her victim mentality. My 25 year old daughter, she's not black, but she used to vocalize similarly beliefs. Now she's waking up and im hearing a different take. I hope this young lady changes with age.
The Communist brain washing is palpable
The difference was the violence, burning, and looting. No accountability.
And the murders.
When Trump was misquoted as saying that Jan 6 was an insurrection, he was referring to the fact that he had called upon the National Guard to be at the capitol but Nancy Peloci called it off and reduced the police presence in effect allowing a worse outcome. He was saying Nancy Pelocy prevented security measures for the purpose of getting a reaction she could label an insurrection.
$2+ billion isn't just a little destruction.
Leftards lie all the time.
true and thats not including the price of everything that was stolen during the rioting
When did the definition of 'protesting' expand to include violent rioting, arsony and looting & stealing? Did I miss something here??
"a very small amount of destruction"...was that sarcasm? I don't think so. I guess to him, burning up at least 200 buildings and cars and looting in different cities counts as 'small'.
I was trying to figure out if it was sarcasm also. He didn't correct her on a "little bit of chaos" etc. The girl is a big race baiter. She has no interest in looking at things differently or from another perspective.
It's a very small amount of damage unless it was your home or small business destroyed during those riots.
I think when the professor started with: “bro, dude, man” you knew where this was going.
Pretty sure the damage across the US in the wake of all the BLM protests and riots was like 200 billion according to insurance claims.
I think he was sarcastically repeating what she said to get her to realize she was actually downplaying the destruction of BLM rioting.
Billions of dollars in destruction is a small amount?
Well, considering our government just sent another $95 billion to Ukraine, it does seem small in comparison. However, I agree, it’s far too much considering how many small businesses suffered, even black-owned ones.
@@tigerl21Roflmao. BlAck ones, huh?
@@tigerl21 Government expenditure isn't relevant when you're measuring the financial losses of private citizens. Like if I stole $10,000 from you and said "the government loses hundreds of billions just to national debt interest payments."
It’s ironic to hear people at a cult mill calling other people cult members.
I get so depressed when I see modern college students "think out loud". These weak, manipulated minds are the future of our country. So, we have no future - unless the unindoctrinated working class, that did NOT go to college, will take the reigns when it is their time. We're screwed if these kids run ANY thing but their own Instagram accounts.
I worry about the same thing.
Like the elites will allow people like them in their future?
Our enemies have already positioned these kinds to take over most industries, social and government institutions for many decades. There is no peaceful way around this. Blood spills for freedom, the question is do we want it? Will we continue to unreasonably value and privilege others over us?
COLLEGE MAKE YOU DUMMER THESE DAYS!
And I think your not thinking back to how you thought about the world in your young days. Not defending nor criticizing. Just saying.
The difference is the January 6th rioters didn't burn the swamp to the ground
As a Canadian the main difference seemed to be that there was nothing on fire with a reporter insisting everything was mostly peaceful.
$2 billion in damage, a retired former black police officer killed. Countless black business owners property damaged, because it's 'bout black lives yo. Yeah, just a "little chaos".
You can't talk about Jan 6 without May 29--when DC burned, the Whitehouse was assaulted, guards were attacked & injured, etc. Just look at the photos.
Whatever analysis you use to understand one, you have to use on the other. To date, no media organization has done that, so few people have even thought about doing it.
Bro the Whitehouse wasn't assaulted. There are videos of people being let in
@karlalan3806 there are videos of a door and window being smashed in just not at the White House but congress
@@karlalan3806 The protestors injured over 60 secret service agents. That's sounds like assault.
@@UncontrolledJibe Both statements are true but neither are descriptive of an entire event. It's why "mostly peaceful protests" don't mean anything. If a protest is 90% peaceful then yes, the majority of attendees are not guilty of a crime. The other 10% of non-peaceful protesters put a stain on the rest of the participants. You can't discard the 10% violent protesters at a BLM riot and describe the rest of the protests as peaceful, and then turn around and use the 10% violent protesters on J6 to apply to the 90% peaceful protesters. That's the entire issue, do the violent ruin for the peaceful and if so is that the case consistently?
Secret Service took President Trump to an underground bunker because of BLM riots. More police were injured in the March 29, 2020 riots and several times more property damage than on Jan 6th.
What’s wild to me is idea that if your black you somehow are criticized more. From my experience being black in today’s day and age is a shield that defends against all criticism.
How? What way are black people not criticised when entire news stations, political pundits, politicians and others have made a career criticising and dehumanising black people and have done so for centuries at this point? Sorry, you’re not living in the real world.

I would like to see a comparable analysis of sentencing of those involved in both instances as a whole or average sentencing. To see if the system is benefiting an individual group over the other. If we are to comapre these specific events.
You mean an army of celebrities funding and calling for bail on one side with almost zero jail time cumulatively vs one of the largest investigations/manhunts of US citizens in the 21st century? Yeah, I’d be very interested in the hard numbers as well.
Dude that sat in peolsis chair and put his feet on her desk. 7 years.
Democrat staffer that filmed a gay porno in the senate will not be charged with anything.
Yeah, the left wouldn’t want you to see that…
Looking carefully at the video reports about blm and jan6 it can be seen that in both cases the initiators were the same people. It's just that the winners don't want to divulge the company's secrets.
Their self-centering is what got me to stop supporting them. Absolutely shameless in their selfishness.
I really like this guys style of teaching and I've seen some fantastic videos of his, but I kinda feel like he has some blinders on when it comes to this subject matter
Agree 💯
I'm very curious, what would you say some of those blinders are?
Penn State won't allow actual factual truth to be discussed in his class.
I think he handles them with kid gloves sometimes because he doesn't want to offend anyone. More and more is coming out every day about the election corruption, about all these mayor's and prosecutors on witch hunts while also misusing funds. These kids don't have real jobs yet, don't pay taxes, don't really understand clearly what is going on and why people were upset. Look at what has happened to our country!
People walk in and out of that capital building all the time, why is it such a big deal on January 6th?
This also shows what a waste of money College is. These kids are so ignorant.
Arrogant too
Correction it is on average 10-15 unarmed blacks killed per year by police not 30.

@@johnkrstyen7351 Dropped my post with the link for this March 9th, 2022 Manhattan Institute article "Fatal Police Shootings and Race: A Review of the Evidence and Suggestions for Future Research" "...not all shootings of unarmed civilians are unjustified...And contrary to the popular perceptions outlined above, confirmed fatal police shootings of unarmed African-Americans number about 22 per year." This article uses some language I don't agree with but seems to be relatively unbiased in presenting the data.
@ShelliG yeah youtube does not allow non youtube links. Thanks.
100% she's still the same "oppressed victim" after that talk as she was before that talk lol
There was no coup on January 6 ..
Even Joe said that you will need some F-15 jets to overthrow the government. Walking into a building with doors open does not sound like an insurrection.
Nor has anyone been charged with the "I" word this college student haphazardly threw around thanks to mainstream media.
I agree. The coup actually took place on Nov. 3rd, 2020.
It's amazing to me that this professor continues to have a job when facts and truths are really not allowed in most schools. He'd be banned/cancelled/vilified unless he towed the leftist line and push forward the usual fear narrative.
You have a cartoonist opinion of what happens in most of academia.
@@cyberneticqualanaut7207 You mean what actually happens in most of academia? because you are so ensconced in the leftist bubble you think that all is normal and fine when clearly its a disaster. Heard about the Harvard dean and others?
@@cyberneticqualanaut7207 Really? You must live under a rock. The woke mind virus has become a social contagion…it’s everywhere.
This is a left wing professor.
@@davidrobertsemail he is definitely a moderate, not a leftist.
One lasted all summer and cost many cities billions. The other was a psyop with guided tours.
There is no comparison.
A little bit of destruction?
I think a stat that puts this conversation into more perspective is to compare these numbers to the total number of Americans that die due to medical malpractice each year.
Estimates put us north of 250,000 Americans annually. That is 250X the total number killed by police officers....
So, do we make the same argument that doctors and nurses are "systematically murderous"?
Good point. Thanks for posting this.
Yes. I work in the medicial field, and there is now mandatory continuing education that medical people should "stop being racist" and start caring for black people as well as white people. Thr evidence for the racist lack of care, is of course a difference in health statistically.
This isnt blamed on poverty, or cultural choices (weight, inner-city drugs, city gang violence). No. The mandatory continuing ed, requires that medical personel promise to be less racist in the coming year.
Everything is political now
This conversation should be revisited after the participants have watched the full video finally released
This seems to completely ignore the possibility of government agents taking the first steps of violence and leading the crowd
both the blm riots and jan 6th seemed to have agents provocateurs in the crowds
Love the conversation!! Thanks!!
She says “A little bit of chaos?” when talking about the BLM/Antifa 😅 Come on, man? People were killed, communities destroyed…😢
I appreciate the professor clarifying the statistics about fatal police encounters. I wish he included the stats for officers and all first responders killed in the line of duty
30+ deaths is not a little bit of chaos...

@@shockerck4465 With the current mayor trying to stick his head in the sand toward black on black crime.
As a professor you need to do more research and be more accurate to what was actual said by Trump on Jan 6th because your statement was incorrect.
He is worse than the brain dead girl. At least she is an uninformed leftist, and that’s obvious. He is also a leftist, except he lies and tries to pass himself off as a reasonable moderate.
Amazingly, President Trump had to be taken down into a bunker. The White House was under attack and no one was arrested or went to jail! Dam January 6!
Just like everything else, January 6, was a shame! One-side crap! This is why I can't take the left seriously.
This teacher is the hero we need. Challenging people on their beliefs is key
He is a leftist and an imbecile.
Defending race vs actions. Never ends
“Only a small amount of destruction”……😂😂😂 come on Sam. Try not to let your bias show through here. This could have been a good talk if it wasn’t so bias.
I understand the teacher needs to balance the kids feeling comfortable about talking against fact checking…but that girl just blurts out radical things like insurrection and ACAB and he just gives little pushback. Was fun to see her brain brake trying to justify GF riots and realizing she could use the same argument to justify J6.
Hey what is ACAB, not from the states. I googled it and saw "All Cops Are Bastards" but that was from the 40s. Please don't tell me this is an actual thing today? Not coming from college kids that are supposed to be enlightened and open minded? We cannot have groups out there that actually put all of even a small portion of policemen into such a bucket?
I couldnt believe he let her slide on ACAB.
The answer is not 30.
Its 9 unarmed black men.
About 300 unarmed white men.
It's 19....but not 30. the last time I checked. a tiny number still relative to the population of the black community and tinier still relative to the general population. The media is all about pushing narratives if the see some political advantage in it for their preferred party...which would be democrats 90 percent of the time.
One was a protest the other was just a reason to steal and tare shit up 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Given that suppressed evidence in the George Floyd case that's come to light Chauvin should but sadly never will get a retrial because the current climate won't allow it also BLMANTIFA would go nuts again. Not that it takes much to set them off
Derek Chauvin knelt on George Floyd’s carotid for almost ten minutes, regardless of whether or not he had an adrenaline secreting tumor or what drugs he was on he wasn’t overdosing or dying until blood flow to his brain was obstructed for almost double the amount of time it takes to develop irreversible brain damage.
Bottom line Derek Chauvin is a murderer and exactly where he belongs. George Floyd’s death was a direct result of willful and purposeful actions taken by the police during that encounter.
Even someone not on drugs and tumor free would have very possibly died as well. Derek Chauvin had a pattern of this type of knee on neck restraint(never for as long as he used it on Floyd) and use of excessive force that resulted in a subsequent 8 million dollar settlement between the City and two other people victimized by Chauvin.
He was lynched by the mob.
Floyd died of a fentanyl overdose.
Let’s not forget BLM helps only themselves have stolen millions and helped zero black people actually have hurt a lot of them.
Many were invited by police into the building on Jan 6!
I like this professor, he's not taking a side, he's making these kids think...He's making them think and not pushing them what to think. we need more of these guys.
Why didn’t he point out that if 30% of unarmed blacks are killed by police, that means 70% aren’t black? Also unarmed doesn’t mean not deadly.
I love the systemic bs.... just call anything a generalization and not explain anything, how can you solve that? What system? This isnt the 1900's
Now we learn, or some of knew, that the whole George Floyd thing was a total justice fail and a propaganda giant
This guy is the near perfect teacher - teaching young people how to think, not what to think. We can all learn a lot from watching his vids.
Great teachers help challenge your assumptions and lack of thinking. This guy is great. Thanks Professor!
This professor is amazing. Really refreshing to hear these discussions and instead of getting upset, everyone is being forced to exercise critical thinking, at least somewhat. Also 17:59
Is pretty straightforward, once the “protest” turns violent.
It's not that straightforward when you remember if violence has occurred then someone has been victimised. Is it really good policing to wait for someone to be a victim? Or perhaps preventative policing is better?
I still want to know how many FBI Agents were in the crowd on J6.
My question is why the push for defunding vs more training, better training?
J6 - Police assisted.
BLM - Looting and burning.
All we need to know.
Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country 🇺🇸
Respect that he says black Americans instead of African Americans 💪🏾
Both groups had a built up pool of rage, needing a small trigger to justify their outlet. Both also acted on a limited/skewed understanding of reality.
questioning the shady 2020 election wasnt a skewed reality, it was necessary. Most people in congress are domestic enemies. George floyd was not murdered and it had nothing to do with racism, this was the only skewed reality
J6 had over 200 FBI agents embedded in the crowd instigating.
Both?
What was the purpose of invading the Capitol? What was to be achieved?
@@MH3GL BLM laid siege to the capital area and captured it calling the captured land CHAZ capital hill autonomous zone. While captured murder rape and violent crime skyrocketed, originally a black armed militia wanted the u.s government to give them Texas to govern for themselves.
Not both. One side was as protesting a stolen election. Few of those tens of thousands of protesters rioted. The only person murdered was unarmed white woman by a black racist cop.
With BLM the entire movement is a lie, violent riots after George Floyd overdosed led to billions in damage, dozens dead, and lasted for months.
J6 was mostly peaceful and lasted one day.
BLM was a violent uprising and lasted for months.
So stop lying and equating the two.
Trump may not have said leave, but he did say peaceful. Many of those people were invited in from the guards, should we prosecute the guards?
"not a lot of damage." Actually damages were $1-1B dollars.
This is at an age when you know everything and nothing at the same time. Between enlightenment and ignorance. Enlightenment is the realization of the fact that you don’t know and may be wrong. Ignorance is always being right.
